PROS that I found for myself: - Smells very fresh - Did not irritate my skin at all - Has INCREDIBLE face makeup removing power when used with my Sephora scrublet - Keeps my normal to combination skin clear - Does not make my skin feel tight afterwards - Lasts 4-5 months with daily use - Has a pump - The price at $20 CAD for something I love and that lasts, is not a problem at all CONS that I found for myself: - Unless I use it with my Sephora scrublet, the makeup removing power is sub par
I've been using this moisturizer for about 3 months now, so I can accurately give my opinion on this product... Which I LOVE! I have combination skin, but my entire moisturizer-using life I've been drawn towards oil free moisturizers. Everyone said that if your skin is on the oily side, go for oil free. But that's not always the case. Basically (for some skin types that tend to be more oily) if you avoid oils like the plague, your skin produces more, which does make sense. So if you use a moisturizer with oil, over time your skin will begin to produce less oil. This moisturizer is not oil free, but rather gel based... Giving combination skin the best of both worlds. I find it hydrates my skin perfectly in my more dry areas, while not weighing down my oily areas. I have also noticed my skin definitely produces less oil than when I started using this product. Although something to note, it does not go on matte at all (for me). Not insanely shiny, but I wouldn't put this on and then go out. I'd definitely at least put on some powder to dull down the shine it leaves. But even so, this moisturizer is just perfect. If you don't like product that are scented, stay away, it definitely has a scent (which I enjoy). And at the seemingly steep price of $50, if you're like me and have yet to find the perfect moisturizer, give this a try, it may be yours as well! Therefore making the price tag well worth it :)
Wow... to the person below me, thank you for enlightening me on the LED light! I've had this for about 3 months now, never noticed it. HOW GREAT IS THAT?! Anyways, love love love this gloss. It's opaque which I love in a gloss. On my lip colour it's actually quite nude, just adds a touch more pink. I don't find it sticky at all as my lips touch each other, but if my hair gets dragged across my face, a few hairs always get stuck. Lovely smell of vanilla. It's also great to put over top of different colours. I usually put it over MAC's shy girl and just love the mix of the pinkyness of GOSH 301 with the peachyness of shy girl. Love this product. Great colour pay off, great formula, great, smell, great packaging (mirror and LED light!). This is my go to lip colour product.
Lip Treatments -Blistex - DCT for lips - Daily Conditioning Treatment SPF 20

This is my HG lip balm and that is saying a lot for me. I used to have SUCH terrible lips. I would never even try to wear lipstick or even lipgloss because no matter what, the condition my lips were in made the products look extremely unappealing. Lipstick and lipgloss would just enhance the dry, flakey bits of my lips. I also always had skin peeling towards the inside of my lips. I could actually pull off disturbingly large pieces of dead skin from my lips. Point of all of this... my lips were in TERRIBLE shape. I tried carmex at night and would wake up with seemingly nice lips, but within an hour of waking up that would disappear. I have tried a plethora of other lip balms and nothing ever healed my lips. I visited my doctor for a prescription, but she recommended Blistex DCT. All I can say is, WHERE HAS DCT BEEN ALL MY LIFE?! DCT has changed my lips forever. I apply it liberally to my lips before bed and wake up with soft, supple lips that last all-day-long!!! I can now confidently wear lipstick, without the gross flakes. It had been so long since I had soft, healthy lips... I could have cried of joy I was so happy DCT worked for me. Only downfall, the packaging. But I don't mind.
I'm fair, with a comparison of being 20 in MUFE's face and body foundation. Currently, I use this solely as a blush along my cheek bones. I haven't used it as an all over face bronzer, I prefer face bronzers to have no shimmer whatsoever. Not too brown, not too orange. It's on the peachy side on my skin. When I did a swatch on my hand in Sephora it was much more shimmery than when applied to my face, which was a slight disappointment since I wanted something quite shimmery for my cheeks. Nonetheless I use it basically everyday since purchased. Lasting power is mediocre and the only complaint about packaging is I wish it came with a mirror. Also, the little muffin pan initially is cute but a huge waste of foil and styrofoam. Not a product that blows me away, but I'd repurchase again.
My HG blush! I have boughten it 3 times now, it has yet to let me down. The perfect peachy blush for my fair, beige-undertoned skin. One of MAC's "frost" finish blushes, I love how it catches the light on my face and gives that little bit of shimmer. I only wear peachy coloured blushes, and let me tell you I have tried a lot! Always go back to Style. I don't wear it heavily, but enough to give my face a wonderful glow :)
I was so excited when I heard about this. I heard it was very comparable to my HG MUFE Face and Body, plus it is cheaper and comes with more product. But boy am I disappointed. The finish it leaves on my skin is horrible, so shiny. It is very sticky to the touch once applied. It gets thick quite fast when working with fingers so you need to blend faster. Also, it smells very strange, similar to coca cola possibly? With so many great reviews I really had high hopes! That all being said, packaging is great wow! But my skin has just never agreed with MAC products. Sigh! Back to my HG.
At first I liked this product. I would apply it and my face would not have too much shine to it, although I would still set it with powder. I liked the way my skin looked overall, right after having applied it. However as far as lasting power goes... it sucks. I have combination skin and within 3 hours my face looks extremely oily (more oily than it naturally is). I also found that it made my skin feel slightly greasy and tacky to the touch. Not very appealing. It is quite a shame as I do love the consistency of it and that it did not break me out. Unfortunately, I will not buy this product again. Although I can see it being suitable for someone who has normal-dry skin.
My HG of facial cleansers. It has made my skin look the best it ever has. My skin tone is so much more even and I am breakout free. One downside is that it does not remove makeup well. However I always have my no brand makeup remover wipes handy, so that's not a big deal! The overall appearance of my skin is completely worth the extra step of removing makeup before hand. It's also super gentle. When working it into my skin for about 40 seconds or so I really feel as though I'm doing my skin good :)

