Tinted Moisturizer -Philosophy - Hope In A Tinted Moisturizer

The shade I got over a year ago was medium to tan, which is too dark for me right now (I'm ~NC35). That's not the issue: the problem is that it's too 'orange'. I have combination skin (oily t-zone, normal to dry cheeks) and this makes my skin very oily in no time. I don't like to use primers under TMs, I see no point in that. I don't like to use a primer to control oil with a TM. I don't like to mix it with other products either because it does has a strong fragrance.
For reference: I'm NC 35-37 and bought this in 230. Oh boy. I thought this was going to be Maybelline's equivalent for L'oreal's True Match but no... 1. Dewy dewy. I'f you're a fan of dewy finish, you'll love it. I don't simply because it emphasizes all my skin imperfections. 2. I don't think this is for combo/oily skins. A few hrs after applying this (and trying it w/ different primers or no primer), my skin was a grease manufacturing company. 3. Doesn't lasts much. I mean, first couple of hrs is okay but then it starts to go crazy on my skin. It separates and my skin looks blotchy. 4. Transfer like crazy. +Snoozing while having this on is not a good experience+ I guess this could work for someone with super dry/dull skin that lives in a cool environment. I live in an island with very humid weather and obviously that doesn't help. Funny thing is, though my True Match does transfer, it does not leaves my skin super oily or 'separates' on it. + Isn't Maybelline owned by L'oreal? Maybe they can give Maybelline a bit of help to work with the formula. Also, a pump would be highly appreciated (in all drugstore foundations) Thank you.
Beautiful color, but this gloss is not moisturizing as advertised and way too much glitter. I hate the type of gloss that leave glitter on your lips (also a bit outside them) when it's fading--this is one of those glosses. The wand is weird but I guess one could get used to it. Of course, would not buy again from this line.
Great performance, I use it mainly to blend color applied in my eye brows and to take off mascara clumps on my eyelashes. The only thing is it broke after almost a year of using it. But hey, for the price ($1), you just can't beat it.
Primer/ Corrector -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector
BRosa 5/3/2011 8:51:00 PM
This does brightens my under eye are...does not conceals any dark circles or spots. I honestly bought it for the SPF but I use this on top of a real concealer. The Neutrogena 3-in-1 concealer works best for that purpose. Looks nice as a soft highlighter and the bridge of the nose. For what it does...def. overpriced. Don't think I'd buy again.
I agree with other reviewers. I really don't understand why this is called 'PRO'. In fact, I believe I bought it thinking it was going to remove everything because it's name and the description MAC provides --"A mega-effective remover". But after almost soaking up I don't know how many cotton balls and pads, this just didn't work. I apply the product for more than 30 secs on each of my eyes and it just didn't remove my waterproof mascara. Complete waste of money. I like most of MAC product, this is not one of them.
Eyeliner -Milani - Liquif'eye Metallic eye liner pencil -black

Great product, glides on very easily. Very comparable to UD 24/7. The black one is very pigmented. But as other members have mentioned, this makes my eyes all blurry and teary. Can't apply it on the water line either. I don't understand why. If it wasn't for that, I'd buy again for sure.
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Italian Badger Buffer Brush Large

Great for buffing your foundation but oh-so-scratchy...It hurts my skin. 2 years ago when I bought it, it was okay--really liked it for powder foundation-- but now, no no no. =(
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Marie Louise - Creme a-VC
BRosa 12/17/2010 6:16:00 PM
Just bought the jar after finishing my little travel size one. This moisturizer is very creamy but so light on the skin, yet I feel it going deep into my skin. And not much is needed, specially if used the Moistraiser a-VC (favorite toner ever, wow!). I'd recommend it for 35+ young girls like me with dry cheeks, oily t-zone. Totally worth the cost.
Tinted Moisturizer -Juice Beauty - Juice Beauty - Spf 20 Mineral Medium

Itchy, Itchy, Itchy!!! God! This didn't do nothing to "even out" my skin tone. I go out to hot weather and started sweating--> my skin began to itch so bad and got irritated. Broke out quickly. Terrible.
Mascara -L'Oreal - Extra Volume Collagen Mascara (waterproof)
BRosa 9/4/2010 4:43:00 PM
I guess I'm one of the few here: I love the WP version of this mascara. Yes, it dries fast. I just apply two coats and remove any clumping (I might say its minimal in my experience with it) with my Tweezerman I-Lash Comb. Amazing results. This add so much volume to my lashes. Love the brush. I just wish it wouldn't dry so fast. Love the packaging and will buy again. PS: I really didn't like the original version of this mascara because it flakes and smudges really fast. Swatch-->
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Marie Louise - Restoration Clear Gel

I was lucky enough to try this for free and wow! At first I thought, you know this is too expensive and when I saw the texture (a thick liquid) I was really doubtfull it would work. But oh my, follow the instructions and you are left with very even textured skin. No bad reactions from my skin, which is a little sensitive. I love products like St. Ives, but this one gives a new meaning to "non-abrasive exfoliant". Marie Louise list the ingredients on its website. Would buy again.

Love this and it lasts for a long time. Pricey, yes. Does it delivers what it promises? Absolutely. My skin feels amazing after using it. It removes the most stubborn makeup (thinks EL Double Wear, WP mascara, etc...) without leaving the skin feeling greasy. Amazing. This has to be one of my fave products from this company. Would buy again.
Lip Treatments -Sally Hansen - Healing Butter for Lips
BRosa 6/17/2010 7:25:00 PM
I love this, use it everyday. I bought one a little more than a year ago. I used Carmex, but this doesn't compares. It is amazing, smells and tastes so good, feels very rich on my lips, lasts for a long time and works perfectly as a lip primer. I wish it'd come in a tube like the Carmex. I love it doesn't feel "waxy" like many others lip balms. Excellent product. Is it being discontinued? I can't find it anywhere except Ebay. =( Update--Jan2011: I absolutely hate this has been discontinued, I haven't found anything like it. I wish SH would provide a similar product. Please bring it back!
Great for removing waterproof mascara and lipstick. Love it on my lips, elbows and heels. As a facial moisturizer? NO. Clogs pores. Excellent product.
