Concealers -Hard Candy - Nobody's Perfect concealer palette

This product is horrible, no pigmentation, greasy, and the colors could not work for a variety of skin tones. The green did no red correcting, and the other two colors came out very white and were pointless. I get that this might work for younger kids, but there are better concealers for the same price. I would not even recommend this to a beginner at make up. In addition, the packaging was very gimmicky and the brush that came with it isn't even bigger than my pinky nail..

Eyes -Stila - Kitten Smudgepot
rated 3 of 5

I bought this because I love the kitten color, but I don't like using the shadow all the time due to the fall out. I thought I would love this like my MAC Paintpots, but the consistency is a lot dryer and does not blend easily. It goes on a little patchy and once it dries, which is quickly, you are done trying to blend. Also, the product itself dries out in the pot faster than paint pots. I was incredibly disappointed in this product and I wanted to make it work, because I love the color. Maybe if they reformulated the product, I would check it out again, but until then I will not be repurchasing.

Concealers -Maybelline - Fit Me

I have been using this concealer for my under eye area and it does a great job concealing and highlighting. The consistency is perfect for blending and it does not get cakey. I don't use it on blemishes mainly because the shade I have would just accentuate them as it is a touch lighter than my natural skin color, and I feel it is the wrong consistency for blemishes. All in all it's a good concealer and the packaging is straight forward no fuss.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Brule
rated 4 of 5

This is the best highlighting shade I have ever used. I have pretty fair skin and this color is like my skin color but ten times better and creamier. It's a perfect brow bone highlight or is perfect all over painterly paint pot and a soft brown in the crease with thin liner and mascara. The finish is satin so it is not quite matte but it definitely is not shimmery or glittery which is perfect. I pack this shadow every time I go out of town or spending the night at a friends. I would recommend this to anyone with fair skin as I use it every single day I wear make up with out a fail.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 5 of 5

I have been using this product for years and have purchased it many times in every different shade. It's my favorite primer for the times I don't use my MAC paint pot and it makes a definite difference in shadow appearance and longevity. Many people compare it to the loreal decrease, but to me decrease has a thicker consistency and doesn't blend that well. Urban decay primer potion is my holy grail primer and for the price you get plenty of product and now since they have changed the packaging you get every bit of use out of it with out having to rip apart the cute potion bottle packaging. I would recommend this primer to any one especially if they have oily lids that don't hold shadow well.

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Lemon Drop SPF 15
rated 3 of 5
AmandaMARi 2/16/2013 5:12:00 PM

I bought this lip balm after watching many people on YouTube rave about how it was the most moisturizing balm they have ever used. On top of that I was drawn in on the cute spherical packaging, but I have learned to not buy based on packaging. The product itself isn't the best lip balm or the most moisturizing, it has a weird waxy feel on the lips. The scent isn't hateful but it does taste like watered down lemonade. The problem I have come to realize with the packaging is after you use the sphere down flat it become harder to apply without getting past your lips. I'm going to stick to lip balms in a stick or squeeze tube form from now on and I'm glad I only bought just one.

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Lemony Flutter
rated 5 of 5

I'm a girl who changes her nail polish color quite frequently, around 2 times a week at most, and the acetone is destroying my skin. I put off on buying this product for a few months because the price made me hesitant. Though, I eventually broke down and I am glad I did! Firstly, I love the black lush tubs (for some products anyway). Secondly, the amount of product in the tub will last for the longest time as a little goes a long way, making it way worth the $16-17. Next, I love citrusy scents so the lemon is appealing to me, but not overly strong like wood cleaner as I have read some reviews state. Lastly, the product is incredibly moisturizing and sinks into the skin nicely. I love that it is not greasy, because I'm on the computer a lot and I hate having greasy keys. I would recommend this product to anyone with dry cuticles or elbows as it does an amazing job. Well worth it in my opinion!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
rated 5 of 5
AmandaMARi 2/16/2013 1:29:00 AM

While I love my naked palette, I don't think I would repurchase because I don't use all 12 shadows regularly enough. I'd rather buy the shadows I get most use of as singles. Every shadow is gorgeous though and there's enough variety to do a simple day/work look and party night out in any combination imaginable. The shadows are incredibly pigmented and easy to blend, there is one shade that has quite a bit of the well known UD glitter fall out, sidecar. When packing for trips I bring this palette everytime for the variety and the packaging is sleek and not fussy, like UD book of shadows. The brush it came with is decent, considering I'm used to using coastal scents brushes. All in all, great palette for anyone.
