Highlighters -E.L.F. - all over color stick in lilac petal

I recieved this as a suprise after buying a mystery bag in support of an ovarian cancer charity, and whilst i was not keen to begin with, i now really like it. This gives a really lovely colour to the cheeks, and has enoug shimmer to act as a highlight at the same time. the textures nice too although it doesnt last too long which could be a disadantage. the packaging only got a 3 because the name has completely worn off and i havent usd it that much or for that long because i only recently discoverde i like it. But you cant beat the price and i will be buying more of these hopefully! Really nice to use a cream blush for winter, and although i dont like this on my eyes or lips (it suggests you can do that) i will continue to use it as a blush.
I do love this mascara, however when i first got it it was difficult to work with. you definitely need to let this dry out a bit before using it, then it gives full, pretty lashes. unfortunately i will NOT repurchase, due to the fact that l'oreal test on animals. i wish i knew this before buying it. i will have to find a replacement mascara now, as i refuse to buy anything that has been tested on animals as i find it sickening.
Primer/ Corrector -Unlisted Brand - Accessorize Primer
AbbeyDawn4552 2/17/2013 2:49:00 PM
I bought this for £9 at superdrug one day when i was out of my other face primer, and i have to say im disapointed. I love other accessorize products that i have, (eg, a liner, eyeshadow duo and 3 nail polishes that are all gorgeous) but unfortunately i hate this primer. the primer itself is ok.. not great. It doenst glide on too well and feels kind of greasy on the skin. it also doenst help that well with helping product last longer. its better than no primer at all but still not good. the thing i HATE is the packaging. its awful beyond words. it looks pretty enough, in a white tube with butterflies like the rest of the accessorize line, but the opening of the tube is FAR too big, alllowing too much product to come out and you waste a lot. Considering this is hardly a cheap primer, im nto impressed. Also most of hte packaging seemed to be filled with air when i got it, and now i have to squeeze it tog et any to come out, but then of course because the opening is so big a ton of primer comes out whcih i then have to waste because its difficult getting it back into the bottle, if the opening ewas slightly smaller thisn wouldnt be such a problem. Worth nowehere near the price, i definitely will steer clear of this in future, and will avoid similarly packaged products from the brand.
Eyeliner -Stila - Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Peacock

First of all...i didnt plan on buying this product. but when i swatched it, i loved the colour so much i jsut had to. I felt like i could justify the price because the colour is such a gorgeous shimmering teal. It glides on pretty easily and lasts all day on me, which makes it really great for summer. I adore how this looks and have used it so many times and have since bought another colour (bluefin, ana amzing black with bright blue sparkles) and adore that too. The only problem i have with these is the packaging. it doenst feel cheap at all but im just really not a fan of twist-up pencil liners, id prefer just to use a sharpener. i know people think its much more convenient but i find that twist-up liners tend to break so much more easily, and one day you twist it to find that nothing happens. this hasnt happened yet but even so the product feels delicate and im worried it will break, which would be such a shame considering the price. nevertheless i do love the liner and would buy it again, i do wish it was cheaper, but the colour is so gorgeous i know i wont find a cheaper equivilant. :)
Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Erase Paste in Fair

originally when i bought this, i absolutely HATED it. i found it sticky, cakey, orange and overall ididnt get on with it. now ive worked out a slightly ebtter way to use it, its not my holy grail concealer. firstly, you need a good primer. and ive learnt hte tip with this is to apply with clean fingers under the eeye and blend with your fingers, otherwise a brush applies too mich and itcakse up in seconds. this still will cake up on me, just not as much. i got this in medium which is a bit too organge, btu i can make it work by applying a light concealer before, it doesnt last to long, and does crease by the end of the day. i wouldnt say its reallt worth the money, im glad i didnt pay full price and got a small version instead. I dont hate it as much as i did before, but if i do ever use it up i probably wont repurchase.
I am constantly surprised by how many people seem to like this product..i love a ton of elf products but these nail polishes are DEFINITELY a miss. im not hard to please nail polish wise, im happy to paint a few coats if the colours worth it, but i really hate these. The texture is plastic-y. it feels like im trying to paint plastic or glue onto my nails, very hard to work with and makes the colour really streaky. i dont hsve a problem with the pigmentation, thats fine, but the texture is awful. it also takes a decade to dry. meaning all of the time the colours are smudged because hours later i moved my hand and smudged them. they also claim to be "chip resistant"....hmph. they chipped within a day and im not clumsy with my nails. these are probably the first bad nail polishes ive come across, i adore 99% of the polishes i own thatanrent elf....i have three because i decided to see whether i just had duds, but i dotn like any of them. the packaging is also quite cheap and im glad i didnt pay more than £1.50.
Whilst this product is expensive, I do love the colour of it, its such a pretty poppy petaly flowery colour! It goes reallIy well with my fair skin. I do find Benefit products very expensive but I would consider buying a full sized version of this (Mine is a mini one from the "Finding Mr Bright" kit) I mainly actually use this on my lips more than my cheeks at the moment, I dont know why people are complaining of a weird taste..mine has no taste whatsoever! I love this as a lip stain, its a little bit lighter than my natural colour, and evens out my lip colour loads but still looks SUPER natural. I would especialy recommend this for fair skinned people. As a cheek stain its also pretty but if find that the action of puttting it on my cheeks and rubbing it in makes my cheeks go a bit red and i always panic and think that theyre gonna stay that way (though of course they dont) but its still lovely as a cheek stain too. This is the only one of the "tints" from Benefit that I ahave ever been interested in buying, as the others didnt look like the right sort of colours for me. The colour is also very buildable which I like! So i'm very pleased to have this product, but i think i could live without it. I think if i buy a full version of this it willl be using my points from my loyalty card as a "reward" for myself...for doing absolutely nothting! =) x
I do really like this product...it gives a REALLY nice glow when I add to my cheekbones and temples, I also add a little under the browbone. However Ive just never been able to justify it for the price. Fortunately I've never bought a full sized one, I have a couple that I got in Benefit kits and I've still got loads left, I dont think it would be worth paying the full price for a massive bottle that will take me 100 years to get through. In saying that, I do love it and wear it everyday, I think when all of my minis run out, if I really miss it will buy it again because I do love it. its also quite longwearing which i like. It gives a lovely sheen and glow and as i said i now wear this everyday. You only use a little bit at a time as well so i think my mini versions will last me a long time, though i think when they run out i dont think i will be able to resit and i willl have to severly lighten my purse and buy another....."If the shoe fits, buy another!"
