The colors I purchased were white pearl and turquoise pearl and the colors are very pigmented and blend so smoothly. I love the shimmer that they have and the colors are beautiful on eyelids and in the bottle. My only problem is with the packaging. It comes in a sort of little plastic bottle with a screw off lid but the neck of the bottle is so small that you can't dip a makeup brush in the bottle like you would with a MAC pigment. What I do when I use my Pearl Mania shadows is take an old cap from a mineral eye shadow and tap out a little of the loose pigment from the Pearl Mania bottle so I have adequate space for my brush. But other than the small bottle, I'm very satisfied with this NYX product :]
This is the first NYX eye shadow that I purchased. I'm normally not a green girl but this color made me fall in love with green shadows. It's a nice deep green shadow that really makes my brown eyes pop and it's silky and blends really well. Very pigmented even without a base and lasts a long time too without a base. Packaging is pretty cute too! Definitely buying more NYX colors!
This was okay... I actually like to use it as an eye base more so than a concealer. It doesn't blend that well for me when I pat it onto my face and after awhile it looks kinda cakey and dry on my skin. Maybe it's just because it's in a solid stick form; I'll probably try one of CG's sponge applicator concealer next time or another brand that's in a jar. Good as a base for shadows though... I'm probably gonna stick to using it for that for the remainder that's left.
One of my favorite mascaras so far. Some people don't really like the rubber brush mascaras, but I really enjoyed this one. It easily separated and lengthened my lashes and it only took about 2 coats to get the job done! As of now, this is my HG mascara and I'm definetly buying again~!
Hmm... It does dry in about 60 seconds, but it's still prone to dents and smudges. It didn't last that long on my nails and chipped quickly, about a day after I applied it. And for the price, it didn't really fulfill my nail polish satisfaction.
Wow... This my first gel liner that I have used and I must say that I am more than likely going to buy more.I purchased True Black and it's such a nice inky black color that goes on smooth and lasts all day without any smudging whatsoever. It even stayed put on my waterline all day, which blew me away, as up until trying this liner, I could never find anything that stayed on my waterline. Packaging is simple yet effective, and the price is well worth the money. Definetly a product that will not disappoint!
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Pink Deluxe Oval Shadow Brush

This is one of my favorite eyeshadow brushes! :D It works fabulously for applying shadow all over your eye area as well as under the eye and superb for blending out those harsh lines. Picks up shadows like a dream. Super cute as well with the pink pearl handle. Love it~!
I recommend Great Lash to any girl who is interested in starting to have fun with makeup. The look it gives you isn't too over the top nor does it look like you have nothing on your lashes. This was the first mascara I started using before I started delving into others, and this is definetly the mascara that I always have as a back up in my purse or make up bag :] This can make your lashes look so natural that if you have a parent who is a little iffy about you wearing makeup, this will be the mascara to win them over. Try it!
Lipstick -Cover Girl - Trushine Lipstick - Petal Shine 425

This lipstick is pretty good for a drugstore brand. I picked Petal Shine because it was recommended under the fair skintone section and thought, why not, I'll try it out. I like the shade, sort of a dark, pinkish mauve color in the tube but when it's on my lips it turns a sheer, pinky-nude color and almost looks like I'm wearing nothing on my lips. I would like a shade with a little more pink undertones, so maybe another shade will satisfy that aspect for me. Overall, I still like the formula. One con is that I find that it dries out a bit too fast for me and I have to reapply it several times throughout the day. Maybe a clear gloss on top would help keep the color on longer, but I have yet to try using one on the lipcolor. Packaging is cool too, the tube shines like a prism and isn't bulky or anything. Definetly will try again in a different shade.
Liquid -Cover Girl - Clean Makeup Fragrance Free [DISCONTINUED]
AquaticPixie 1/6/2009 6:54:00 PM
This is the first liquid foundation that I have tried and after hearing my friends and family members talk about how much they dislike liquid foundation and prefer minerals, I kind of disagree with them. This formula is light, not cakey at all and can be easily built up from a sheer coverage to full coverage. Blends like a dream too! I recommend the fragrance free formula over the formula with that weird, sort of old lady perfume smell to it... When applied with a wet makeup sponge, the foundation goes a long way and is perfect for a sheer, natural looking coverage. The only cons to this is that after awhile, it can get a bit flaky on my forehead on my semi-dry skin, but it's nothing a little touch up can't fix :] The bottle it comes in could have also been a bit more functional, maybe if they added a pump instead of a pour bottle, or made it a squeeze bottle. But I am definetly buying another one after I'm out!