I have oily skin... And this did nothing with helping control oil. It did keep true to its claims of full coverage, but I felt it was too thick and cakey on my face. I felt very weighed down. Also, being summer time with high temperatures really didn't help this review as it made me feel clogged and shiny. Gave a very bad texture to my skin, making me feel sticky a couple hours after application even with a powder to set. It also made me break out, with me normally having no acne and semi sensetive skin. I wanted to try out an oil free, full coverage foundation and regret it. Personally, this is not the one for me. I think I'll stick with my HG MUFE sheer coverage foundation.
My HG of bronzers! It's perfect, especially for people who go brown when they are tanned as it looks SO natural and can make almost any skin tone deepen. There are no orangey tinges to it, which I love! I also love the fact that it has no shimmer, but is very matte. It smells... strange, but it totally worth it! Expensive, but mine has lasted me a year with regular use during winter months and less use during the summer months! And still isn't empty. Will definitely buy again!
I personally do not like this concealer. Although I do admit it has a wonderful, full coverage and does brighten under-eye circles... The way it feels on my face really isn't so wonderful. It feels slightly sticky on my face, as if I were very greasy. Defintely not light weight. It also sinks into the lines underneath my eyes, so at the end of the day when I look in the mirror I go "OH NO!". I just wish the way it sat on my face were different and that it lasted longer because I really do like the coverage. But there are many other concealers with full coverage that don't leave my face sticky. Also, once you get to the bottom getting the conealer out is a pain since it gets under your nails. I did not buy this again.
Moisturizers -Bliss Labs - Steep Clean Moisture Lotion

This moisturizer is wonderful. I have boughten it twice now. Super light weight, absorbs quickly, and it DOES mattify... At least for my skin it does all that. I have never purchased it in the glass bottle however, only the new "Steep Clean Mattifying moisturizer". I don't normally even have to use a primer with this moisturizer which I find great! It's also great if you have sensetive skin like me, as it has not once made me breakout. EDIT: After regular use for a few months it unfortunately began to make my face itchy! I switched to another moisturizer and the itchy went away. A few weeks ago I switched back to this one (I loved it too much to give up that easily) and as for now, no itching :) Just something I thought I'd share
The good: - Leavesmy skin super soft - Has evened out my skin tone - Helps with sebum control for my oily skin - Smells great - Scrubbing beads are not too rough The bad: - Does not live up to the brightening claims
Concealers -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Concealer [DISCONTINUED]

This concealer is magnificent! Amazing coverage, with a very matte finish. Does not look or feel cakey at all. I have tried many concealers from MUFE, MAC, Clinique, Benefit, you name it. If not blended well however, it can leave strange looking patches in natural light. The mousse consistency really agrees with my oily skin. Not to mention I can't complain about the price! Has never made me break out, would definitely buy again.
