Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Liquiline Blast in Blackfire
AuNatural716 12/21/2012 9:49:00 PM
Awesome eyeliner, I've tried L'Oreal, MAC, Prestige, Wet n Wild, etc. And this is the best of all of them!! Contains the same ingredients as the Urban Decay 24/7, and causes no eye irritation whatsoever, which is a winner for me. It's a very dark black, which I love, and goes great in the waterline. So glad this product exists because I read product labels for ingredients and this definitely has a list that is perfect for sensitive eyes, and my original quest for a good liner for sensitive eyes came about when I was getting irritated by the eyeliner I was using. I hope CG always keeps this!

Brows -E.L.F. - Eyebrow Kit
AuNatural716 12/9/2012 11:12:00 PM
Wow can't believe I haven't done a review on this--this product is amazing!! I can't live without it...It makes my brows look awesome and matches my dark hair well in the dark brown color! I've tried a few other brow options, like Wet n Wild pencil which can be a tad too off-color sometimes, Mary Kay brow pencil which was too light, and the Wet n Wild brow kit and this blows all of them out of the water! Definitely a must-have now in my makeup collection and this lasts forever so I'm super glad I bought it for only $3.

Cleansers -L'Oreal - Youth Regenerating Skincare Foaming Gel Cleanser
AuNatural716 12/9/2012 11:06:00 PM
Love this cleanser! Since using it, I have gotten comments on how my skin looks clearer and I notice my pores are definitely more invisible. Though this does have a strong fragrance (I prefer frag-free facial products), I find it does not linger and is worth the results. My skin is looking smoother and this helps to clean off all remaining makeup everywhere, though I recommend an initial makeup remover so that this serves more as a salicylic acid treatment cleanser. The dispenser pump is also really convenient because it gives off a good amount of the product and basically I have really grown to enjoy cleaning my face at night with this product. I initially bought this because it was one of the only salicylic gel cleansers at drugstores that did not contain irritating botanicals (Neutrogena) and/or awful preservatives, and rather it is just a bunch of simple ingredients. Because of this, the salicylic acid is mild enough that my face isnt left red and irritated, and it just overall does the job well. UPDATE: Spoke too soon about this of course...after a week's use I developed itchy welts on my lower jawline along with some random eczema spots. Too bad b/c I got sucha clear smooth forehead and nose with this products, but for some reason my skin gets to a point of not tolerating SA products...Sad day.

Tinted Moisturizer -Smashbox - Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15
AuNatural716 11/20/2012 9:59:00 PM
This product is just bad news for anyone who has oily skin in need of coverage for acne/marks. I am definitely someone who leans towards more of a dewy look for makeup, which is why my interest was struck by this, however, it does not sink in or look like real skin at all. Instead it just sits on top like tinted grease and as a result it provides no coverage. I originally got drawn to this over other foundations because I am allergic/reactive to titanium dioxide so the spf being octoxinate (sp?) and zinc oxide drew me in bc those are A-OK with my skin. However it just useless and I ended up returning it after one trial, which sucks b/c I return a lot of things to Ulta so this was just another one. Oh well, just hope they stop formulatings with TiO for us sensitive people (it gives me a consistent pimply rash whenever I use makeup with it).

Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Volumizing Conditioner
AuNatural716 11/20/2012 9:45:00 PM
Smells awesome, conditions well--it has a very milky consistency so it just sinks right into your hair, and it does actually volumize things up! However, just wasn't a spectacular product for me because my dry hair needs more moisture. I actually would repurchase considering only the smell and cooling milky texture just because it was kind of therapeutic in the shower, but I'd more likely use it up as a shave gel like I did before. Nonetheless, a good product for those who are aiming to volumize but not moisturize as much.

Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Volumizing Shampoo
AuNatural716 11/20/2012 9:42:00 PM
Smells awesome but this is too drying for my already dry hair, so I quit using it. I find that gel cleansers are best for those with very oily scalps and drying mine out even more sure just makes my hair fall out by the multiples! So sad news, but nonetheless, I did find it volumized a tad and probably does well for people with fine hair and an oily scalp.

Conditioner -Suave - Keratin Infusion Color Care Conditioner
AuNatural716 11/13/2012 11:10:00 PM
Wow I'm so surprised at all the bad reviews on this product b/c it is just AMAZING in my opinion! After only a couple of uses, my dry damaged hair became soft, silky, and smooth!! My frizzies all over went down and now my hair actually has shine to it! I think this conditioner is better suited for dry hair, not normal, but because it is not advertised correctly people expect something otherwise....but yeah I love this stuff and I guess unlike the majority I actually like the perfumy scent! I've gotten a few compliments about how my hair smells good since using this conditioner, and I just plan to buy this forever! I even caught myself just feeling my hair up just to feel how soft and silky it is! I haven't found anything compareable that doesn't make my hair feel like straw and I've tried the rest of the Suave line conditioners (humectant, naturals, damage therapy, volume, etc), head and shoulders soft and silky, Finesse, everything drugstore basically, etc. and nothing has given me results like this! So if you have dry hair, definitely give this stuff a try!

Liquid -Lancome - Teint Idole ULTRA [DISCONTINUED]
AuNatural716 11/13/2012 11:04:00 PM
Welp, tried a couple of sample bottles of this at different times in my life before I went ahead and splurged the $50 thinking I found some makeup that FINALLY didn't irritate my skin--but after 2 weeks of use I found myself with many more random pimples in places I don't normally break out and so I definitely returned it. I never tried the old formula so I don't know about that, but I wish I could figure out what in this broke me out in the welts. I'm thinking either the Nylon-12 or whatever "perlite" is....Otherwise, I liked this foundation for it's coverage and finish etc, but still it ended up just being a loss. Why oh why must companies reformulate everything?! Wish I could've tried the old stuff.

Gels/Soaps -Jergens - Jergens Bar Soap - White
AuNatural716 9/23/2012 2:40:00 PM
Bought this in a 3 pack at Dollar Tree after realizing that using Dove bar soap for my entire life might have actually been drying out my skin and clogging it up at the same time--this stuff is way better than Dove!! My sensitive allergy-prone skin is definitely soo much softer and I have less issues with ingrown hairs and razor bumps! The smell is nice and simple and what initially caught my eye towards this product is the short basic ingredients list, which I find work better for me in general when it comes to products, so I'm looking into trying this on my face even just to see that effect...A great buy and will definitely continue purchasing!!

Shampoo -Head and Shoulders - Smooth and Silky 2 in 1
AuNatural716 9/23/2012 2:35:00 PM
I use this 2-in-1 as my shampoo and then follow with a conditioner to make sure not to overdry my already-dry hair, and it really really helps by working as a "moisturizing" shampoo! I just quit using an assortment of Dove shampoo (which although it cleaned my hair well, DRIED my hair out to nothing but straw after a few months use) and Suave products, with literally a constant fall-out of tumbleweed on my poor head! My hair was awful and in desperation I bought so many other shampoos and conditioners but nothing helped until I found this! Since buying this 1.5-2 weeks ago, my hair has regained its former silkiness, softness, and most importantly hydrated look/touch. I really cannot believe the difference and it still works well in cleaning out the product buildup in my hair while not overdrying any of it! I use this with Suave Volumizing conditioner for now b/c that is what I have currently and already bought the conditioner version of this 2-in-1 b/c the SMELL IS AMAZING!!!! I can't even explain it but it is awesome and totally wakes me up in the early morning, so definitely look into trying this bc you might be actually wreaking your own havoc on your hair without realizing it.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - one-step gentle cleanser
AuNatural716 9/23/2012 2:28:00 PM
I'm surprised there are any bad reviews to this product at all, bc as someone with oily sensitive, super allergy-prone skin, this has been a savior for my makeup removing efforts!!! I have tried a million makeup remover and baby wipes along with oils to remove makeup, and have always stayed broken out because of this...then when I randomly switched to this on a limb, the breakouts and blackheads galore have since been minimizing!! I make sure to wash with another cleanser after this anyway b/c usually i need to use some salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide to kinda treat my skin, but this serves as an excellent makeup remover b/c you can even see the makeup washing down the drain as you rinse your face! Totally a fun end-of-the-night sighting to know you're finally getting your face really clean and I'm so glad I found this product!

Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Free and Clear Liquid Cleanser
AuNatural716 9/23/2012 2:25:00 PM
LOVE THIS STUFF! I've searched EVERYwhere both high and low for a gentle cleanser for my super sensitive skin...I've tried tons of things out there, including Purpose (both bar and liquid), all sorts of baby wash, Simple brand, Neutrogena Ultra gentle, Boots Expert Sensitive, etc and everything was too drying or had irritating ingredients or fragrance in it that ended up breaking out my fragile skin. Then I bought this at a local drug and health foods store in my hometown as a last resort to my efforts and boy am I happy! This cleans well but is gentle, does not cause itching or irritation after use, and has helped clear my skin up some as well!! It's great that it is free of all potential allergens we have in cosmetics and skincare products everywhere nowadays, and I will def continue to buy this and hope others will realize their skin issues can be moreover resolved by switching to gentle products like this one! HG status over here!

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes
AuNatural716 9/1/2012 11:52:00 AM
omg these were awful!! I had been wary that these might end up being too greasy for my face because as an ingredient-list-scavenger, I have found that palmimates usually clog me up and I avoid them in result. But I decided to try these after a friend recced them and after seeing how popular they were everywhere so I tried them out...well 3-4 days later, I got huge deep breakouts where I never even break out at all!! I mean, I had quite a monster form in between my eyebrows and I had a scatter of big red zits all located on my upper lip!! I immediately knew it was the wipe b/c it was the only thing I changed in my routine and I wiped it on my upper lip but probably forgot to wash my upper lip off with face cleanser b/c I ALWAYS wash off wipe residue. Nonetheless, still got a big honker on my forhead where I washed this off and overall my face felt SO BUMPY all the while I used this, so that was depressing. I have since went back to the big cosmetic no-no of using unscented baby wipes to remove makeup and ever since then my face has cleared up and healed over completely!!

Cleansers -Olay - Daily Facials Express- Sensitive Skin
AuNatural716 9/1/2012 11:46:00 AM
Tried this after the Olay Clean & Mild wipes were too harsh...well these were only a tad less harsh. For some reason both these types of Olay wipes seem to burn my eyeballs even when I don't get them anywhere near my eyes. And to think you're wiping that on your face??! EESH! Not to mention that my skin formed little irritation bumps all over during the week of travel that I used these, and this happened to someone who ALWAYS washes her face after using a wipe. I only tried finding a makeup remover wipe brand to use after I read an article that using baby wipes is a big cosmetic no-no because they weren't designed for your face, but after trying Olay, Neutrogena, and Simple makeup wipes, I have gone back to using Target brand unscented baby wipes and since then my random skin breakouts have completely cleared up!! No burning, no irritation, no breakouts and super cheap for a huge pack--give em a try!

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Foaming Cleanser
AuNatural716 8/8/2012 10:33:00 PM
This cleanser is aimed towards sensitive-skinned individuals like me, but I found this to have such a harsh/strong/almost cologne-like fragrance that it ruined the "sensitive skin" aim and made this slightly harsh in that way. The cleanser itself seemed alright but it was a little hard to foam up at first and it is pretty easy to use too much. For the most part this cleanser seemed too gentle to really remove grime and makeup etc, so I am trying out other things and hope Neutrogena realizes that they should remove fragrance from their so-called "gentle" products.
