Great product! Super moisturizing and not greasy at all. Completely smooths down any rough skin on your cuticle and stretches out your manicures. The smell is amazing too!

Lip Treatments -Nivea - Lip Butter

I bought the Caramel Creme Kiss scent at Target and I LOVE this product! Price: super cheap they were $3-4 bucks at Target Smell: Amazing! Super sweet and delicious Moisturizing Quality: Amazing! These lip butters are super thick and creamy and they are the perfect nighttime lip treatment. These might be a little thick and slick to wear under lipstick during the day because the texture is so creamy the lipstick might smear off. These actually remind me a lot of my Korres lip butters-they feel like a luxury lip balm. Packaging: I actually love the fact that this comes in a tin as I prefer tins but if you find tins unsanitary you might want to try the Nivea chopsticks that come in a tube form.

Concealers -The Body Shop - Lightening Touch(Reformulated)
rated 4 of 5

This is my favorite concealer by far! I have tried a few others that I like (BoI-ing by Benefit and the Sonia Kashuk concealer palette) but both were too heavy. I am an NC25 with combo oily skin-and I wear shade 04 in Lightening Touch. What I love most about this product is the creaminess of it. A lot of other concealers I have tried seem too pasty or cakey. This one is super light and creamy and almost feels moisturizing. I use it on my under eyes, around my nose, and on any blemishes. I love the packaging and I will def be repurchasing this again! It's only $12 USD so I think it's a great deal!

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Brown
rated 3 of 5

I really wanted to like this product but it wasn't for me and def was not worth the price! It does lengthen lashes but it gets sticky and draggy really quickly. It clumps lashes together instead of separating and giving volume. Overall a waste of money and I might even return it at Sephora for a different brand.

Polishes -Essie - Brooch the Subject
rated 5 of 5

I love this polish and I love it! I have trouble with most nude polishes not being opaque enough for me, but this one is super opaque and has a creamy quality to it. As with most Essie polishes, this one is long lasting and looks great under a coat of SV!

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Pomegranate Punk
rated 3 of 5
Aclark7351 1/17/2012 8:44:00 PM

When I saw these shadows on Temptalia I was super excited because I love cream shadows and I recently have been having lots of fun with drugstore products. I looked all over for these shadows, just an FYI they are sold out on the Maybelline site, and even on ULTA they have limited shades. The neutral shades seem to be going the fastest. I picked up four shades total; Pomegranate Punk, Bold Gold, Bad to the Bronze, and Edgy Emerald. So far I have only tried the Pomegranate Punk. When I first tried it I put it on w/o any primer to see what the color payoff was like and if it truly would resist creasing. I wore it all afternoon and it didn't crease at all, but the color did fade a little. I tried it a second time with a UDPP underneath and I built up the color a bit more and it looked vibrant for a long time. I love this shadow because it's a gorgeous plumy, pink color that makes a pretty smokey eye but can also be natural. I blended it up into my crease and it blends really well with a fluffy brush. I would probably not re-purchase this product again because I have so much much makeup I probably won't ever use this up. I will pick it up in other shades though!

Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - microfinishing powder
rated 2 of 5
Aclark7351 1/12/2012 2:57:00 AM

I bought the test size jar of this from Sephora so I could try it with my HD MUFE foundation. I really didn't notice a huge difference between this finishing powder and any other powder I use over the top of liquid foundation. I have pretty oily skin and this really didn't provide a superior finish to BareMineral Mineral Veil, or my MAC powder. I also really dislike the packaging of the sample product, it is so small that it makes it impossible to get any powder brush into the lid to swirl around the powder.

Lip Treatments -LUSH - Bubblegum Lip Scrub
rated 3 of 5
Aclark7351 1/12/2012 1:36:00 AM

This is just an okay product for me. I have been using the Brown Sugar lip scrub from Fresh for a few months and I love it because it has the sugar in it as an exfoliant and a balm in it for smoothness. The Bubblegum scrub from Lush only has the exfoliant so the sugar doesn't actually stick to my lips, and it makes it kind of hard to actually use the product. The only reason I tried this product was because it was so much cheaper than the Fresh product (only $6 dollars vs $25 for Fresh) but I don't really ever use it, and I probably won't re-purchase it again.

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Boi-ing
rated 4 of 5
Aclark7351 1/9/2012 11:32:00 PM

I love the Boi-Ing concealer from Benefit, here's why! Product: This concealer is thick like a cream foundation, which makes it's coverage much better than liquid concealers. It comes in only three shades, (light, medium, deep) and it blends flawlessly with my skin tone regardless of whether I am pale or tan. The thicker application allows me to really cover up red areas, under eye circles, and red blemishes. It doesn't get cakey, even when you build it up. I have patted it on with my fingers and have also used a concealer brush, it definitely goes on better with a brush. Packaging: This concealer comes in a little pot which I love, because it allows me to dip my brush in for easy and mess free application. It has a screw top. Price: At $18 it is a little pricier than some concealers, but a little goes a long way and I will totally re-purchase this product even with the high price point.
