At last a tinted moisturizer that isn't yellow-based! Give us pinky gals a break, ladies - We need TMs too.. The Fair/Light is perfect for fair, cool-toned skin.. LM, Clinique, Estee Lauder, all too yellow.. And this is light and dewy, not mask-like when it dries. Thanks, CG!
Tinted Moisturizer -Cover Girl - CG Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer Fair to Light

Well, there ARE some of us ladies who want the pinkish base in the fair-light tint that has several negative comments here. It suits my pale skin exactly, while all the fancy brands - LM, Estee Lauder, etc. are way too yellow and I look jaundiced when I put them on. So... each to her own, and my vote goes to Cover Girl CG Smoother! Please don't ever discontinue this shade... Love the sheer natural look it gives. Also good for pale skin: Aveda Inner Light TM in Aspen - more in the yellow range but not overly so.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Glosswear for Lips- Tenderheart

I went and bought this shade - Tenderheart - after reading the review below - "like my lips only better". She is absolutely right. It looks very natural - not too pink, not too beige, not too anything - perfect for my small mouth, which can't take heavy colors without looking silly. I hope Clinique keeps this shade forever - If not, I'll have to rent a warehouse and store massive quantities of lipgloss.
Moisturizers -Estee Lauder - Daywear Plus Sheer Tint [DISCONTINUED]

New to Makeup Alley, I'm in the "mature" skin category...and really like the "new and improved" Daywear + tinted moisturizer. The older version was too dark and strangely muddy-looking, but this, in Light, gives a nice glow to my fair, slightly uneven complexion without looking "made up" or too matte. I use it over my regular moisturizer because my skin is dry. Personally I like it better than the acclaimed Laura Mercier TM. Generally, any foundation makes me look like Bette Davis in "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?", so this is a perfect in-between product.
