Lip Gloss -Milani - Crystal Gloss- Sheer Dark Honey #24
Ashes83 5/9/2013 12:47:00 AM
So far so good. It works well on my two toned lips ( my bottom lip is a bit lighter than my top one). It is a pretty sheer purple, with shimmer. I like the Milani crystal glosses that I have tried so far because of the shimmer- its not too much and I cant feel them. The last thing I need is a lip gloss exfoliating my lips and leaving them lookin' crusty. If you are darker skinned, alone it my show up as a clear gloss, but its still pretty. It is, somehow, dark enough to tone down a vivid lipstick, if you so choose. Hope this helps!

Lip Gloss -Milani - Crystal Gloss Summer Baby

I like the lipgloss. It's very sheer, but its long lasting. the peachy pink and gold flecks go great with my warm undertones. It is not a stand alone lip gloss if you are, ahem, Highly pigmented, I suppose? However, my bottom lip is a few tones lighter than my top, and the peachy pink in the gloss help minimize that. I think this gloss would be excellent to layer over coral, peach, or pink lipsticks. I do wish there was more in the tube, but it is pretty thick, so perhaps the size isn't a big deal. I shelled out about 5 and a half bucks for this thingy, so you bet your fur that I'm gonna use all of it, lol.

Palettes -Hard Candy - Top Ten Eyeshadow Palettes

I love this product! I have the Naturally Gorgeous Palette, with the golds and browns, because I A natural eye and bold lip. My colors were not chalky, but they went on smoothly. Yes they do take more than one swipe to get a LOT of color, but that's fine for me because I would rather build up my color, instead of getting a bunch on the first swipe. The best thing for me besides the color and packaging is the price. At my walmart they were only six bucks. I like to look good, but I love a bargain, so it's win win for me.

Treatments -AMBI - Fade Cream

this product worked for me, but i did not use as directed. first, i only put it directly on the spots, and did not rub into skin completely. i also only used at night, so i could wash off any oily residue in the morning. I DO NOT use a moisturizer on the spots where i use the fade cream and i give myself a few nights off here and there. it probably makes the spots fade slower, but this cream contains hydroquinone, which is a very strong chemical, even at only 2%. i notice that a lot of people in the reviews state that it made them break out, and the hydroquinone may be the case, especially if you broke out with cystic pimples. for those with sensitve skin, may i suggest skipping the chemicals, and spot treating with the juice of a fresh lemon? this takes longer, but it's natural and it works. Take Care of yourselves.

Cleansers -Mario Badescu - Enzyme Cleansing Gel

i have combination skin with an oily tzone, and dry spots on the cheeks and around the mouth. cetaphil did nothing for my oily spots, and harsher things reaked havoc on my dry spots. this cleanser is perfect for me because the grapefruit helps my oily spots and the gel, non-foaming formula helps with the dry spots. i have not had my usual humongoid menstrual zits in a long time, and my complexion is glowing. i find that my skin feels softer if i rinse with cool water. a pea sized amount does the trick, but in the summer i may go overboard, since the gel is so cool.

Moisturizers -Garnier - Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream

when i first bough this product, i loved it, i really did. my skin is quite oily in some spots but can get really dry in other spots. but after a using it a while, i started to get these little bumps, which were not quite pimples but were enough for me to notice. when i stopped using it, however, it only took about 2 to 3 days for my skin to clear up. i also noticed that at times it could over moisturize. so i would not recommend this for people with really sensitve skin.
