I've been using this product for over a month now and I must say I love it. This is my first gel eyeliner product that I've ever tried as I've been using pencil eyeliner for years. My friend recommended me this brand as she had been using it as well. I got the color Espresso Ink which is a nice black/brown. The staying power of this product is amazing. I have monolids as well as oily eyelids and it stays on all day (with primer of course). There may be some smudging if I have a long long day (10+ hrs) but nothing like the mess pencil eyeliners gave me. It looks like this product will last a long time as not much is needed each time you apply it on. I would buy it again in the future if I run out.

Moisturizers -Korres - Wild Rose 24-Hour Cream

I've been using this product for over half a year now and I must say that I love it. I've been using it more often now that the weather has gotten colder (I live in Canada). The cream works as a heavier moisturizer for my skin and I feel as though its definitely helped my skin. I believe it does brighten your skin a bit as it claims. I've been trying to fade some acne scars for some time and I've found that my skin has gotten alot better since using this product. I have also not broken out from it so that is a bonus. The only complaint I have is the packaging...the jar packaging is not that hygienic. It's also a bit on the pricey side for me as its $44 (CDN) at Sephora. Overall I can deal with the negative aspects of this product (the packaging and the cost) since the positives outweigh the negatives. I will definitely be buying this cream again!

Eyes -MAC - Paint Pot in Rubenesque

I bought this paint pot about a year ago and I've been using it everyday since! It was also my first product and paint pot from MAC and I'm happy to say that I don't regret buying it at all! I absolutely love the colour. What i usually do when I'm in a rush (which is almost every morning) is apply rubenesque on my lids, black eyeliner, and mascara and I'm good to go! Another good thing about this paint pot (or MAC's paint pots in general) are that they last forever! I'm not even done half of mine and I've used it for over a year. I will definitely be repurchasing this when I'm out because i probably wouldn't be able to complete my look without it.

Sunscreen -Shiseido - ultra sun protection lotion spf 50

I bought this sunscreen a while back and thought it was breaking me out so I stopped using it. I switched to another sunscreen and when i ran out of that i went back to this product to give it a second chance. I am so glad i gave this sunscreen a second chance because it didn't break me out after all! i've been using this for almost a year and i love it! I recently even bought a new bottle from sephora. I like how lightweight and moisturizing it is so it doesn't feel like you have to slather on a ton of product. I also find that it keeps my face more matte during the day and that's a huge bonus; i dont have to keep blotting my face every hour, especially during the summer. On another note, since this sunscreen is very water resistant, you have to wash it off with an oil based cleanser. I dont mind this as this has also benefited me (my skin has gotten clearer). Secondly, the price may be a bit expensive (49 cdn at sephora) but its lasted me for so long that i won't hesitate to buy another bottle once im done!! This is a good everyday sunscreen that doesn't break me out and i love it!!

Concealers -Make Up For Ever - Full Cover Concealer

I would buy this product again in a heartbeat. I've tried many concealers and nothing works like MUFE full cover. It literally camouflages any flaws or blemishes on my face!! You also don't need a lot of product to conceal anything; a tube can last for a long time and is well worth the expensive price. Other good points: 1) It is waterproof 2) it works well on my acne prone skin - does not appear to cause any breakouts 3) the tube packaging is very hygienic! Good product that claims what it does. I've used this for a year now and it has definitely become my go to concealer.

Skincare - Face -Avene - Thermal Water

I love thermal water. I use it to set makeup, to refresh my face during the day, and to hydrate my dry skin. Since i get hard water from my tap, i find that this thermal water soothes my skin after its exposure to hard chemicals. My boyfriend also teases me when i buy it but he doesn't understand. Its amazing for setting makeup as it doesnt cause the makeup to run. It gives me that natural look im achieving. Furthermore, a spritz on my face during the day refreshes my makeup and makes my foundation look less cakey. I also use it after i cleanse my face as a toner to get rid of the harsh chemicals found in the hard water i use from my tap. I will repurchase once i run out!

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

The first time I tried this product I was in awe at how fast it dried. I find that it only protects my nails from chipping a few days longer than other top coats. My problems of chipping may also be due to the fact that I do a lot of cleaning/cooking around the flat where my nail polish is more prone to chipping. This top coat is better than all the other ones I own and will probably repurchasing unless I find a better one. Chipping is bound to happen but it seems like this top coat protects it from chipping for a few more days. As i mentioned before I also like the drying time of this top coat and that is a huge factor when im in a rush.

