Cleansers -DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil

The packaging could use a little work, maybe in the design department, bc I like cute girly packaging! lol but the product is so amazing I can forgive them. I have dry skin, so the Olive oil in here helps with dryness and sometimes I might even let this sink it a bit. Doesnt hurt anything! Usage: When I wear full face makeup, I erase all eye makeup first, excluding eyebrows. THen I take one big pump of this and massage into face. I do cheeks first, then everywhere else, even eyebrows. With warm water I rinse hands and with a little more water I massage and rinse oil off at the same time. For the price, this is a great deal, and it lasts a very long time, bc you dont need a lot of it in one use. I used MAC's removers and other oils, but they all irritate my skin, or is too pricey for me to want to buy more of it. I recommend this to anyone, with dry skin, normal skin, a lot of makeup, little makeup, whatever! It's great all around

Brows -NYX - Auto eyebrow pencil in Black
Ashash00 12/4/2012 7:51:00 PM
My go-to eyebrow fixer upper! I'm so sad that none of the stores nearby carries NYX. Well actually I'm kinda glad bc if there were stores with NYX I'd probably be broke from shoppingh there every day. lol The application is smooth, light color, buildable. I love the tool at the end. Good quality, bc the brush holds up nicely and transfers the color really well onto the other parts of the brow. Usage: I usually do 4-5 big swipes of color where I need it, then use the brush back and forth until the color is all blended. I bought this for really cheap, cant remember exactly how much, and it was so worth it! The black color is not unnatural, like most people would think.

Liquid -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20

There are so many good reviews on this as people's winter makeup choice so I bought one.....and was really disappointed. I have dry skin, even my nose can get dry sometimes! But as I have acne scars, I want to wear light foundation at least. This gives a nice look when first applied, but as the day goes on, like maybe 2-3 hours, it starts breaking apart on my face. There are patches of foundation here and there, and dry patches are accentuated. The color selection isn't great either, bc I have yellow /warm undertones, but everything they offer with yellow warm undertones is way TOO dark for me. I'm maybe NC 15-20, mostly 20 in the summer... so idk what to do. I wanted to like this so badly, bc I can't buy a crazy high end foundation. Packaging: sucks. especially for me, with acne prone skin, this is TERRIBLE. HUGE spout where too much product pours out of, and since I can't put it back in like other people do, I just wipe it away and throw it out. Overall, for $9-13 for one thing, I would not repurchase.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara
Ashash00 12/4/2012 7:41:00 PM
This does the job. I have the washable formula, and it really stays put, which wasn't what I expected. I expected at least some smearing, some running. But even when it rained outside, it just stayed put. For the price $15-16, I think this is a worthy mascara, and compared to Covergirl or Maybelline mascaras that work not too great and are still $7-9, I'd rather get this any day. Application: the wand is good to reach corners and inner eye as well, bc it's not too wide or fat. It applies smoothly and dries relatively fast. To remove I run warm water over my eyes for about 5 seconds, and use thumb and middle finger to gently tap at eyelashes. No tugging or scraping involved. Which is what I'm looking for. Even when I'm out on the town, clubbing, bar hopping etc, this stays on the whole night. The build of it is natural, though, so don;t expect crazy volume and extreme noticeable black lashes. This lengthens and enhances lashes. I love the clean, natural but beautiful look this gives.

Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover
Ashash00 12/4/2012 7:36:00 PM
My HG that I've always always used was Mary Kay's eye makeup remover, and then when I lost that one I used one from Almay, the wet pads. Compared to those two, THIS ONE IS THE BEST. You can't beat the price, really, bc you get about 5 fluid oz for $5-7. Other makeup removers are half the size, twice the cost. My eyes are very sensitive, to the point where sometimes I can't even where contacts on some days bc my eyes get too watery and red. As I'm wiping my eyes with this though, even though some of it gets in my eyes, it never stings. with my HG MK one, it would sting 1/2 times I use it. usage: shake whole bottle, dampen cotton pad 3-4 times, remove makeup. but during a week when i ran out of cotton pads, I had to use clean toilet paper and it worked just as well. I can't wait to come home and erase my eye makeup, bc it seems like MAGIC when it's being removed! very gentle, fragrance free, non irritating, non drying. I always recommend this to everyone now

BB Cream -MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream
Ashash00 7/29/2012 8:26:00 PM
First, i have combination to dry skin, and really dry in the winter. In the summer i have combination with some oiliness on nose and surrounding area. I've used this as my only foundation for three years now and it's still my HG. when i had acne and still wanted to cover it bc it was so hideous, this didnt make my skin or acne any worse. No.23 shade is good for NC 25-32 Coverage- medium to full. Cover light layer all over and if i wanted more coverage i let it dry. Then i went back in to spot cover my cheeks where the acne marks are worst. For the first 10 minutes it seems too bright even for my skin which was a perfect match for this, but aftrr that it melts and blends into the skin seamlessly! I was really surprised, i didnt know a decently priced product could be this good. Price- $15-$21 around there, but depends on where you get it. I buy mine from a Korean company on Amazon and they always send samples and gifts so it's worth it and from there i pay about $16-$18. Packaging- you get a huge amount 50mL for that price, and the pump makes controlling the amount just awesome. Cleaning the pump is easy too. Ive tried lots of products, high end, drugstore, but even Neutrogena which was my kinda fave foundation is about $12 from the drugstore, but i hated it bc of the pour spout and barely there coverage. Other foundations are really heavy without even the decent coverage, but this is light with a lot better coverage. Smell- it has a nice powdery smell, but you might not like the hint of the smell if it bothers you. Ive had some friends say its too strong. Application- i tried applying this with a dense kabuki but i think applying with my fingers is actually a lot smoother and leaves a better finish! In the winter since i have dry cheeks i was afraid to try this but it doesnt accentuate the dry spots at all. I just put on my normal layer of moisturizer and this glides over. It doesnt bug my eyes or make it water so i put some on my eyelids if theyre looking too vein-y that day. I use this about 5-6 times a week, religiously. And one tube has lasted over a year. And the pump allows me to really squeeze everything out ofit. There might be other foundations and BBs, but i lilke this that much better simply because it's a bit cheaper, lasts longer bc of spreadability, and the pump dispenser, which is great for sensitive acne prone skin bc you want stuff that goes on your face to be clean. Overall, I will continue to use this! Already on my 3rd tube and loving it:)
