Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Spectro E-Care (EczemaCare) Intense Rehydration Cream
rated 5 of 5

I use both the Kid's Moisturizing Body Wash and the Intense Rehydration Cream. I actually use the body wash as a face wash during the winter months. It has worked very well with keeping my skin moisturized and calm. For the rehydration cream, I use that on my arms, legs and hands. It seems to take a while to work if you have more severe eczema, but if it's mild, this cream is great. With both products, I get more manageable skin during the winter. Less redness, itchiness and bumps/rashes. For its price and availability, it is a must have for those that suffer from eczema.

Moisturizers -Darphin - Intral Balm
rated 5 of 5
Angel_Wings 5/27/2010 12:15:00 PM

The product is called Redness Relief Recovery Balm and its from the Intral line. It's quite thick and I think it's great for ppl with sensitive/dry skin/eczema to use during the winter months. I noticed my skin getting smoother, less red and itchy after about 2.5-3 weeks of use. The price tag is kinda high, but since it worked, I am not complaining too much. On top of that, it's in a nice plastic tube, so unlike other higher end moisturizers that come in glass bottles, this one is easy to travel with.

Shampoo -Kiehls - Amino Acid Shampoo

This shampoo is extremely gentle. I can use it everyday without it irritating my scalp or drying it out. I love the smell and it rinses out easily. Although it is on the expensive side, you don't need much to get a nice lather.

Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Intensive Moisture Balance
rated 5 of 5
Angel_Wings 9/16/2008 12:26:00 AM

As the months turn colder, I need to turn to a heavier moisturizer to keep my skin calm and hydrated. (I have dry/sensitive/eczema skin) I read the reviews here and decided to give this moisturizer a try. So far, so good. You don't need much, and it glides on smoothly. B/c it's fragrance free and full of natural oils, I figured it would be good for my skin. I am only using it as a night cream for now, but once it gets even colder, I will use it during the day as well. So far, my skin is happy with it b/c it's usually extremely picky due to its sensitivity...and no breakouts yet. (fingers crossed!) Although it's a heavier moisturizer, it soaks into my skin nicely. I will update if anything changes.

Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Skin Smoothing Cream
rated 3 of 5

I was recommended by an esthetician to use this cream b/c it was supposed to help hydrate your skin if it was drier/sensitive. I didn't find it moisturizing enough for my skin. It was in the middle of winter and my skin had just starting going through a rough patch of eczema. No matter how much I put on, it wasn't enough to keep my skin hydrated. Perhaps it's due to my skin condition, but it just didn't work for me. Maybe I will try it for the summer months, but definitely not during winter.

Masks -Shu Uemura - Moisture Face Mask
rated 5 of 5
Angel_Wings 9/16/2008 12:02:00 AM

My skin is sensitive and dry, and on top of that, I've got eczema to boot. I have probably the worse skin ever. I decided to try this mask to see if it could help with the flakiness, itchiness and redness. I am extremely satisfied b/c these masks are absolutely fantastic! They do exactly what they say they do - moisture and even calm irritated skin. The mask is a little hard to "un-do" as you remove it from the package, but it's worth the little bit of extra work! I put on the mask after cleansing and toning. It feels extremely cool and refreshing on the face and after just ten minutes, you can feel that your skin is more hydrated. I just let my face air dry afterwards and apply my moisturizer over-top. Definitely a must-have for ppl with drier/sensitive skin types. Even if you are not dry/sensitive, this mask is like the little mini-spa at home - everyone can use a little extra moisture in their skin!

Skincare - Face -Shu Uemura - Principle Eye Zone Complex
rated 4 of 5
Angel_Wings 9/10/2008 4:47:00 PM

This eye cream/gel is really nice. It glides on easily and is absorbed almost instantly. It is great to use during the summer months, when my skin is more normal/oily. It does a great job of "de-puffing" and helps me combat those dark circles away. I did remove one lippy b/c of its packaging. Although I like how it pumps out and remains clean/sanitary, I know that when it's finished, there's probably still some left inside for a couple more applications. (It's probably impossible to get out though...*sigh*)

Treatments (Eye) -Korres - Eye Bright Firming Eye Cream
rated 4 of 5
Angel_Wings 9/10/2008 4:40:00 PM

This eye cream is quite moisturizing, so it's perfect for me during the winter months. The only thing is that it takes a while to really get absorbed into your skin nicely, so I use gentle rubs to work the cream in. For its size (30ml), it's quite affordable. Eyecreams/treatments are usually only 15ml for about the same price, if not more. The area around my eyes is sometimes quite red due to my skin condition (eczema), and I have found that this eye cream has helped a bit with keeping the redness away. All-in-all, a nice eye cream to use. **Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued**

Treatments -Kiehls - drawing paste with azulene
rated 3 of 5
Angel_Wings 9/10/2008 12:00:00 PM

This product works quite well and it does what it's suppose to do - draw out your pimples and what not. However, it's a little messy and hard to apply. I find that if you have a really bad pimple, it gets even messier. For me, it works best with just less complicated breakouts. It's also a pain to remove. You have to really get down and dirty to get it off and with it already on top of a pimple...not pretty. Perhaps I am not using it properly, but I probably won't repurchase.

Conditioner -Matrix - Sleek.look conditioner
rated 2 of 5
Angel_Wings 9/9/2008 5:08:00 PM

I bought this conditioner as part of a combo with the shampoo. I found that it was too heavy, and too greasy. My hair felt weighed down and oily as a result. Don't get me wrong, it's probably a great product for ppl with extremely dry/frizzy hair. But for me, it was just too much.

Shampoo -Matrix - Sleek.look Shampoo

I bought this shampoo hoping that it would calm some of the frizz in my hair. It did the trick and worked really well, but as a consequence, my hair and scalp was super oily after repeated use. Not only that, it just began to weigh my hair down...perhaps it is too conditioning...I don't know, but I have to wash my hair every day when I use this product. Maybe it works better for ppl with extremely dry/frizzy hair.

Skincare - Body -Boscia - Daily Hand Revival Therapy SPF 15
rated 5 of 5
Angel_Wings 9/4/2008 11:47:00 PM

This hand cream works very well. I get dry patches on my hands periodically and this cream was able to keep my hands soft and supple. It easily absorbs into your skin and with the added bonus of SPF, I know my hands are protected from the sun during the day. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves non-sticky hand creams with sun protection.

I really like this scrub. It was gentle enough for my skin (dry/sensitive) and was able to really smooth out my skin to give me a nice clean feeling. I use it once a week and recommend it to those who want a good gentle effective scrub.

This eye-makeup remover is perfect for my sensitive eyes. A salesperson at Sephora recommended it to me b/c of my dry/sensitive skin, and it has been wonderful! It removes makeup very nicely and is extremely gentle. I will definitely re-purchase!