Cleansers -Boscia - MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil

I've tried many cleansing oils and I prefer this one over the other ones I have tried. I'm on my third bottle of this after my discovery with cleansing oils a year and a half ago. I like the consistency of this nor do I break out from this. I find that it takes off all my makeup completely; I do however follow up with a regular cleanser just to make sure the oil has been completely washed off. It doesn't dry out my skin and i love the pump bottle it comes in. Will be repurchasing again once I run out

Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Aquaphor Healing Ointment

This is an amazing product!! I have heard good things about Aquaphor in the past and on MUA - it isn't available over the counter here in Canada but you have to ask a pharmacist to buy it. I was in NYC last summer and decided to go into a drugmart to find aquaphor. And behold my long journey with this wonderful product began. I don't know how I would have not survived without this in the harsh Canadian winter. I used it for my eczema prone areas in the fall and fell in love with it by the time winter came. It is a miracle worker. I get very dry and itchy and all I do is slather this on at night and in the morning I wake up with less itch/redness/rash on my arms. Not only do I use this on my body but its amazing for my lips. I get chapped lips so easily and I used to use vaseline on them until I found aquaphor. It doesn't just sit on top of my lips like a heavy layer; it puts moisture back into them. I would highly recommend this to anyone with problem prone skin; it is amazing for my eczema and I don't know how I would have lived without it for so long.

Toners -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Vitamin C Balancing Facial Toner

I've been using this toner for about 4-5 months now and i love it. It does the job because you can also see that it does remove traces of dirt, etc. that you missed while washing your face. The smell is a pleasant citrus smell and it absorbs into the skin fairly fast. I have noticed that my acne scars have faded faster due to this product. However it does take time to work. I am happy with this product and will continue to buy it

I love this color. It is so unique and I find myself starring at it all the time when i put it on. It is a grey/purple/brown color that is hard to describe. Sometimes when i'm wearing a purple shirt i find it more purple but sometimes when im wearing grey it looks more grey. I love this color and am halfway through the bottle! Will be buying it again when i run out. The only annoying thing is that the polish has turned somewhat goopy halfway through so it is harder to apply.

Love this vampy eggplant purple. I have yet to try Lincoln Park After Dark so i don't know how different they are. This color however is gorgeous in sunlight!

Treatments -Make Up For Ever - Mist and Fix

I bought this product due the rave reviews on MUA and was disappointed. I usually use Avene's thermal water to set my makeup and i did not like the smelll of mist and fix. I also was not a fan of how it felt on my face. However i felt that this did help my makeup stay put (but so does the thermal water). I'm glad that I only got the smaller size of this because I won't be buying this again.

Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Elta Gold UV Shield SPF 45

I went to a derm for acne in Jan 2009 and he had asked what sunscreen I was using. At that time i would occasionally use Neutrogena sunscreen (somedays i would forget). When he heard about this he recommended me the Elta MD UV shield spf 45. I found myself liking this sunscreen as the consistency made it easy to apply. I even found myself using it everyday so that is a plus (with my new found knowledge about how harmful the sun can be)! However, it does leave a white cast as it contains zinc oxide. I don't mind this because it makes my skin look even better (I have some scarring from acne). The bad thing about this was after two months of using this i developed moderate acne. At that time I never suspected it was this sunscreen so i continued using it (Some ingredients in this sunscreen are highly clogging). 4-5 months ago i started using cleansing oils to fully remove my sunscreen and that has helped keep my face clear (along with other medications). This sunscreen isnt bad although the protection is not as good as other sunscreens. The important thing is to remove the sunscreen properly at night to make sure your skin does not get clogged from the ingredients. I would buy this product again if I had no other sunscreen to go to. I am currently still using this but am trying other sunscreens as well.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Light

I bought the sample size of this product 3-4 months ago and am still using it! I am glad that this primer does not break me out; it also smooths the appearance of my face. It also helps keep my foundation stay longer. I only have to blot once during the day to keep my oily skin (due to the hot humid summer weather) looking fresh! The only downside is the price, the sample sized tube was 28 dollars (since I live in Canada) for 15 ml. I will probably be repurchasing since this product did not break me out. However the price is my only concern!
