Powder -MAC - Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

Nice texture smooths out skin tone and covers pretty well. I got in Nc-30 and next time,I think I can go a tad darker. I use it without powder since my skin is dry and my skin looks almost flawless, with that J.Lo glow. I would repurchase but maybe in NC-35

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

Eh doesn't suit my NC30-35 coloring. It is too pink and too sheer for me. I had to apply alot to make it show up. Then when it did show up, it looked kinda too glowy? or sparkly for me. I bought the NARS blush in Deep throat instead. It has more peachier tones and it has been the only blush I wear now. So pretty on!

Palettes -Mary Kay - Enchanted Garden Color Collection
rated 4 of 5

This LE palette has some of the best colors out there for us warm toned folks. In this cute floral decorated palette. It comes with 3 eyeshadows natural light (champagne color), cinnamon shine (brownish with hint of red, enchanted ivy (mossy green), one cream to powder cheek color (Russet Bloom, a dark peachy brown that goes on sheer) and 2 lipsticks pink petal medium brown pink creme) and vintage rose(shimmer). One dual tipped eyeshadow brush and one lip color brush. My only complaint are the brushes, the eyeshadow brush and the lipcolor brush are really stiff and make it hard to apply. I think next time I wear it I will use my own brushes. The colors are georgous and cordinate well. You can see a pic on marykay.com. Retails for $35. For reference I am AAB GGG MMM NC30-35

Eye Shadow -Milani - Java Bean (18)
rated 5 of 5

Java bean is my favorite Milani eyeshadow. I would describe it as a shimmery plummy brown. It gives the best subtle smoky eye look. I use peachy peach underneath and some liquid eyeliner on my lashlinem and of course black eyeshadow and well curled eyelashes. My eyes just POP with this combo, F.Y.I NC 30-35 skin, creaseless asian eyes, dark brown hair with highlights, medium-light brown eyes.

I love the blushes and the eyeshadows because they do not streak or crease and look really natural The foundations cover without much effort but can be drying to dry skin types ( me)

Eh way too dramatic for my sparse short asian eyelashes. I perfer a softer look, but my friend that has long beautiful eyelashes swears by this stuff.

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

My first introduction to Nars blushes. Although I loved the texture and the glow. It took alot for it to show up and it was a little too pink for my NC 30-35 complexion. I bought Deep throat that has more peach and that has become my staple blush.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shiseido - Eyelash Curler
rated 5 of 5

Best eyelash curler I ever tried period!! I used to have to use the heated ones to set my curl but the shiseido one just curls it with no effort and last all day. I am in love.. Also the price was comparable to drugstore prices. Can't beat that!

Mascara -Victoria's Secret - Very Sexy Lashes - Intensifying Mascara

Not the worst mascara I have tried but not the best. I swear I had to put like 10 coats of mascara on to even look like I had some thickness to it. It did not clump too badly and held a curl after I had used my heated eyelash curler. But my lashes felt hard and brittle, I guess that is because once you apply it it dries so fast. Would not repurchase because I found my HOLY GRAIL ! Max factor lash perfection :)

Mascara -Max Factor - Lash Perfection

Rave! I usually stay away from drug store mascaras because with the majority of them I have racoon eyes by the end of the day. Not with this one. I love how it separates, defines, thickens, lengthens, and never smears under my eyes. Also the best mascara even next to high end mascaras that holds a curl ALL day! That is the most important thing for my straight asian downward pointed lashes. Will buy again, limited edition now but will be available after the holidays... (insider secret I picked up since I work as a BA at Walgreens)

Rave, Rave, Rave!!!Just got this from ebay with the brush and love it. I got it in espresso and it is a perfect color. I line my creaseless asian eyes in a breeze and dont have to tug and pull with pencil liners. Stays put all day even when I line under my eyes. So bye bye MK sable eyeliner! Def. a holy grail IMO

Hair Color -Revlon - Colorsilk
rated 3 of 5
AzngloW411 8/20/2005 12:29:00 PM

I generally don't use drugstore colors, because my mom is a hairstylist and usually colors it but she lives 2 hrs. away. SO I decided to try this on a whim. I tried the mahagony brown. Color was rich dark brown with warm reddish undertones and my hair felt softer than before. Truly lives up to it's name Colorsilk. I probably won't repurchase because my hair is much lighter now and have to use a salon haircolor. OH yeah FYI: its dirt cheap too.Like 2.99-3.99.

NOT for dry skin. I used this stuff and it looked like a mask after while. But it seriously does stay put. Great for oiler complexions! But I def. won't repurchase though
