I loved this stuff the first time I tried it. I was a little skeptical because it says it would help frizz and I didn't need that since I was relaxed, but it was very moisturizing without weighting down my hair. I hate that it got discontinued.

I bought this when I had non-relaxed super curly, super dry, super frizzy hair. It did absolutely nothing to combat any of those problems, even though it said it would. I may give it a few more try's since I'm now relaxed, but if it still doesn't work, I will use it as body wash or something.

I have to agree with the others that this is a very good moisturizing shampoo for any hair type, and will definitely work well for super dry or damaged hair. This leaves my hair very soft and tangle free.

Shampoo -Nexxus - Botanoil Shampoo

Most Nexxus shampoos I don't like, but I love this one. It smells good and I kind of have a thing for the orange color. I don't know if it really strengthens my hair, but i do use it when I do deep protein treatments and it seems to help.

This is my favorite moisturizing shampoo. It's so thick it looks like body lotion, something that AA hair needs. I hate that it got discontinued, and to add insult to injury, my brother took it to summer camp and never returned with it.

Shampoo -Revlon - Creme of Nature Detangling/Conditioning Shampoo

I bought this on the recommendation of my stylist. It seems to work good in the salon but horrible when i use it in my shower. It did not detangle, moisturize or anything like that. As a matter of fact, it made my hair feel stripped. I ended up giving it to my grandmother.

I heard so man great things about it, I expected it to be my HG shampoo. I tried it a total of 4 times and it got worse each time. It tangles my hair up and did not moisturize at all. It did smell good though. I ended up giving the rest of the bottle to a friend.

I bought this thinking it would be better for my hair because it's supposed to be gentle. Well it was so gentle, it did not lather or clean my hair at all. I definitely do not recommend it.

Shampoo -Dove - Intense Moisture Shampoo

This is my favorite everyday shampoo. I have very dry relaxed hair and it's not as moisturizing as some other shampoos I've tried, but it is pretty good. I'm in the process of cutting shampoo out of my routine, so I won't be buying it again.

Conditioner -Pantene - Relaxed and Natural Breakage Defense

I have relaxed hair and am in the process of transitioning back to my natural coils and kinks, which means I am getting serious breakage issues. I used this, along with the shampoo and mask exclusively for a month and I am convinced. I went from seeing 15-20 strands of broken hair down to 3-5. They smell good and the tubes make it easier to use what you need without wasting any. The only think I don't like is that they are a bit more expensive than the regular line, which I like also.

I have the one in the "old" bottles but I love it. I love the smell and it detangles well. I've only used it as a pre-poo treatment, but I keep buying more and more of it.

This is one of the thicker creamier Suave's so I like it for my dry hair. I use it as a pre shampoo treatment, but it works well after washing also.

Conditioner -Garnier - Fortifying Cream Conditioner For Dry Or Damaged Hair

I have this stockpiled because I love it so much. I originally bought it because I have super coily/kinky African American hair and needed something to make it soft and this did the trick. It worked well on my hair when I began relaxing also. I just wish the bottles didn't open from the bottom because some times more than I want just spills out into my hand.
