Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure
AestyPase26 11/20/2012 3:56:00 PM
This is what I moved to using after the Moroccan Oil became too expensive for my hair. It's love and I will continue to buy it! Just remember, less is more and never use near the roots of your hair. :) I also use it as a body moisturizer if I'm feeling kinda dry, it's super silky on the skin as well so this is a fabulous product! The SPF factor of this product is between a 3 and 5 so it offers a little protection but not much. In fact, it's not enough even for 30 min out in the sun but it does add valuable nutrition to your body and hair so I'd def think about getting this stuff.

Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Dickinson's Witch Hazel
AestyPase26 11/20/2012 3:50:00 PM
After looking for a toner for YEARS I've finally found one that makes me feel clean and hydrated! This is now a staple in my beauty routine for both day and nightly use... I make my makeup remover with this also: 50% Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Cold pressed) and 50% Dickinson's Witch Hazel. Place in bottle, shake before each use and use a cotton ball to clean of makeup and gunk before nightly cleansing. Then follow with a cotton ball of the witch hazel as a toner after cleansing. I pay under $10 for this at Walmart which is great!! Roughly with tax it's just over $6.00.

Other -Unlisted Brand - Baking Soda

So many uses!! I use it as a natural cleaner for my house, as a soak for baths/body exfoliant, use as a facial exfoliant, for cloth diapers in the bin before they're to be washed, use on bug bites and stings etc.... Seriously another item I have to always have in my house!

Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Tea Tree Oil
AestyPase26 11/20/2012 3:41:00 PM
Works great but the smell kills me haha So I gave my bottle away. If it's mixed with another scent to kinda cover it up I'm better with it but this was one of those things that haunted me during my first trimester and now I can't stand how it smells...

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Lemon Juice
AestyPase26 11/20/2012 3:38:00 PM
Wonderful for that emergency zit problem! Esp after the blemish pops and you want it to fully die, :) Also wonderful for clearing blackheads! A fresh lemon or as organic as possible is best. Just avoid sun exposure when in use, thus my using it at night.

Mascara -Dejavu (Imju) - Fiberwig Lash Knockout
AestyPase26 11/20/2012 3:35:00 PM
Yet another product I loved bc it made my lashes look so incredibly natural and soft but the price is WAY too expensive for something that won't last more than 4 mos at a pop. Wish it was cheaper... That's for sure.

Hair -Moroccanoil - Moroccan Oil

Loved the product but hate the price... Too expensive when I can buy Jojoba Oil from Whole Foods for cheaper and it'll do the same thing for MUCH less!

Powder -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder
AestyPase26 11/20/2012 3:29:00 PM
This has a very slight shimmer to it depending on which loose powder in their Talc free that you buy so I use it as a hi-light vs an all over powder. Now if I'm wanting to look more "dewy" I'll use it all over but I'll use a very small amount. Less is more! All in all I like this but use it sparingly! It will make a mess or go on too thick if you don't pay attention to your surroundings/application. Use a bigger fluffy brush and all if well for all over application :)

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
AestyPase26 11/20/2012 3:23:00 PM
I can't live with out this! I use this in my homemade makeup remover and my skin has seriously changed bc of it. I have a healthier glow about my face before bed now as it really helps break down the gunk from my day. I use 50% Olive Oil and 50% Witch Hazel in a bottle then shake it up and use a cotton ball to remove all my makeup each night. This is such a wonderful way to help kill bacteria on your skin and gently calm any angry spots. (i.e. Hormonal Acne.) Just makes sure you really wash your face good to cleanse off any oil residue and you'll be as good as gold! Took my skin a week or so to get used to this but now it's very happy I use it. *note* Make sure it's COLD PRESSED when buying.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub
AestyPase26 11/20/2012 3:17:00 PM
I got a sample of this not long ago and read the reviews on here first. I do agree that it may be too harsh for the face if somebody doesn't know how to use a course scrub properly. However, I like it as a body scrub! The smell reminds me of something from my childhood so it's a rather nice thing to use during a shower, for me at least. :) I'm still on the fence if I'd actually buy it again... It smells nice but the fragrance is pretty high on the toxic scale (A level 8) and regardless of it saying it doesn't have sulfates it actually does. Etc... I try really hard to avoid stuff like that.

These are a great thing for my purse for that midday oil touchup! It's fast and super easy and lightweight so it doesn't add to the weight of your purse haha

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - 3-Step System
AestyPase26 11/16/2012 8:03:00 PM
After my sister bought this I started school to become and aesthetician... I noticed something about this product. It didn't work. In fact, it was so aggressive it was tearing my sister's skin up! It looked awful under a mag light and she was using it the way they tell you to. Come to learn more it's one of the worst systems you can EVER use on your face for acne. It may work at first but then your issues may come back tenfold or it will start to cause permanent damage. I cringe when people tell me they use this stuff!

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
AestyPase26 11/16/2012 7:46:00 PM
This was just like using a concealer on my eyes...I didn't find anything special about it. Wanted to love it bc I adore Urban Decay but sadly no. Just not worth the money. I could use a good concealer plus some pressed powder to get the same staying power if I chose to do so.

Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
AestyPase26 11/16/2012 7:42:00 PM
I bought this for those nasty dry hands I get now an then, esp when you have to constantly wash your hands as an Aesthetician. This is one my favorites list!! It's very thick and you only need a little bit, or else you'll be looking for other locations to moisturize haha It's really fantastic. :)

Lip Treatments -Carmex - LipBalm
AestyPase26 11/15/2012 3:50:00 PM
I would only buy this product again for use of cold sores an nothing else... I got a cold sore from using a kleenex in my purse that had been up against some cash and I needed to blot my lipstick. (Never again!) This killed it pretty fast when I mixed the treatment with icing my cold sore several times a day followed by this product. However, it's a level 6 on the toxic radar and that's not what I like to see when putting something on my body. 4 Ingredients are considered not healthy, 2 if put in high enough amounts would make this a level 7 or higher... (The fragrance and phenol are what could make it a higher toxic risk) But as a treatment this does work. I just won't use this on a daily basis.
