I think I would die without this. I use it every time I wash my hair. I find its only effective on wet hair- once its dry it doesn't do much other than shine it up a bit. I have thick hair and have never had a problem with using too much. Its great if I leave my hair to air dry curly or if I blow dry it straight. The bottle has a neat little feature where you can twist the cap so it wont accidentally pump if you throw it in your bag if you lose the plastic protective cap, which I always so. I always have at least one spare bottle on hand and I've never found another product that produces similar results.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Hard as Nails

I love this and use it as a base and top coat. It dries quickly and I think it really does strengthen my nails. They recently changed the packaging- the cap use to close awkwardly and sometimes the polish would leak, but the new cap seems to work really well. I usually get the clear but it comes in a few tinted varieties I've used before too. A must for any at home manicure!

Lip Gloss -DuWop - Lip Venom

I love lip venom but find I can't use it too often- If i use it for more than a few days in a row, I will break out around my lips a little. The taste and smell is great and it does plump up your lips a bit. The tingling doesn't bother me and I think the slightly tinted gloss is a great natural look, and you can dress it up or down. The packaging is cute, if the product is a bit small. It does last a long time. Save the cardboard tube if you can though- mine always ends up lost, then little gross grains of sand from my purse collect around the cap of the gloss and I am constantly cleaning it. I wish it was available in more store since I don't have a sephora near me.

Hair Color -Clairol - Nice 'n Easy Perfect 10

I love this hair dye! I have been using it for over 2 years. I started out with shade 6r, then 5r, and have settled on 4r which is the darkest red. The color goes on evenly and I dye it every 6 weeks. My hair is always super soft & shiny and smells GREAT after using. Going darker was not a problem and the colors transitioned nicely. I sometimes leave it on longer than 10 minutes and never have had a problem. It does fade a bit *but* I work outside in the sun and I'm sure it doesn't help. By the time the 6 weeks are up I dye my whole head rather than my roots. I don't love using the brush-applicator, I find just squeezing the color into my hand and applying that way is much easier, but I suspect if I was doing just my roots or I had thinner hair the brush applicator would be great. The conditioner included is my favorite and I love that you can buy it separately.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

I got this as a free full size sample at Macys. I would NOT pay for this product. I expected a really great moisturizer from Clinique, but was disappointed. Its more of a gel than a lotion and did not absorb into my skin. The smell was a little funny and the gel felt really gross on my fingers when applying- it left a film. On my face, it didn't seem to help my dry patches much, and it pilled and sat on my skin rather than soaking in. I didn't notice any improvement in my skin at all.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Color Pen

I did like this product a lot, even though I had a few problems with it. The colors to choose from are great- they have a line of chrome colors that Sally Hansen used to have in a regular bottle but had discontinued. The brush is pretty big and its a little awkward to get the hang of applying it at first. Figuring out how many times to click for the correct amount of polish is a bit of a trail & error process. I found it easy to apply even with the brush size- It was easy to get a grip on the pen, much easier than holding and dipping and worrying about drips from a regular bottle. The polish dried VERY quickly so applying a 2nd coat & top coat was a quick process. Less than 24 hours later I had a few small chips at the tips, but touch-ups were super easy and blended very smoothly thanks to the brush. I wonder if a non-chrome color would chip less. I will probably buy this again, even though its a little pricey for about 1/2 the polish in a regular bottle because its easy to keep in my bag for touch ups on the go.
