Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush - Fresh Honey (Naturally Coll. 2012)
BLoNdeGLaM 2/24/2012 9:31:00 PM
Fresh Honey is a "warm apricot". As other ladies have said, this blush is VERY powdery! Just the slightest touch of your brush to the blush and there are loose flecks everywhere. Getting this color to look decent on my NC25 skin is a delicate balance of applying the blush then blending it in and buffing it out to look more natural. This isn't my favorite MAC blush, but it does give me a nice glow and is unique to my collection. Even if this wasn't a limited edition item, I don't think I'd repurchase. I'd go for something that would work better for an everyday look. Because all my local department stores (and MACs website) were sold out, I bought mine on eBay at a significant markup, but this normally retails for $23.50, like the other mineralized blushes. This definitely looks "spring-y"!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Espresso
BLoNdeGLaM 2/23/2012 3:46:00 PM
Mmmm Espresso! I LOVE the name of this shadow! :) I haven't had the courage to use this as an all over lid color as it's fairly dark and very matte. I wear this occasionally on my outer v along with a beautiful gold, bronze, peach or lighter brown. I bought this for $15 at the MAC counter in my local Dillards. Probably would not repurchase, as it will take me years to hit pan. The amount of product vs. the small amount you need per use due to its excellent pigmentation will make Espresso last forever!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Naked Space lipglass - Neo Sci-Fi
BLoNdeGLaM 2/22/2012 8:07:00 PM
Naked Space is a warm nude with a little shimmer. It applies pretty sheer and streaky at first, but can be built up to a opaque, polished look with a couple layers. This product has a distinct smell, I can't quite describe it, but I wouldn't consider it pleasant. Average wear time. I may repurchase this in the future, but plan to try some other colors in the Lipglass line first.

Blush -MAC - Dame
BLoNdeGLaM 2/14/2012 1:29:00 PM
Dame is an understated cool-toned, medium pink on my NC25 skin. It gives a soft, healthy glow to my cheeks. It applies very sheer and takes several layers to get a color even remotely similar to the color in the pan. If you're looking for a statement blush, skip this one. Dame creates a very natural (but very beautiful) look. As with the other six (and counting) MAC blushes I own, this has excellent staying power on me and I would definitely repurchase when I get low, which will no doubt be a very long time from now! :) Oh yeah, this was $20 at my local MAC counter, which I didn't mind forking over as MAC creates excellent products!

Fragrances -Calvin Klein - CK One
BLoNdeGLaM 2/14/2012 1:12:00 PM
Just got this, and, in my opinion, it smells as if I just got done making a limeade using fresh limes (which I do not mind). CK One is a very light and soft scent if you walk into the mist after spraying into the air. Multiple sprays or dousing your skin or clothes with it would absolutely be overkill, probably induce a nasty headache and be very offensive to those around you. Definitely smells like summer in a bottle. Both the bottle and scent could appeal to either sex. Staying power seems to pretty decent. Overall, a good, simple, everyday fragrance. I payed approximately $20 for a 1.7 ounce bottle online, so it is reasonably priced. I do not believe I would repurchase again because I will be ready to try something new by the end of this bottle and it just doesn't give me that "Wow!! This is AMAZING!!" feeling.

Blush -MAC - Harmony
BLoNdeGLaM 2/2/2012 7:43:00 PM
I had originally intended to buy MACs Cubic, but the makeup artist at Dillard's suggested Harmony for my NC25 skin instead. So thankful she did and that I now have this amazing color in my collection! I love that, even though I use it as a blush (not bronzer), it brightens my entire face and gives the illusion that I have a great sun-kissed glow. I also love how versatile this product is; it goes with ANY look, no need to coordinate with eye makeup. On me, this fades JUST A BIT throughout the day, but it is still very obvious that I am wearing it by evening time, so no biggie. I actually get excited to wear this blush because it makes me feel tanned and pretty! :) I paid $19-something for Harmony and would have no hesitation with purchasing again.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear
BLoNdeGLaM 10/24/2011 10:09:00 PM
I liked pretty much everything about this foundation...except for the fact that it broke my face out. Loved the coverage, staying power, and how well Linen matched my skintone, but having pimples on my face is NOT an option no matter how good the product makes me look. It is also pretty pricey ($37-something with tax). I took it back to Dillards today and will never repurchase.

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush - Dainty
BLoNdeGLaM 9/16/2011 1:04:00 PM
I just bought this yesterday, today is my first day to wear it and I'm already in love!! I own Gentle, Gleeful and Warm Soul (other mineralize blushes from MAC) and this is by far the most natural-looking shade on my NC25 skin. It gives a nice, noticeable flush to my cheeks while still looking VERY subtle and natural. It makes me feel so pretty and girlie. By looking at the color in the packaging, I was afraid it was going to be too "bubblegum pink" on me but am very pleasantly surprised by the results. After tax, this was $24-something, but with such little amount of product needed per use, this will last probably 2 years, so I consider the price to be very reasonable. I would absolutely purchase this baby again! So happy with it!!

