This was by far the harshest scrub I have ever used. The particles are large and very irritating. How can she possibly recommend such a harsh product for acne prone skin??? Irritating acne with such harsh scrubs will only make it worse. I have switched to using salicylic acid as an exfoliant and I no longer have to feel that pain.

Despite my better judgement, I spent a ton of money on these products hoping they would be worth the price. They are not! I used the Mud Lavender Wash, the Aromasol, the Omega Oil and the Hydrasoft Lotion on a daily basis and all I got was more problems with my skin. I don't know if I was allergic to something but my face broke out in these tiny little bumps everywhere. I kept thinking they would clear up, but months after I started using these products I realized that they were the cause. I had other people asking me what happened to my face it was so bad. I stopped using all the products and switched to Philosophy. All the bumps are gone and my face thanks me everyday!

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

I can't say enough about this cleanser. For years I have been buying cleansers designed for oily skin not realizing just how harsh they were. My skin was producing more oil just to compensate for the stripping during cleansing. After three bottles of Purity, I don't think I'll ever go back to another cleanser. It takes off all makeup (I tested with toner to make sure there were no traces of makeup left) and leaves skin so soft without feeling stripped. It is pricey at $20 for 8 oz. but Sephora just got a new kit with Purity and Hope in a Jar for $24! That's a great deal if you use Hope in a Jar (which I do and love).

Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

Great moisturizer for my oily and prone to monthly breakouts skin. I'm a regular user of acne treatments which can cause flakiness. This moisturizer is very light in consistency and yet moisturizes better than anything else I've tried (and I've tried many). It does have an unpleasant smell, but I have gotten so used to it that I don't even notice it anymore. I'm on my third jar and will keep purchasing.
