I am a NW55 gal and this works for me. It is all the the application of the product. I wear this lippie a lot and I always get compliments. I usually wear a neutral eye look with this color.
I am NW55 and I know that I was dead wrong for even trying this blush. When I did a swatch on the back of my hand it was very pigmented and looked as if it would actually show up on my skin tone. Well, it didn't show up the actual color shown but it did give me a kind of coral blush look. It still kind of worked out and wasn't actually a full waste of money, just didn't get the color payoff. I wouldn't buy this blush again, but I would recommend it.
Liquid -Cover Girl - Queen Collection Oil-Free Moisturizing Make-Up
BAGBARBIE 2/21/2011 5:13:00 AM
Just purchased this liquid foundation on Friday. I tested it out Friday night when I got home to see what it would look like. OMG, I love this foundation so much that I went back to Target and purchased the last three tubes left. The color that I purchased was Sheer Expresso in the liquid and the Natural Hue Compact in Sheer Expresso as well, all at my local Target on sale for 3.28 a piece. What a deal! I love the coverage that the liquid provides. I don't like for my facial makeup to look like I walked into a breath of fresh flour. I like natural and this is the product to use if you are looking for the same effect. I know that this Queen Collection is the ish for me because I go to one of those high class beauticians that pull up in her Range, come in the door rocking her Louie or Gucci, and swears by MAC. She knows that I love my MAC SFP and I'll rock that and my Clinique quick. Friday I went to get my hair done and while i was sitting in her chair she tells me that my face look so smooth and asked what was I wearing. When I told her the CGQC she could not believe me. She advised that it looked better than my MAC SFP. So for me it's a keeper!
I went to Target the other day and went over to the makeup section and spotted the Covergirl Queen collection items with orange tags. The liquid and cream to powder were marked down to 2.78 and the concealer was 1.94. I was a little skeptical on the liquid foundation so i bought the natural hue in sheer expresso. This is the best cream to powder foundation that i have ever worn. I am N9 in MAC studio fix powder, NW50 in Studio fix fluid, Clinique Perfectly Real compact in 146N, MAC MSF in deep dark, Iman Stick Foundation in Earth 6, and Revlon Colorstay in Cappuccino. I do get a little oily around the nose area but nothing a little blot here and and a blot there can't cure. I'm telling you give it a try hopefully you will like it just as much as i did. *UPDATE* I still love this product!
love it...i polish my nails with the color white by NYC and then apply Starry Silver over top. It be the bizness.
Powder -Clinique - Perfectly Real Compact Powder Foundation

So, I've finally decided to go out and buy this product. Reason why...I was watching a friendly youtuber JusLivin who's skin always look beautiful in all her videos. One of her videos she mentioned that she doesn't wear foundation and that she only wears Perfectly Real Powder and Almost Powder by Clinique. So I sent her a message and asked for a person trying Clinique products for the first time which would you prefer. She advised the PRCPF...I went the next day and people when I tell you I did not turn orange after wearing it for 12hour day(those are my working hours) I mean I stayed cute faced all day. It seems to even out my complexion and give me that pretty girl glow. I plan on trying the Almost Powder eventually but for now I'll stick with the PRCPF. Now before I bought the PRCPF I was using MSF in Deep Dark by MAC with my Select cover up in NW50 and I prefer my Clinique over the Deep Dark Skinfinish. The Skinfinish seems to crease in my laugh lines and that thing ain't cute...lol
This product is the best thing jumping since peanut butter and jelly. I started using this product back in 2002 faithfully up until 2009. In 2008 I was dippin in Ambi which worked pretty good for a couple of months and then I started to fell those dry patches around my mouth area. I went and bought Aveeno, it worked ok for about 4 or 5 weeks. I then tried the Aveeno Oil Lotion and that dried my face even more. Went back to WalMart and bought my jar of Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and my face looks well hydrated. Love the price and the packaging...I get a whole lot for $11. I'm not switching anymore...as the old folks would say: If it ain't broke don't fix it!
Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit

So I finally went out and brought this product that everyone was raving about on youtube. I have dark dry pigmented lips and this balm makes my lips feel moist. My lipstick glides on so much smoother than before. I use NYX round lipsticks and they are usually chalky dry looking but I now apply my lip balm and then my lipstick. The overall look is beautiful and even. Honestly ladies, I really bought this balm for the cute little packaging and it has turned out to be a smooth operator...lol
I always wanted to apply liner to my top eyelid but just didn't know how without making a complete mess. I picked up this eyeliner pen by browsing the makeup section in my local Target. I took it home and tried it and was blown away by my perfect line. My hands are not sturdy enough for the regular liquid liners but this pen is my makeup essential sent from the Makeup Fairy. Ask me about the smell and I wouldn't be able to tell you because I don't need to know what it smells like, I just need to know what this product can do. I would purchase over and over. I wish that Target sold this product in blue but it only sells them in black and brown. I literally by 10 at a time just in case.
L.O.V.E this MAC product, it is my everyday go to product. I use the fix before applying my MSF in Deep Dark then blend and woohoo I get the perfect look. When I start to feel the oil coming through on my face, I just squirt squirt and again, woohoo the shine disappears. The price is wonderful for what this product is capable of. I will buy again and again.
I adore the MAC select cover up, I am NW45. This product conceals the dark circles around my eyes and mouth. It acts as a foundation as well. Let me tell you how I apply the select cover up. I apply a small amount under my eyes and apply dots of the product on each side of my mouth and pat them in. I then spray my fix plus on my face and begin to apply my MAC Skinfinish in deep dark all over. After I apply my skinfinish I go back and apply more select cover up under my eye area. The select cover up being blended with the skinfinish gives a matte look as if I have applied foundation and I love it. For only 16 dollars it lasts a long time and goes a long way. The packaging is wonderful because you squeeze out the amount you want and it is not like a whole lot of the product comes out at once.
Where do I begin...Let's start with the shade I chose. Well, I bought the Iman Foundation Stick in Earth 6 when I believe I am Earth 3 or 4. I went to imancosmetics.com and matched it with my MAC NW50 at the time. Now the MAC consultant tells me I am an NW45. The Earth 6 made me look just a little ashy and it glided on very dry. So, the trick that I developed was to apply the Earth 6 to my TZone and spray my MAC Fix on that area and blend. The Fix Plus makes the Iman stick glide on smooth and creamy. On my outter face I use my MSF fluid in NW45 and it gives me a brillant finish.
I use Revlon Colorstay in Mahagony as a medium to full coverage. I use my MSF powder to set the Colorstay. It gives me a nice little glow and yes I will buy this product again. The packaging would be a better if it came with a pump. Also, it dries very quick so you have to apply this product in sections and blend very quick to avoid streaks.
This is like my favorite pinkish color lipstick to wear alone with no liner. If I choose to wear a lip liner I usually use the NYX lip liner in Natural. I apply the natural lip liner all over the lip to give a longer stay power. I also apply NYX gloss in Natural over top of the Airy Fairy. Will buy again...woohoo! Also, try a champagne eyeshadow with a blue crease and blend. Use a pinky eyeshadow in the tear area.
Blush -E.L.F. - All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade
BAGBARBIE 7/14/2010 2:49:00 AM
I use this product all over...on my eyes, cheeks, and lips. It be the bizness and I get alot of compliments from this color stick. Try using the color stick in pink lemonade all over the eye with a black eyeshadow starting from the outter eye area dragging the black eyeshadow into the crease and then just blend it upward. Use a white eye color in the tear area of your eye and a neutral highlight. The end result is amazing and you'll be a hit.