Blush -MAC - Gleeful
BLoNdeGLaM 8/20/2011 3:40:00 PM
I loved Gentle and Warm Soul from the mineralized line so much that I had to have this one too! I'm an NC25 and Gleeful is VERY flattering and wearable when applied with a light hand. Over-application is easily remedied with a layer of powder over it to buff it out and tone it down a little bit. I paid $23 for this at the MAC counter in Dillard's, but when you consider how long this will last with its high-end quality and excellent pigmentation, the price is fairly reasonable. Even though it will probably take me 1-2 years to finish my first one, I would still purchase again when I run out. Love it :)

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Deluxe Eyeshadow - Ruthless
BLoNdeGLaM 6/19/2011 7:20:00 PM
I love the NAME of this shadow, but the color payoff is something else. I have the Naked and Deluxe palettes, and 33 individual UD shadows and this is by far the worse color payoff of ANY of them hands down. I'm as pale as they come and it's barely visible on me. I was hoping for something similar to Maui Wowie (minus the glitter), but I'm taking this back and getting something much more worthy of the Urban Decay name!

Polishes -Sinful - Fly Away
BLoNdeGLaM 6/15/2011 9:08:00 PM
I love bright, "loud" colors. IMO, this is a beautiful electric blue. 95% of the polishes in my extensive collection are Sinful Colors and I am consistantly 100% satisfied in every way with all of them. Any chipping that occurs is usually due to my negligence. The quality and color selection is quite impressive cosidering these are regularly $2 (and frequently on sale 2/$3) at Walgreens. I absolutely love this color and think it would look amazing poolside during the summer! A definite repurchase.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Deluxe Eyeshadow - Fishnet
BLoNdeGLaM 3/19/2011 6:11:00 PM
Fishnet is a stunning pinkish-purple with blue undertones. I don't know if I could pull this off alone with my blonde hair and fair complexion. My favorite way to wear it is with UD's Deluxe Eyeshadow in Scratch as a wash and Fishnet in the crease. It makes for a beautiful hot pink eye for the night or weekend. I'm so devoted to Urban Decay...all of their eyeshadows are top quality and so worth the price. I always apply UDPP and my shadow stays looking fresh and crease free ALL day long. I got this in my Deluxe palette and the only reason I wouldn't buy the full size is because I simply don't reach for it that often and I think money would be better spent for something that's more versatile and "everyday".

Eye Shadow -MAC - Winkle
BLoNdeGLaM 3/12/2011 2:51:00 PM
I'm an Urban Decay girl, but I have to admit, I freaking LOVE Winkle!! It's a cornflower/periwinkle (hence the name) blue. I strictly use it as an unexpected pop of color on my bottom lash line while wearing a neutral on my lid. It's so beautiful, so spring-y and makes my brown eyes look amazing! I apply UDPP before lining my eyes with this and it wears all day long and looks fresh. I bought mine for $14.50 at the MAC counter in my local Dillards and would most definitely repurchase when I get low!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Deluxe Eyeshadow - Shag
BLoNdeGLaM 3/5/2011 6:26:00 PM
Shag is a light bronze/copper and SO pretty!! I love it! This is my favorite color from the Deluxe palette. It has this lustrous shimmer about it that just draws me in. I love how it makes the green in my eyes pop and is a light neutral (but not boring). It's a perfect shade for summer with a sun-kissed glow or a good bronzer on your face. I don't have UD's Baked, but this seems to be pretty much the same color. I like the packaging of the Deluxe shadows better because each one has their own unique lid (and a small mirror for on-the-go touch-ups). I'm sure there are hundreds of other shadows in this color that are much cheaper, but I'm 100% devoted to UD because they're animal friendly and have top-quality makeup, so I WILL be buying the full size for $18 when my Deluxe palette gets low!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - HOTPANTS Eyeshadow
BLoNdeGLaM 3/2/2011 7:38:00 PM
Hotpants is definitely a bubblegum pink with shimmer. It's in my top 10 of my favorite Urban Decay shades. When I first apply it in the morning, it starts off as really "in-you-face", almost bright neon-looking pink, but after a couple hours, it fades a little bit to work very well with my complexion. I always feel very girlie wearing this. It's a pretty sheer shadow to start off with, so it does fade gradually on me, but never creases. I bought this for $17 at Ulta. My absolute favorite way to wear this is with Purple Haze in the crease. I'd repurchase as it's a perfect color for those low-key days.
