Polishes -Zoya - Cassi

I love this color on me! I am about an NW30, neutral to cool toned. I only wear these kinds of colors on my toes as I like sheers for my hands. Two coats is near opaque. On me it is a peachy/light coral color with shimmer. Looks pretty for spring and not over the top or garish. Applied evenly and easily, no streaks and wear time with a base and top coat is well over a week. I would buy this again as I don't own anything like it.

Scrubs -GLAMGLOW - Mud Mask
ArizonaAngel 4/30/2013 1:34:00 AM
Review is for the one in the black jar. Paid almost $20 for a tub the size of an eye cream. Supposed to be tingling and exfoliating....um no. Noticed neither. Basically this is an expensive mask that doesn't do anything more than any other clay mask does. Does my skin look better after? Kind of. But it does after I use something from Queen Helene or the like for a fraction of the price. And those masks don't leave weird pieces of green stuff all over my face and sink. I looked like a head of romaine lettuce exploded all over me. Will I buy this again? No way. Sorry I was suckered into buying it in the first place.

Hair Color -Garnier - Olia
ArizonaAngel 4/25/2013 2:06:00 AM
UPDATED: This has already started fading! I just used this maybe two weeks ago...and I wash my hair every other day! Dropping it from four to two...because the color was great, no damage, great scent and it seems like a decent semi-permanent color. However I will not buy this again. I left my original review intact below. I used the shade 8.13 - champagne blonde. I have been using a similar shade from L'Oreal, 8.5 BB and wanted to try this. First off the application bottle is terrible. Or maybe my fingers are not long enough. I had to use two hands to shake it up. And second the gloves tore on me at the wrist....maybe I have big hands? I don't know. Hope not! I added Red/Gold color correcter to the bottle (about 30 drops) and I started with a Neutral Protein Filler which I left on for 20 minutes. I applied a full head of color since I had not used this before and left it on for 30 minutes. Scent was slightly floral, no harsh smell at all. Thick, stayed on. Once the time was up I did massage my scalp for a minute maybe before rinsing (without water as they suggest) and then hit the shower. It took longer to rinse this out as any other dye I will say. And it felt greasy at that time. End result looked more luminous than other colors I have used I am naturally a level 7 at the highest BTW. Hair was not dry or too dark. It was even and reflective. Beautiful. Like my other dye but shinier, almost highlighted. I did not use the conditioner in the box but my own. It looks like a natural champagne blonde with some lighter bits here and there. Almost reflective. Will I buy it again? Yes. I have way more body and shine than ever...and keep in mind my hair is fine and on the thin side. As always YMMV...but I like this. It gets a four because the packaging is ridiculous! Too much packaging waste with the developer, the gloves are beyond flimsy and the bottle is some strange shape that it was hard to shake it with one hand.

Treatments -Paula's Choice - RESIST Weekly Resurfacing Treatment
ArizonaAngel 3/28/2013 12:49:00 AM
Loved this for a week or two. But then it started to cause cystic acne. I discontinued it, it went away, tried it again and within a week I got two huge bumps on my chin. I am not acne-prone either. I give it a three because it is a good product, just not for me. And also on a whim I put it on my feet one night trying to find a use for it and woke up to soft skin on my feet. It also works good to exfoliate my neck, chest and shoulders. I doubt I would buy again though ~ but glad I found a good use for the rest of it!

Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Original Scent Lotion
ArizonaAngel 3/19/2013 11:02:00 PM
Love this! Kept my skin so smooth all winter long and I love the cherry/almond scent. Fairly inexpensive and easy to find at any store. I will repurchase this again....in fact, I have. A great body lotion for dry skin!

Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Revitalift Miracle Blur
ArizonaAngel 3/17/2013 11:59:00 PM
I love this. I tried out a sample from a magazine and went out and bought it. It reminds me of Clarins Instant Smooth primer but it does way more ~ like it covers my pores so much better. It is thick like the Clarins, maybe a bit more, so that doesn't bother me. It seriously makes my skin look poreless - which has been my issue lately. Fine lines are gone. The scent is minimal to me, kind of like sunscreen (which it has in it). It doesn't feel heavy on my skin and it does fill in lines and just makes my face look refreshed and awake. It also does not accentuate dry patches (which I still have because of the cold weather, ugh). It is kind of expensive for a drugstore product at around $25...but to me it is worth it. No irritation, no breakouts, but I do not have sensitive skin. I will buy this again for sure.

Fragrances -Laura Mercier - L'Heure Magique
ArizonaAngel 2/4/2013 1:21:00 AM
This grew on me. This was a little too floral for me during the summer (not sure why!)....even though I tend to wear heavy scents year round. Black Orchid, Dead Sexy, Prada, etc. However it is a great combination of sexy and feminine....not too powdery, not heavy, not headache-y. It just smells womanly, seductive - but not overpowering. It just smells good, slightly fresh and clean, a bit of spice to mellow it out. I like this for sure. I would rebuy.

