Cleansers -Beyond Belief - Alpha/Beta Hydroxy Deep Pore Oil Free Foaming Cleanser

To clarify, the exact name of this cleanser has been and remains Beyond Belief ABH Pore Refining Cleanser. I loved the original formula and have been using it for years. However, recently the cleanser has been completely reformulated. While the name of the product has not been changed, it has become truly misleading considering a totally new ingredient list of the cleanser. First of all, the new formula does not contain ABH! The lactic and salicylic acids (5th and 6th places on the ingredient list of the original formula) have been literally replaced by fragrance (dangerously high on the ingredient list if you ask me). ABH are not even listed as a part of the new formula so false advertising right there. Secondly, while the once again advertised green tea (camellia sinensis) extract and fruit botanicals are listed close to the bottom of the list, the fragrance of the green tea in this product is simply overpowering. Don't get me wrong - I am a big fan of the green tea scent. (Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume is my daily staple.) But I don't feel like dipping my face in the fragrance and this is exactly what this new cleanser feels like when you wash your face with it. After the second time I used it my not particularly sensitive skin felt clearly irritated. I love Sally's but this new cleanser is a huge disappointment.
Gels/Soaps -Yves Rocher - Jardins Du Monde - All Shower Gels

I love Yves Rocher bath products! In fact, I prefer them over the BBW shower gels. They are gently on your skin, have a cute packaging, and most of them smell wonderfully, there is nothing artificial. With all the specials and free shipping deals that Yves Rocher runs on their products, you can get them for a very good price. My favorite shower gels are Plasirs Natures in Rasberry and Strawberry, Pur Desir de Lilas, and Honeysuckle.
I first bought this cream based on the MUA reviews and have been buying it for years now. It's a really good night time moisturizer with just the right amount of exfoliation to keep your skin radiant but not completely stripped of natural oils. While it does have anti-oxidants, I am not sure how good they are since this cream is packaged in a jar. I wish it was packaged in an air tight container. But so far I haven't found any nighttime treatment that I like better, so for now I'll keep buying this cream.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Creme

I use this deep conditioner as a weekly treatment, and it's the only thing that has kept my hair looking decent through years of creative styling and daily blowdrying. It gives my hair the moisture it needs without weighing it down, smells great, and is packaged in a generous size tub. What's not to love.
With this foundation my skin does look "lit from within". The finish is really beautiful while the formula is not as heavy as some other lancome foundations. However, beware if you have any developing fine lines. This foundation will most likely emphasize them before the day is over.
Foundations -Elizabeth Arden - Flawless Finish - Mousse Makeup

I''ve been bying this foundations for years. It does a great job of evening out my complexion without adding any weight. It's quite long lasting for how sheer it is and it gives my skin a matte finish. Sometimes I wish the foundation was a little more dewy but that's a matter of taste I guess. The packaging is hygenic and I have never had problem getting all the product out of the container.
Concealers -Physicians Formula - CoverToxTen 50 Concealer

I've bought one in soft yellow multiple times. This is the best concealer to hide undereye circles. It blends well, doesn't settle in lines and neutralizes the darkness better than any concealer in a more natural color does.
The shampoo leaves my hair silky and shiny. It has a very concentrated formula so I only need to use a dab to wash my medium length hair. Smells great. Same applies to La Source Conditioner.
I have one in Flesh. The color is beautiful and looks very natural on my light skin. It has a decent staying power. I'll definitely buy it again.
Lipstick -Clinique - Color Surge Bare Brilliance Orchid Shimmer

Love this lipstick. Looks beautiful on my warm-toned light pale skin.
Scrubs -Olay - Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel Kit

The scrub feels too sticky for my taste, while the serum causes minor skin break outs.
Hair Styling Tools -Conair - 1875 Ion Shine Hairdryer
Alyonka 1/10/2006 12:41:00 AM
I agree with the previous reviewer. The dryer doesn't give me much body either. The settings are off compared to other stylers, the temperature is way too low. Also, the plastic panel that covers the switch has cracked two days after I bought the hairdryer.
Conditioner -Thermasilk - Leave-In Conditioner [DISCONTINUED]
Alyonka 1/10/2004 2:11:00 AM
It is probably the best leave-in conditioner I've ever used. Before I tried a leave-in from Kenra, Perfect Look and Schwarzkopf, and none of them was even close to this one. It's a great detangler, and I don't need to use half a container before I can comb my fine hair after taking a shower. It also smells nice. I've been using it for a year and I'm not going to switch to anything else.
Lotions/ Creams -Victoria's Secret - Luxurious Hand and Body Cream

I love how rich and smooth this cream feels when applied on hands. The packaging is very cute too. The downside: it's not my cat's favorite. He (the cat) keeps the distance and wouldn't let me pet him for quite a while after I use this cream. The neutral side: my husband doesn't share my cat's feelings - he simply doesn't care about the scent. But my point is: the cream is way too fragrant.
Scrubs -Avon - Planet Spa White Tea Cleansing Face Polisher
Alyonka 9/24/2003 11:18:00 PM
PROS: 1. This is a really mild exfoliator that never irritates my sensitive skin, yet cleans it thoroughly. 2. It has a really pleasant herbal smell. CONS: 1. However, don't be fooled by the White Tea gimmick. The White Tea is listed at the end of ingredient list, right before frangrance. 2.The grey color and quality of the packaging is not particularly inspiring (but, well, how many cute looking tubes are out there with contents that, on the contrary, never work...)
