I bought a sample of this first and now I'm hooked. The scent is so fresh and uplifting, and the oil seems to have a warming effect. It makes my skin glow and it's a real pick me up in autumn and winter. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 is because my lower legs seem to need a little more moisture than this oil can provide. Other than that it's perfect.

Lip Treatments -Weleda - Everon lip balm

I can't believe I didn't discover this earlier. I'm a lipbalm addict and I own lots of them. Now that the weather is getting colder, my other balms didn't work as well as they used to and I got horrible chapped lips. I applied this once and it soothed and healed them. I also love that it comes in a tube rather than a tin and that it's all natural. Will definitely buy again.

Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure

I bought some pure jojoba oil, not the Desert Essence one. I was sceptical at first, because my skin breaks out easily and is dry and oily at the same time. After using this for the first time, I broke out pretty bad, but I persisted because it was that time of the month and I clearly suffered from hormonal spots. It's been about 5 days since, and my skin looks great. The breakouts are clearing up and my skintone is nearly perfect. I never had such an even skintone in my entire life! I also noticed that my pores are getting smaller and less clogged up. I can't believe my eyes. I honestly thought nothing would work for that problem! I use jojoba oil to moisturise with, just a couple of drops mixed with water. Sometimes I use it to take off makeup, but most days I use Ahava Mud Soap. It's a winning combination.

Fragrances -Giorgio Armani - Mania (re-release 2004; beige cap, not black)

I like most Armani scents, but think most the scents kind of smell the same. I never tried Mania before, but am glad I did! It has that musky undertone that most Armania scents have, but seems softer. Very powdery, and it also smells a bit like wood, which I love. Will definitely repurchase, but bought a big bottle, so that will take a while.

Fragrances -Jil Sander - sensations

I purchased this because of the reviews on MA. I don't like scents that everyone wears, and have been looking for a subtle everyday scent. Sensations is everything I want: it's clean, comforting and suitable for many occasions. I can wear this to college/ work and on a night out. It's irresistible! I'm buying the bodylotion next!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Turbo Boost Waterproof

I have tried the regular Volume Express in the past and thought it was horrible and too clumpy. Then I swa they had a new one, and, curious as I am, I wanted to try it. I have no regrets! This one is so much better! It really curls and thickens my long, but straigth lashes. And it holds all day long. No more expensive mascaras for me, I'll stick with Maybelline and Bourjois.

Very pretty colour! Looks quite dark in the package, but looks lighter on my lips. Perfect for a natural look. I would have given a higher rating if it was more moisturising.

Moisturizers -Weleda - Skin Food

I just had to try this after reading all the raves on MA. I use this on eczema patches on my face. My skin is spotprone so I don't use it as a moisturiser. Anyway, I was blown away by the effect. This sinks right in and reduces the itching and redness in my face. It hasn't completely cleared up yet, ( I don't think it ever will; I've always had eczema)but I'm thrilled I found something non-greasy and non-irritating to use. It works excellent as a handcream, too. My hands look so much better now! Plus it's all natural and pretty cheap as well.

Skincare - Face -Ahava - Advanced Moisturizer for Oily Skin

I'm used to using heavier moisturisers on my face, eventhough I have very spotprone skin. Lately I've been having blocked pores and blackheads, and I blamed my moisturiser ( Weleda Almond moisturiser) I got myself some samples of Ahava first, and was suprised by the effects. My skin feels a bit tight after applying this, but after a couple of minutes it feels pleasant and very soft. Shine is nearly gone, and it really seems to shrink my pores. I love the Ahava oily skincare range. It has done nothing but good things for my face. Will save my Weleda moisturiser for winter and will use this as my everyday moisturiser!

Loose Powders -T. LeClerc - Loose Powder in Chair Ocrée

This is the perfect colour to use when I'm tanned! ( I have fair asian skin with yellow undertones) I hate the packaging though. It took me ages to get the container open, and I still spilled some powder. Chair Ocrée looks quite pink/ orange in the container, but evens out my skintone without making me look orange, which most powders do. All in all I'm very satisfied with this product and will keep buying more when I run out.

After lots of hesitation, I finally bought this compact powder along with some loose powder in Chair Ocrée. I love the look of the compact and the luxury of the product. After applying, I thought it looked too yellow, but after a couple of minutes it settled and I look like I've used foundation. ( I used this with some MAC concealer only) The redness in my face is still visible, but toned down, and my skin looks radiant. I wonder what it will look like with the use of foundation...probably flawless! The only downside is the price, but I'm happy to pay it for such a great powder.

Moisturizers -LUSH - Enzymion

I received a sample of this moisturiser with my order. Yhe first couple of days, I couldn't believe my eyes. My skin was matte, pores were refined, etc. Then I broke outpretty bad. Seems that I'm allergic to the cocoabutter in Lush moisturisers. I can use their bodylotions without a problem, but moisturisers are a big no no. People with acne should ask for a sample first!

Conditioner -LUSH - Jungle

I like most Lush conditioners, but Jungle is my favourite. It smells heavenly and makes my hair very sleek and shiny, without weighing it down. My hair tends to get frizzy, but Jungle makes it look like I spend hours at a hairdresser.

This soap pleasantly surprised me. It really is effective! The smell is lovely, it isn't drying and it's very soothing for my irritated, spotprone skin. Excellent and so cheap!

Fragrances -Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab - Blood Rose

One of my favourite rose scents. I smell red, fresh roses just after applying, then the spicy notes and wine come through. I can still smell this the day after I've used it.
