Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Mascara Base [DISCONTINUED]

I cannot believe how much I love this stuff. It makes my lashes look longer and fuller, even with a cheap drugstore mascara. My mascara never runs or flakes anymore, either. In fact, I recently wore this to a funeral under Maybelline Full 'n Soft mascara (NOT Waterproof). I cried a LOT, and swiped at my eyes quite a bit. After the service I hurried to the bathroom to fix what I was sure was a record-breaking case of raccoon eyes- and to my shock I did not have a single mark under my eyes or on my cheeks. Outside of the red swollen look (very in for '08) my eyes were perfect. This stuff is magic.

This is the PRETTIEST pink color! It wears well, isn't sticky, and doesn't pill or feather. It's not at all a dramatic, lipsticky look, either, which I love; it's almost like a longlasting tinted lipgloss. Love it.
They should call this an Eyelid Exfoliating Brush. It was like rubbing steel wool over my eyelid. VERY course.
THIS is an amazing brush. Best eyeshadow brush I've ever used, and I've used a few. Love it. It's soft, full, and mine haven't shed a single hair. Love 'em.
This is a thin, scratchy brush that doesn't hold or apply powders very well. I much prefer my Everyday Minerals Angled Blush Brush- THAT is an amazing brush.
Eh. I have a BE Heavenly face brush that I LOVE for applying powders, and this just doesn't stack up. It's coarse and scratchy, and I just don't want to use it. For anything. It's sitting in a drawer where it will probably stay. Still, a great deal for $1.
I really like this brush! I use mineral foundation, but I find this brush is very helpful for applying concealer in large areas, like the red area behind my nostril, without looking caked on (a problem with my concealer brushes!) I took one lippie off because the handle fell off the second time I used it, but I stuck it back on and it stayed without needing to be glued. I think I am going to buy extras of this brush for mask application, like a pp! Love it.

I received this in a swap, and I absolutely hate it. To quote my husband, "It smells like B.O. covered up with baby powder." NOT the way I want to smell.
Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Lipstick in Sugar Honey 183

I love love this color. I recieved it as a GWP with a perfume purchase, and after looking at it, I nearly put it up for swap without trying it. Well, after trying it, I put it right in my main makeup case for everyday use. It's a very nice golden peach color that looks great layered with L'oreal HiP gloss in Pixie. The only problem I have is that the tube broke right away and now ti comes apart every time I try to use the lipstick; I might end up smooshing the color into a pot and applying it with a brush.
I have five of these right now, and every time I go to Walgreens I buy another one or two. That is how deeply I am in love with this product. It is moisturizing, goes on smooth and isn't sticky or greasy at all. It's not too heavy, and not too light. It isn't very highly pigmented, but it adds a nice subtle tint and shine that is great for a natural everyday look. LOVE this product.
Thank heaven I tested this before I bought it. Between the glowing reviews and my love for D & G (red cap), I nearly bought a full sized bottle of this scent unsmelled. After all, how can you go wrong with fresh and clean? This is how. It may be (and probably is) my own chemistry, but this smelled like lemon flavored pez on me. Heavy, artificial, chemical. It was terrible. Fortunately, it had no lasting power at all, so I didn't suffer for long.

This is my everyday HG perfume. I love that it smells so clean and sharp, at the same time smelling feminine and classy. When I first tried it I turned it down, telling the sales woman that if I wanted to smell like soap, I'd rub a bar of Irish Spring down my arm and save some money. (I said it in a NICE way!) I ended up tracking her down and apologising to her a week later- when I bought the 3.4 oz bottle. After sampling it I just could not stop sniffing it! After a few hours the soapy scent dries down and I am left with a gorgeous spicy scent that says, "Strong woman". This is NOT your generic romantic floral. The only thing that I dislike about this perfume is the bottle; the rectangular shape is awkward and makes spraying it difficult. Also, it got turned on its side and it leaked around the sprayer.
This is sex in a bottle. (A very pretty bottle, in fact; I love that you can turn the nozzle off.) When I first bought this, I thought of it as "Obsession's younger, sexier cousin." Well, that was six months ago, and Addict has completely pushed Obsession off of my list. I save this perfume for when I am feeling confident and a little dangerous. Love it.
This is nice soft fruity floral, good for summer. It doesn't smell ANYTHING like Angel, to my nose, and actually smells kind of generic- but I like it anyway because it is light and refreshing. It is not a heavy scent, In fact I find it has about the strength of a body spray with more staying power.
This is the only scent my husband will admit to liking- and this one, he's actually grab me to smell me, and say, "I LOVE this perfume." That makes it a 5- lippie to me. It is a complex, heavy fragrance, and should be applied with care to avoid making everyone around you ill.
