My friends swore by this mascara but I am not a fan of it. The formula is very thick and prone to clumping. It made my lashes stick together so I ended up with basically three mega-lashes on each eye. Not cute. It was a pain to wash off and it smelled bad, although the scent faded after it dried.

I don't understand why this foundation has such a bad rating! This was my first Almay foundation and I honestly can't think of switching to any other product. I got it in Ivory (the lightest shade) and I am blown away by how nicely it blends into my skin. I think the key to this foundation is to use a primer. I tried it once without primer and it was patchy and icky looking. Tried again with primer and voila, it was basically an air-brushed effect. It makes my skin look soft and alive. The little sparkles in it are extremely tiny, I probably wouldn't have noticed them if I didn't know they were there. The pump is really convenient and I haven't had any mechanical issues with it. The only thing that sort of bothers me is the scent. It fades in a few minutes, but it's a fairly strong plastic-y scent. Another thing I noticed was that after touching my face, my hands get covered in sparkles. The foundation itself stays on, but the little sparkles fall off. I found that using a foundation brush to apply it is the best way. At the Meijer where I bought it, it was $10.97. For an unemployed high schooler, that is sort of expensive. But really it isn't that pricey and generally accessible by many people. So this foundation is really amazing if you use primer & use a foundation brush! Would definitely buy again!

I am a huge fan of this foundation. I always end up coming back to it after my other foundations are gone. It gives me medium coverage and lasts all day. I found that the best way to apply it is with a foundation brush. One thing I noticed was when I put it over pimples, it sorts of flakes off on and around the pimple. Overall a really good foundation with lots of shades to choose from. Would buy again.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Lots of Lashes

I was hoping this would be the redemption product for Great Lash. My hopes were quickly destroyed. The formula is the exact same as the classic Great Lash. Way too watery, clumpy, and just blah. The brush did grab all of my lashes, which was nice, but it was pointless since the formula is awful. Would not buy again.

The formula is too thin and watery. All it does is darken my lashes, it doesn't elongate them or thicken them. When I applied a second coat, it clumped like crazy! It didn't flake off during the day, which is good, but there are so many other mascaras that don't flake off and are way better than Great Lash. I don't understand why it is America's #1 mascara. The packaging is cute though. Would not buy again.

This mascara is the best for "normal day" wear, like you could use it before hanging with friends or whatever. It mostly lengthens your lashes. I didn't see any significant volumizing. I love the applicator brush, it's like a comb. It helps to separate lashes to prevent clumping. The packaging is super cute! I would buy again.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

Definitely one of my favorite mascaras. The brush gets every lash and the formula really plumps them up. Very rarely does it clump, the only times I experienced clumping was when I was overapplying for the sake of seeing how many coats I could do. I found that 2 coats is the best. It lasted all day (I put makeup on at 6 am, don't take it off until 8 pm) and didn't flake one bit.
