Cleansers -Dr. Brandt - d-face make-up remover

I was disappointed w/ this product. It glides easily over your face w/ a cotton ball; but it did not even come close to removing all of my makeup. I won't by it again.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Juice - Sugar Coated

This is sooo pretty. I love this color. To my eye it is clear w/ opalescent micro-glitter. And comes w/ the yummie fruity scent that all of these CJ's come in. For $7.49 USD it's a great deal. I hope L'Oreal always makes these.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Glassy Gloss in Mocha Glaze

I love this and has a pleasent sort of fruity scent. The color looks like a frosty tan in the tube. But on it is sheer tan that lets the natural pigment of your lips show through. Perfect w/ M.A.C. Spice l/l. I love it. And for $2.99 USD everyone should have one.

Lip Liners -Wet 'n' Wild - Liner #712

I'm sooo bummed. I got this because I heard so many raves about it. I love my other WnW l/l's; but it seems that they have drastically changed the formula for these. My others glide on smoothly. W/ this new formula I have to push really hard to get any color to show up, even on the back of my hand. I hope they change back. If you want a LOOK-A-LIKE for M.A.C. Spice I'd go w/ Prestige SAND. If they go back I'll try it, if not total waste of money. What a bummer.

Lip Gloss -Unlisted Brand - Posner - Lip Lustre - Enchantress

The pigment of these glosses is great. And they have high shine. HOWEVER, there is such an obtrusive chemical scent to these that I was literally heaving. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

Lip Gloss -Stila - Rose Shine

This mauvey/brown color w/ shimmer works great w/ my skin. I am an olive-toned cool(rare). This color is beautiful on me. It is identical to the color next to brown in the Sonia Kashuk neutral gloss kit. I wore the colors side by side on my lips and there was absolutely no difference. Incredible. The packaging is the same as L'Oreal glass shines. I prefer to squeeze into a gloss pot. But I recommend this highly and would buy it again. I love it.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Green
rated 4 of 5
Angeline1983 8/20/2003 1:28:00 PM

This color is a shimmery true green. This color seems to ball itself up unlike my other pigment colors; so you have to crush before application. I love this color. I tried it as a sample first and had to get a full jar. And the quality is great. I recommend it highly to others. I would improve the container, however, by adding a sifter.

Eyes -Mary Kate and Ashley - Sequin Dust/Sparkling Powder "Buttercup"
rated 4 of 5
Angeline1983 8/19/2003 9:16:00 PM

I am very surprised at the quality of this product. I bought BUTTERCUP after remembering how another MUAer raved about it. It is an excellent highlighter. The color describes how it looks in the jar; but when you put it one the skin it is so beautiful. Tons of shimmer. Looks like a pale yellow gold. I'm so glad I got it. The jars they come in are similar to M.A.C. piggies. I like the fact that these come w/ a sifter as well. I saw a couple of other colors I can't wait to try as well. But I think BUTTERCUP is something everyone should try :-)

Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - Moistureshine Lipgloss in Tickled
rated 4 of 5
Angeline1983 8/19/2003 1:17:00 PM

I discovered these by accident when a fellow MUAer asked me to CP some for her. I just love TICKLED which is a shimmery pale pink reminisent of the 80's. It looks great on me. ( I'm an olive-toned MMM.) This has a light candy scent IMO which is unubtrusive. And I love the variety of colors that I saw. I'm going to start collecting these.

I love how this holds w/o any stickiness. And for a low-end product the quality is surprisingly great for the low price.

Eyeliner -Revlon - Softstroke Powderliner-All
rated 3 of 5
Angeline1983 8/10/2003 11:01:00 PM

This product works okay. Seems to last pretty long and doesn't fade or smear; BUT it breaks everytime I sharpen it and then the "sharpened" tip breaks off nearly right away. So IMHO a waste of money. For $5 cheaper I can get an eyeliner from Jordana that works better. I won't buy it ever again.

Eye Shadow -Versace - Stunning Luminous Eye Shadow (Shimmery Turquoise)

Sorry forgot the item number. My goodness, I gave this to my grandmother thinking it would not work on me. She looks very young for her age and has my coloring. As soon as she put it on I was kicking myself. It looked fabulous on her. I mean absolutely gorgeous. Also it lasted all day long in the humid weather being applied straight to the lids w/o any foundation or powder. It didn't crease or fade all day long. I'm dying to hurry up and replace it.

Lip Treatments -MAC - Lip balm
rated 2 of 5
Angeline1983 7/31/2003 12:56:00 PM

I was disappointed w/ this product after hearing so many praises about it. Yes, it is very softening because it contains pure castor oil; but, to me, it also tastes like it. I'm sticking to Neutrogena Lip Nutritions until I find something better.

Eye Makeup Remover -Maybelline - Expert Eyes Moisturizing Remover for waterproof Eye Makeup
rated 3 of 5
Angeline1983 6/22/2003 1:33:00 AM

I thought I'd try this because I ran out of my reg. eye makeup remover and it was cheap. It's supposed to be made for waterproof eye makeup; but I find myself tugging trying to take off non w/p eye makeup. And I have to fill 4 jumbo cotton balls back and front to get all of my eye m/u off. No reason to buy this again.

Scrubs -La Mer - The Refining Facial

Well I'm not lemming this anymore. I was really excited about trying this. I have combo. skin. I loved the way it felt on my skin. So gentle and I loved the texture. It took FOREVER to get all of the little diamond bits off of my face. My skin did look softer and shinier; but I've gotten the same results, even, from low-end products. I was disappointed considering the high price tag. I expected it to be exceptional. I won't be buying it ever again.
