I like this a lot. It's not my favourite, but it is a great glossy black, and gave me substantial length and volume. I like that it's a wet formula, but it's a little too heavy for my taste. While its buildable and handles multiple coats pretty well, any curl I've put in my lashes is straightened out by the weight of the product. Happily, it washes off cleanly without any need for remover! So, all in all, a decent back up for my HG.
Gorgeous, vibrant orange-tomato-red!!! I was so surprised at the colour pay off and the shade. DS lipstick doesn't usually pass muster, as much as a I try. Yes, this is an intense shade. But it's also perfect with navy and white, and an otherwise bare summer face! I've gotten a bunch of compliments and everyone has been surprised this is a Revlon. I really like the formula too. It lasts forever on me, and is super lightweight. No scent, no shimmer. A surprise hit!
I saw the Pret-a-Papier ad campaign, asked which blush the model was wearing and bought it. Absolutely my most impromptu impulse buy yet. And I'm so happy with it! When I came on here to check out the reviews, I found that a lovely MUAer did a "creamscicle" themed look using this blush on the makeup board, and I think that's the best description possible for the shade. It's a cremey orangey peach that has zero shimmer, and doesn't go muddy or yellow on my skin. Sheertones are my favourite and this soft, buildable shade lives up to my expectations. I was surprised to read reviewers had trouble with colour pay off - I have to use a light hand or I end up looking a little too peach-i-fied (admittedly I am fair).
Misc Beauty Tools -Tweezerman - Metal Eye Lash Comb

Purchased this on a whim -- now I won't be without it. I comb through before, and then just after applying mascara (while it's still wet) and I'm set! I've been able to use up a few otherwise clumpy tubes of mascara that I would have thrown out otherwise. Explaining what it was doing in my carry on to flight security was a little dicey, but otherwise this has been perfect! Huge difference from those stupid plastic ones.
I wanted to love this - the scent is great, I love the thick-ish texture and who doesn't love this kicky packaging? Unfortunately, it dried out my lips pretty badly. Not sure why, but as a result I won't be re-buying this adorable little melon item.
All around awesome stuff. Dark, glossy, doesn't smudge or flake and lasts 12 hours without getting itchy. Buildable volume and gives beautiful length. Really affordable ($9) at Ulta. Washes off cleanly - more in pieces that in a runny mess - without need for an eye makeup remover. Even with the great reviews here, this turned out to be a terrific surprise I'm adding to my list of staples.
Bleached my hair, bleached my eyebrows, bleached my bedsheets. Why in the world did I think it was a good idea to continue to use this on my face? Yeah, sure, cleared up outbreaks at the beginning - like any benzoyl peroxide would. And all it did after about a week was strip the life out of my skin, cause more breakouts and make me hyper sensitive. It took at least 6 months to get my skin barrier back in shape. Don't buy the hype - there are much gentler ways to clean your skin, prevent and treat acne.
Wont' ever be without this. Makes my nails so shiney they look like candies. Dries super fast, makes even my cheap poilishes last at least 5 days but often more. Since discovering this, I only change shades for fun, or because typing has worn the colour off the tips.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner

Love love love! Darkest black, creamy like a gel in the ease of pencil, sets wicked fast, and lasts all day. I have to sharpen it every time I use it (just a tad to get the point back), but it's worth it. An awesome $7 spent at Ulta.
Tried this for two days after my mother gave it rave reviews. I should have checked here first because it broke me out horribly - like no other foundation has. I went from having really clear (albeit unevenly colored) skin, to having a splattering of tiny little white heads all over my cheeks and chin. That are still lingering a week later despite all by best efforts. GRR. It did a great job of evening out my splotchiness, and felt great on. But NO way will I ever use this again. boo.
I bought this when I was on an orange-red hair kick, and wore it daily (big deal for me!) Now, three years later, I just rediscovered it as a brunentte and I still love it! And, three years later it smells the same. feels the same and is the same colour. weird, but nice, no? It is a real peach with a hint of tan and just a teensy big of pink to keep it from going tangerine. I was shocked to see this is a frost. The shimmer is tiny and I find it to be more of a cream than anything. This, plus peach twist, might just be a new favourite easy summer face. Singular downside: if I apply it too thickly out of the tube it looks chalky, but that's easily fixed with a blot.
Ghastly! I agree - you either love this one or hate it. Normally I'm a fan of Lush's sweeter fragrances (Rock Star Soap, MMM Bath Melt, Creamy Candy Bubble Bar). But this is just overwhelming, and the smell reminds me of sweet-scented rubber meets strawberry pepto. And the scent does not clear out of the bathroom or off my skin until the next shower!
Easy to use, very fine tip, auto-sharpening, lasts forever, looks natural (I am have it in dark brown for more drama and medium brown for day to day), and stays put like you wouldn't believe! Plus, I got it for about 3 bucks on sale at Ulta, The little comb on the end is great for a fast brush through or touch up. Won't ever be without this!
Creamy, no shimmer shade. On me, the first coat was similar to the nude colour sample picture, above, but was not opaque enough for my taste. The second coat turned the colour a more dusty-mauve nude shade. After 4 days I only have the teeniest bit of tip wear. Definitely a good purpley leaning nude.
Hooray for a cheap, non-sticky duplicate of MAC Lust! I hate the fake rootbeer scent, but it goes away after a while and the price plus the colour makes it a winner anyway. Gorgeous!
