I got a small sample of this with my cleanser... i have very oily skin, and recently i just got two "welts" on my forehead that look like horns ready to bust through the surface (thankfully, it's not one on either side of my head...) there's obviously some sort of issue going on under the surface, so i thought i'd try to use this as just a spot treatment on the "lumps" so far, after 2 days I honestly think it's working wonders. I read some of the other reviews, and while i wouldn't use this as a daily moisturizer on days i was planning to wear make up (due to the flaking issue) you can tell by the consistency of the product and the matte-ability of it that it wouldn't be ideal for that. I like to use it at night or on days when i don't apply make-up. I think the product has great value if used correctly.
