I went on a whim with this foundation and have to stay I like it a lot. I'd say it's close to MUFE Foundation but cheaper by like $5-8 and I think it works just as well! It's a little watery but still thick enough to have medium coverage though I think you can build it. The smell is alright nothing great, a little does go a long way. The packaging is nice and I'm glad it has a easy pump to take out product. I'm not sure if it's the best foundation yet but it's been okay on my skin. Have a tiny breakout here and there but I think that's how my skin is in general. For color reference I'm like a C4 and use the 5.5 in Naked Skin.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
BXsenorita 4/2/2013 10:06:00 PM
Perfect moisturizer for winters or extremely dry skin, It really hydrates but didn't leave my skin feeling oily at all. It's a little bit more pricier than Clinque's other moisturizers but it does do a great job and it worth it. You really only need a little bit at a time for your face
Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb
BXsenorita 4/2/2013 10:03:00 PM
Mmmm... My favorite fragrance as of now. It's very, very sweet and strong. It's lasts until you take a shower seriously. It's a little pricey though but the smell is wonderful I got nothing but compliments from men that I smelled so good.
I love this palette! It's amazing and for the price it's actually a great value considering the pigmentation and quality of the shadows. Most of the shadows are shimmery and only 2 are matte. I think this is best for warm toned skin. I wish there was a few more mattes that were darker but other than that it's a great palette, a must have I believe. Stopped me from purchasing a ton of single shadows from another brand. It practically has everything you need. Neutrals are wonderful and never look bad so I encourage anyone to get this!
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
BXsenorita 4/1/2013 4:28:00 PM
Love this moisturizer, I've been using it for years! I agree that it does make skin a tad oily. The price isn't too bad and this is my everyday moisturizer. No scent which I love because it doesn't irritate my nose. On colder climates I switch to the Clinique moisture surge because my face tends to get extremely dry during the winter. I would reccomend this product to anyone though.
I have stretch marks like many other of us women, mine are from weight gain from when I went through puberty. I used to be a size 00 and turned to a size 7 within 2 months (but was in great shape as I was in sports) I didn't expect too much from this product because it's so inexpensive but I hoped within time it could possibly soften them at least. Followed all directions, used twice daily with a lot and honestly it did make my skin smoother and soften but it didn't affect my stretch marks in any way. For that I could just use their regular coco butter formula...does the same thing but for like $2-3 less.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Maui Babe Browning Lotion
BXsenorita 4/1/2013 12:24:00 AM
PROS: I LOVE THIS STUFF AND HAVE BEEN USING IT FOREVER! Price is great (under $15) I use this on top of my sun tan lotion and I get a beautiful tan all the time. You don't ever turn orange from it. The product is brown so it's easy to see where you applied for even and easy application. I will recommend this product to anyone. I used to be completely fair skinned but I am dark now. I think anyone with this along with suntan lotion can achieve a beautiful, natural tan. The only thing I can complain about this product is the smell...coffee sure it smells great but not on yourself. It's still worth it though.
I first tried this out as a sample I got from my reward points in Sephora. The sample lasted be a good month about and I can honestly say I liked it. It applies smoothly, didn't irritate my skin but I don't think it made my face completely matte (Could possibly be because of the moisturizer I use on top of it though). It did reduce shine and since it has Anti-Acne treatment it's helped me from breaking out as much. It's a little pricey but does do what it's supposed to. It's my go to for now until I find out that's better
My favorite red, it's really hard to pull off red but I think this is a perfect red for any skin tone! I never have tried red lipstick but had so many compliments with this color. I'm a C4 in MAC and even had my mom try it and she loves it. It made our teeth look really white :D it applies like a dream. the matte formula isn't drying at all. perfect red!
This is one of my must haves! I use this on pimples & as well as when I feel a pimple may be starting to form. The key is to not overdue it, if you keep applying it over & over again on a pimple that you already dried out it's going to irritate it and make it worse. So what I do is use a q-tip dip it in and dab it on any infected area (never dip it again, always use a new q-tip or you're putting bacteria back into the product. I do this every night and go sleep with it then wash it off in the morning. ALSO DO NOT squeeze or touch your pimples it can lead to acne scarring, and make the pimples look worse! I use it maybe a few nights on any pimple then at night I use a moisturizer and it'll clear up! (Never go to sleep with makeup on either it clogs your pores) sorry for the essay on this product lol but the price is around $18 I think plus tax, it's not too expensive and it's affordable and it'll last you a few months maybe more depending how much you use. very nice product to have
Makeup Brushes -Sonia Kashuk - pointed foundation brush
BXsenorita 7/12/2012 11:45:00 AM
I recently purchased this item out of curiosity and so far I actually love it. I do think it is a little small for a foundation brush but it worked out fine. Finally got a brush that doesn't leave streak marks I was so amazed especially for the price. I wasn't expecting the results I got. The shape is great because it can get in all the spots like under eyes and nose. For the price it's such a great buy was a lot better than my MAC foundation brush that left streaks.
this is the only NARS gloss I own and comparing them to the mac lipglass it's not as sticky. I love the color a lot and it can actually change some of the lipsticks coloring and I love that. It's lightweight and really pretty over Mac's Angel & Saint Germain. I wouldn't wear this over really nude lipsticks but maybe it's because I'm not very tan so it looks funny on me. The price is a little more than I'd like to spend on a gloss but I make an exception for this one
I bought this brush a week ago and I absolutely love it! I use MAC Studio Fix powder foundation with it and my face looks so flawless! I did have shedding occur in the beginning but it wasn't too bad I just wiped it off and it's recently stopped shedding completely for me. I don't use this brush with liquid or cream foundations since I'm sure which makes it shed even more. The price was a little more then I would love to spend on a brush but it was actually worth it. I'm sure I'll buy another one since this also picks up product better than any of my other brushes and it makes my studio fix last a lot longer so I don't have to buy a new one as quickly :] LOVE IT!
Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer
BXsenorita 2/13/2012 6:21:00 PM
Way too expensive, it does do a great job I will give it that but ugh the fragrance from it irritated my nose A LOT I kept sneezing from it, it annoyed me more than anything. I got compliments that my skin looked nice but it was not worth the irritation. felt like my nose was going to start bleeding from all the sneezing I did. if it had a different fragrance that was not as strong or maybe no fragrance at all I would buy it but for now NO
This is one of my favorite eyeshadows, it's pretty much my everyday one! The pigmentation is great and it goes on smoothly. It's very easy to work with, I love this shadow
