Cleansers -BeneFit Cosmetics - B. Right Foamingly Clean Facial Wash

This a nice creamy cleanser, takes everything off without drying. A little too creamy for me in warm weather but fine in winter. But I recently couldn't get more out of the container, and cut it open to retrieve the last bits - and there was a TON of product left. I scooped it out and will use it but I bet many people would just toss it, there had to be 1/5 of the container stuck to the walls. So, lousy dispensing system, although I have to say its appearance it what brought me in.
As moisturizers go, this is hands down the best one I've ever used. My skin is plump and moist without feeling greasy. I love to touch my face! I don't know that it does anything else, like anti-aging so you might want to use an appropriate serum first but I doubt I'll use another moisturizer ever again.
I am 49, and as a rule think nail polishes that aren't berry, pink or maybe red are silly, and especially so on me. And I truly believe I have no business spending $25 on a nail polish. But I broke down and bought this and I LOVE it. I don't believe it's brassy gold at all - it's got shimmers of many colors. This time of year my nails are long (humidity in the air) and it looks spectacular. I'm had two people comment on them and no one EVER mentions my nails. This is a worthwhile splurge.
I got this as a sample from Sephora and it could not go in the trash fast enough. Does no one else get bug spray from this scent? Ugh!
This is better than a decent mascara. You're getting spiky, notice me lashes. I applied a second coat and did not get the clumping other people got - I think it's just a question of being careful. I don't know that anything will top my love for Lancome for really spectacular lashes but I like this very much.
Treatments -Ice Elements - 2-Minute Miracle Exfoliating Gel

This product delivers exactly what it promises. You need only a thin layer, wait a minute, then rub in a circular motion. The result is balls of dead skin (not product balling up, I can tell by the texture it's skin). Rinse, and your skin is soft and glowing. If anyone is not getting this result I bet it's because they are using it incorrectly. I would think anything you apply on top of this, like a serum, works 10 X better. This rocks!
I have thin, fine hair and get body waves a couple times a year which help, but I need something for those weeks up to my next perm. I have tried everything, most are ok but make my hair so stiff. This was different right out of the bottle. I used it yesterday before an interview and my hair looked amazing. at $22 a bottle I don't know that I'll use it every day, especially if I'm not going anywhere but this is great stuff. The only thing is when I go to wash my hair afterward, my hair is noticeable silky, so I wonder if the product builds up? In which case, I'll need to use a good cleansing shampoo more often.
I really love Tarte's Lock and Roll powder/cream shadow combo, and thought at $17 that really isn't too bad. then I found this at $8 and love it! Granted it's just the cream, but one swipe just above my lashes is all you need for everyday. I have Almost Famous, as soon as Ulta has a sale I'll buy more. I would like to see some other colors, though - blue grey or moss green, for example.

Love this product, love it! Have it in 2 colors, will buy one more soon. Looking forward to them adding a blue or blue grey. It's so pretty and easy to apply!
Masks -Philosophy - The Microdelivery Purifying Peel

I love the idea of fruit acids eating all my dead skin cells and leaving me with softer, brighter skin, so I fell for this. It's just ok. I did have softer skin but nothing like when I use ExfoliKate or the two-part peel from Serious Skin Care. I had no bad reaction, just nothing worth noticing, and certainly not worth $40.
Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Creme de Rose 001

There is nothing wrong with this product. It's in a chic little container, works well (although is not incredibly moisturizing, but there's no lip balm out there that is) and has a pretty tint and scent. But it's $25! If I hadn't had a gift card and it was essentially free, I would have sent it back. This at the drugstore would not be more than $3.99. The profit Dior makes on each and every one of these must be laughable.
Treatments -Dr. Brandt - pores no more vacuum cleaner

Being 48 and having had blackhead for all but 11 of those years, I know that there's no magic product out there to get them to go away and not come back. My pores are stretched, I don't expect to ever see them small, but I would like those blackheads to go away. I started this treatment with a chin full of them, with extraction the only way to see them gone. Well, I have to say I'm very pleased with this product. There's a noticeable difference in my chin nose and cheeks, they definitely look better. I use this 4 or 5 times a week (not drying for me, not when you're starting with oily skin) and I see results. I'll pay this, because I really see it work.
I have different mascaras that I expect to do different things. I have my everyday mascaras and my WOW! mascaras, for special occasions. This is a great mascara IF you realize it's not meant to be a Wow. No clumping, nice feathering. No, it's not dramatic but it's perfect for casual wear, when you want mascara on but don't want to look made up. It will be my go-to Saturday mascara from now on, and for more casual days at work. I like the whole Lash Blast line, although the original in the orange tube is really the best all-purpose mascara.
Treatments (Eye) -Bliss Labs - All-Around Eye Cream

I got this as a sample with a Sephora purchase. The texture reminds me of glue. I don't even care how well it works, there are too many eye creams out there to use one whose texture so turns me off. No thanks.

I am using this product in the summer, when my 47 year old skin is still large pored and oily with the occasional breakout. In the morning I have practically a layer of sludge on my skin and this works great without drying (but please, keep my skin type in mind). Pleasant fragrance and after a month of use I haven't had a single stinging eye problem, as other reviewers have noted. Of course, I keep my eyes closed, and don't take my eye makeup with it, but I'm not really what you'd call careful, either. I like it.
