Liquid -Maybelline - Dream Liquid Mousse

When I first put this on, it looks great and gives a good amount of coverage. However after a few hours, my face starts to look and feel very greasy. I did use this product for about a month and didnt realize how bad it was until i saw myself in a photo after wearing it for about 5 hours. The coverage was gone and i looked like an oil slick. If you have super dry skin, then this may be a good product for you - but oily skin beware!

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow

I had given up on cream shadows a long time ago - they would always crease and did not have any staying power (at least the ones that I tried). When I saw the color tattoo product, I was a bit skeptical - however, I purchased the Too Cool shade and so glad that I did! I put it on my lids, and it stays in place all day long. When applied to my lids, it also gives my eyeliner more staying power. It is a little bit difficult to blend (at least for me), but after some practice, it gets easier. Overall, it is a great product. I highly recommend it.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color

I have always had good luck with L'oreal hair color, but not this time. Thus is, by far, the worst hair color I have ever used. I turned my hair much darker than the color on the box...and I only left it on for 10 minutes. Ever since I used this product my hair has been really dry and a lot of it fell out (not exactly what I was expecting from a semi-permanent hair color.) I still love the other L'oreal hair colors, but I will never use this one again.

Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

I really love this powder. I was wearing Bare Minerals Mineral Veil for the longest time, but it was starting to dry out my skin - so, I decided it was time for a change. I read some really good things about this product and decided to try it. I am so glad that I did. It sets my foundation and goes on nice and smooth. It's great for everyday use - and the best part about it is, a little goes a long way with this powder. I would highly recommend it for someone who is looking to give their makeup a more natural look. The other powders were making my face to heavy - this one goes on just right.

Lip Gloss -LORAC - Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss

I received the 3D lipgloss as a sample. I love to try new products, but I never really expect to much from a lip gloss - however, this lip gloss really surprised me. The color was beautiful, went on smooth and stayed on for quite some time. I was surprised when I looked in the mirror and still had gloss on...most of the time it fades within an hour or so. I would definitely buy this - this will be a good edition to a makeup collection around the holidays.

Liquid -Almay - Line Smoothing Makeup

When Maybelline discontinued on of my favorite foundations, I tried to find something else. I decided to try this foundation - it was on sale and they had a foundation shade that was light enough for me. I'm sorry to say that there is nothing line-smoothing about it at all. In fact, it made lines more noticeable. Plus, the packaging is horrible - the bottle they packaged it in made it hard to get the foundation out! I would not buy this again, nor would I recommend it to anyone who is trying to minimize fine lines.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I had heard a lot of great reviews about this product; so I bought it and I was not impressed. It certainly didn't make my lashes look fuller or longer - if anything it clumped and really irritated my eyes. This mascara certainly wasn't the right fit for my eyes - I think I will just stick with the Maybelline Full and Soft Mascara. I've always had good luck with this product; I was just hoping to find an amazing mascara in Lash Blast, but I ended up being really disappointed with it.

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Boi-ing

I have mixed feelings about this product - I like that they have a light enough color for my skintone, but as far as staying power it just doesn't work that well for me. The concealer didn't work any better than the ones that I could buy in the drugstore - the only difference was it was 3 times more expensive. I have dry skin and I can't stand it when it looks really flaky. I think this product made my face look very cakey and dry. However, I don't think that there is anything wrong with the product itself, it just doesn't work on my skin type and the level of coverage just wasn't enough for me. I definitely think that this product will work for a lot of people out there, but for me it just wasn't the right match.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Natural Match haircolor [DISCONTINUED]

I have tried many different hair coloring products and I have been very happy with this one. Whenever I try a new product I am always concerned that my hair might come out looking to brassy - with this product I don't have to worry about it at all. I normally use the 4C Dark Ash Brown. The color is perfect for my skintone and doesn't leave any trace of brassiness. The other thing that I really like about it is the conditioner that comes with it. When I condition my hair with this stuff it comes out smelling so good. My husband absolutely loves it...actually I think he will sometimes use a tiny bit of it himself. :) It's always nice to have a product that you know is going to work for you everytime. This product has definitely been the one for me - and the price is great! I can't afford to keep going back to the salon - besides, I think my hair comes out looking just as good. I would highly recommend this product for anyone that wants a nice looking hair color for a great price.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Sin

I really love the original Eye Primer Potion. I discovered it a few years ago and I truly don't know what I would have done without it. I used the original on the day of my wedding and I never had to worry about any touch-ups. I was excited when I heard about this new product. I usually use a champagne color all over my lids, so I thought that this would be perfect...but I was disappointed with the staying power. It does add a nice shimmer, but it doesn't seem as thick as the original. It almost made my eyes look more oily, whereas the original did not. This product might be perfect for someone who doesn't have really oily eyelids, but for me it just didn't compare to the original primer potion. I think the original will always be in my makeup bag, but the Sin primer potion was a disappoint for me.

Lip Gloss -Maybelline - Lip Polish

I was very impressed with this lip gloss. I would love for it to stay on longer than it does, but that is to be expected with any lip gloss. I have it in two colors - Nude Flash and Mauvie Star. I would definitely buy this product again. This product was just as good as any $25.00 lip gloss that I could buy at the mall.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Beam

I really like this product. At first I was skeptical since they labeled it "Super Model in A Bottle" but I have found that it adds a really nice glow to my cheeks. It's a good highlighter - it was easy for me to apply and it blended easily for me. I used this product on my wedding day and it gave my cheeks a nice glow without looking to made over. Made my cheekbones look beautiful. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to add a little glow.

Lipstick -Cover Girl - Outlast

This is a wonderful product. It really stays on all day and night. It's nice being able to go out and not have to worry about touching up your lips. You can eat, drink, etc. and this product will stay on. I know that some people think that this product can be drying on the lips - it can be, but that's why I always carry the moisturizer lipstick with me. If your lips are feeling dry you can quickly apply a little of the moisturizer and it's good as new...at least for me. I highly recommend this product for anyone who doesn't want to worry about touching up their lips. I love this product and I don't know what I would do without it. It's nice not having to worry about reapplying lipstick all the time.

Liquid -Maybelline - Pure Makeup [DISCONTINUED]

For everyday use this foundation is wonderful. It goes on smooth and stays nicely on my skin. When I need extra coverage I use Estee Lauder's Double Wear - it's a wonderful foundation; but a little expense for me to use everyday. This foundation gives me medium coverage, which is great for the summer time and everyday. Best of all, it doesn't feel really heavy or cakey on my skin. Sometimes I have a hard time finding a foundation color that works for me, but this one matches great with my coloring. For the price, this product does a great job.

Primer/ Corrector -Boots - Mattifying Make-up Base

I think that this is probably one of those products that either works wonders for you or is completely horrible. Unfortunately, for me, this product was horrible. The product is very pasty and not easy to apply to my skin. It made me skin flake and after I applied my foundation it started to flake off as well. I really wanted this product to work for because of the good price, but for me it's worth it to spend a little extra money for a better product. I bought the product at Target - they often have samples out, so I suggest trying it a little on your skin before you buy it. The texture alone might turn you off - but it works for some people/skin types - just not mine.