Polishes -Zoya - Angel
ArizonaAngel 1/24/2013 10:56:00 PM
Beautiful, cool metallic pink with a hint of lilac and shimmer. Opaque in two coats and looks so delicate, not Barbie pink at all. Wear time is great and doesn't get streaky at all. Love this on my toes - will buy again for sure as I definitely do not have anything like it.

Shampoo -Clairol - Psssssst Instant Spray Shampoo
ArizonaAngel 1/1/2013 11:32:00 PM
So far so good. The scent is tolerable, not horrible but not amazing either. However it DOES work. And I have never had a problem with the nozzle clogging or making my hair greasy, unlike other dry shampoos I have tried. Easy to find, and honestly I love the fact that it reminds me of my childhood. Will buy again. Does the job!

Lips -Yves Saint Laurent - Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm
ArizonaAngel 12/28/2012 11:31:00 PM
I had a Sephora gift card and have been eyeing this for a while so I thought I would just pull the trigger finally. I got Juicy Grapefruit. Now keep in mind I don't like lipstick, or anything super-pigmented. Never have, not sure why. This is a super-super sheer pink, which just gives my lips a slight lighter tint. This is perfect (albeit expensive) for me for every day. Would I buy this shade again? No. Not for 30 bucks. I can get the same look with a bunch of different products. However I love the feel, how it hydrates my lips and the packaging is just gorgeous. Next time I decide to buy one I will get a different shade for sure. But I will buy this product again.

Treatments -Beyond Belief - Vita C Antioxidant Serum
ArizonaAngel 12/28/2012 9:54:00 PM
Excellent product! I had tried a couple other Vitamin C serums and none made much of a difference in my skin. In fact one made my hyperpigmentation look worse. I am on my second bottle with this one right now. I have been using it for about six weeks and it has really made a big difference in the clarity and overall look and feel of my skin. I wear it under moisturizer during the day and will occasionally use it at night. Also adds a boost of hydration which I do need. My melasma spots are almost gone (thanks to this, lactic acid peels and a fade cream). No breakouts or clogged pores. It is around ten bucks at Sally's so easily attainable for me. I will buy this for sure again. The price is great and it actually gave me good results.

Fragrances -Prada - Infusion d'Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue
ArizonaAngel 12/1/2012 12:35:00 AM
I give this a three because I adore Infusion d'Iris. It has been my main day to day fragrance for years. I always have it. I bought this one without testing because I loved the idea of a heavier version with some extra musk and vanilla ~ however this completely let me down. This smells almost exactly like the original on me - it is slightly "sharper" in the beginning but other than that I seriously cannot tell a difference! The bottle is the same as the original but gold, very pretty I will say. Also I find that this does not last as long either. I won't return this because I was almost out of Infusion d'Iris and this is basically the same, however I won't buy this particular one again as it is more expensive and LE. Huge let down for me.

Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Pravana- Pure Light Sulfate-Free Brightening Shampoo for Blonde, Silver or Highlighted Hair
ArizonaAngel 11/28/2012 11:25:00 PM
Amazed. This is hands-down the most pigmented violet shampoo I have ever bought. I have said that before about a couple brands but this blows them away. First off this is pricier at about $20 per 10.1 ounce bottle. And it is liquidy. It isn't as thick as most shampoos. It is sulfate-free so it won't lather as much either. But it is so pigmented that I have to bring a washcloth in the shower to wash the walls and shower curtain off afterwards so they do not stain (so if that is too much for you maybe look at Joico or AG's). It gets rid of 100% of the yellow and brass in one use. I shampoo first with another sulfate free shampoo and then apply this, leave it on for 4-5 minutes and rinse, then condition and rinse again. Leaves me with perfectly toned level 9-ish blonde hair without any buttery colors or brass. Doesn't seem to dry my hair out (I always condition though) and smells good. Will buy this again for sure!

Treatments -Clinique - Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector
ArizonaAngel 11/4/2012 12:46:00 AM
Worked for me..but the price is just ridiculous. A DS brand I use works just as well for about a quarter of the price...and you get more product. It lightened my melasma on my forehead but when I ran out within three weeks I wanted something more wallet-friendly. I liked it because it worked, but I won't buy again because there are better options for me out there.

Treatments -AMBI - Fade Cream
ArizonaAngel 11/4/2012 12:43:00 AM
Works and it is inexpensive. I have tried numerous products to help my melasma (side effect from pregnancy, then birth control and then being lazy with sunscreen) and this just works. Scent is ok. My issue is on my forehead (always has been) so I have no issues with breakouts or anything. It took a few weeks to see results but I am happy. The tube is metal-ish so after a while it tends to leak...otherwise this is an awesome product to lighten sunspots. Will buy again - in fact, I have.
