I discovered this at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris when the SA sprayed me and said it was the perfect scent for when 'you ar aving deena wiz yo usband.....' I was hooked. I can't stand vanilla scents usually as they are sickly and cloying but this was warm, sensual and seductive. In fact, everything thing you want when you are having dinner with your husband. Absolutely gutted that it's discontinued, hence only 4 lippies overall.

Good black colour and no flaking or smudging. Plus it's all natural. Perfect for everyday use.
Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Crystal Lipstick- Crystal Baby

Gorgeous pink-nude shiny color! I have dry lips but find this formula very moisturizing. Agree that it doesnt last long at all - needs constant touch ups - but as I love it, this isnt a problem. Very similar to Mac Hug Me which I also love, For a more peachy-nude shade, try Crystal Nude, my other favourite.
Love this product. The plum color brings out the green in my eyes. I don't like 'coloured' mascara 1980's style but this mascara is very subtle but you can definitely see the tint on the lashes. No flaking or smudging at all on me. Definitely repurchasing.
An absolute make-up staple for me. I've auburn/brown hair and fair skin with green/grey eyes. I use this colour either in my crease or over the whole lid up to the crease. Looks particularly good as a contrast to Mac Vanilla eyeshadow for a neutral, polished daytime look. Makes the green in my eyes really stand out.
This product comes in a large screw-top plastic pot. I like this product but I dont love it. Smells wonderful and breaks down well when it's massaged between fingers and onto skin. Removes make-up easily and I also use on my eyes without any problem. I wipe off with a Liz Earle warm, damp muslin cloth. IMO, it seems to leave a little bit of a 'film' on the skin which I definitely dont get when I use Sarah Chapman's cleaner (my HG) or Emma Hardie's cleanser (my other HG). For reference, I am 43 with typical English Rose skin - fair, tendency to dryness and slight sensitivety.
I really wanted this to work for me, I use SC Dynamic daily moisturiser which is my HG and also the eye recovery which is my HG. I bought off Ebay for around £30 - yes, it's a genuine item. The packaging is great . The product smells beautiful. I use 2 pumps to cover face and neck and although it's a little shiny when it first goes on, it's soon absorbed. Unfortunately I didn't notice any difference when using this product and my skin looks better in the morning just using the moisturiser. In fact, my skin was flaky. I wouldnt repurchase as it just didnt work for me.
Gels/Soaps -Burt's Bees - Radiance Exfoilating Body Wash

Was given this as a gift. Smell was OK for me - slightly sweet like warm honey. Like a previous reviewer says it didnt lather and you dont feel clean. The exfoliation beads are useless. Wouldnt buy.
Was given a sample of this to try. Only used once and washed it off straight away. Did not like the smell at all - which is strange as I like the body wash. Not moisturising enough for me - shimmer was OK - but just could not get on with the smell.
Scrubs -Clarins - Smoothing Body Scrub for a New Skin with Bamboo Powders
Angiewe 6/11/2011 7:00:00 AM
Tried this as an alternative to my current fave body scrub - Soap & Glory The Scrub of Your Life (around £7 from Boots) Really like the consistency (small scrubby bits) and the scent which is not as strong or lingering as S&G. Definitely agree with a previous review that it works best on lightly damp or dry skin. Scrub left my skin really smooth (I have quite dry skin on my body) and this helped my lotion really be absorbed, even my scaly shins are smooth. This is a Clarins product so it's not cheap but I would definitley repurchase. For those who like to feel that they've removed the top layer of skin after scrubbing and want smooth arms but dont want to pay for a H/E- give Soap & Glory a try.
Great non-shimmery neutral colour for us fair girlies. Can be used just under brow or all over lid as a base. Looks particularly good with Mac Wedge as a contrast. Make up bag staple for me
Wanted this lipstick for ages - billed as a sophisticated pink with lavender undertones. Looks terrible on me unfortunately - the lavender really shouts out. Great colour payoff and lasting ability but wont be repurchasing simply because it doesnt suit me.
In general I have always loved Calvin Klein fragrances and return to them on a regular basis - so many memories .... Obsession - late 1980's college years Eternity - Wedding Day scent CK One - shared with my OH Truth - Early years with my boys etc..... Euphoria is another lovely fragrance and it really lasts on the skin. More of a night time scent imo. Enjoy!
This is my signature scent. Always return to this when I want to feel sophisticated and empowered. Usually wear at nighttime but sometimes I wear it during the day if I have an important meeting and want a bit of a confidence boost :-) It is a very strong chypre type of scent - very warm - and I think it's like Marmite (which I hate) and you either love or hate it. It's not for the clean linen scent brigade or for little girls - it's a full bloodied woman's scent m'lud. I also love Mitsouko by Guerlain which is also chypre (I think).
I adore this sophisticated fragrance. It's a woman's fragrance and such a classic - always gets compliments when I wear it. My husband likes this fragrance on me too. My all-time signature scent is Clinique Aromatic Elixir and Mitsouko is along the same lines. If you like the Clinique, give Mitsouko a spray.
