Amazing! I can't believe it took so long for me to try this foundation. Paula Begoin, the most famous cosmetic reviewer and author named this a BEST foundation. She is right!

Masks -DHC - Tourmaline Pack Mask
AZsugarpie 4/7/2008 7:14:00 PM
I think this mask worked, my skin felt soft and clean, pores looked better. It must have brought my zits to the surface (around my chin) because I got some pimples the next day. As far as smell, it's minerals and that's what we and the earth are all made up of. Didn't you learn that in chemistry 101?? Price is high, unfortunately.

I'm surprised to see a rating of 54% from MUA'ers? Paula Begoin gave this a Paula's Pick, her highest rating? I have to agree with Paula Begoin, this is a beautiful foundation? Great coverage and natural looking. I prefer it to Laura Mercier's moderate to full coverage foundation!

Treatments -Elizabeth Arden - Ceramide Advanced Time Complex Capsules
AZsugarpie 2/18/2008 3:21:00 PM
I bought these simply because I can throw a few capsules in a makeup bag for when I travel without having to throw in a whole thing of moisturizer. It's an okay product but for the ingredients its very expensive. TO WHAT IS LIZZIE referring when she said to think about what it looks like? subliminal messagin with the packaging??? Tell me Lizzie, I am curious. The only thing I could think of is that they look like a tiny miniature diapghram or somthing after the contents are squished out? Someone let me know because I don't get it.

Liquid -Maybelline - Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation ] ] [DISCONTINUED]

Awesome range of colors. 5 colors for Light, 5 colors for medium and 5 colors for dark. I finally get to choose the right shade of Light!! Yeah! Other brands don't offer enought choices. Perfect size bottle of foundation for traveling. Good practical simple and basic packaging. It feels nice and liquid, not too greasy and not too matte. Decent coverage that leaves a nice finish on the skin. I use a damp sponge to blend it and it looks beautiful on blemish-free skin. If I have blemishes I might go for my Ultima II Wonderwear cream makeup (which is not made anymore-darn).

Moisturizers -DHC - Rose Treatment Oil
AZsugarpie 2/11/2008 2:05:00 PM
Very very impressive. It's melts into my acne-prone, dry with oily patches skin. I like that it doesn't contain any waxy fillers. The pretty scent evaporates quickly and leaves dewy and moisturized skin. This product works excellent with properly exfoliated skin so make sure you exfoliate a couple times a week. Packaging- very pretty pink "rose" top bottle, very decorative on the vanity. DHC -- keep making those lightweight oil moisturizers!!!!!!!!! They are hard to find. The Pampering Drops by Lumene is the closest I have found and it's not as good as your Rose Treatment Oil.

Skincare - Face -Arbonne - Intelligence Face - Entire Line
AZsugarpie 11/26/2007 11:29:00 PM
I ended up throwing it in the garbage before I used 1/4 of it. Smell's bad and doesn't do a thing for my skin except clog my pores and cause zits. The cooling sensation it gives is a telltale sign that this is not for sensitive skin and drying.

Moisturizers -Lumene - Energy Cocktail pampering drops [DISCONTINUED]
AZsugarpie 10/23/2007 12:23:00 AM
This moisturizer is so luscious on my skin. It feels so soft and there is a gentle hint of fragrance that is yummy. It is so pretty and pink when you shake up the bottle and it just melts and soaks into my skin and does not feel greasy, just dewy and soft as can be. I usually use one pump, sometimes one and a half pumps depending on the condition of my skin. Paula Begoin says there is nothing special about the ingredients in this serum but I don't care, it is free of waxy fillers and thickening agents so it does not cause clogged pores. ALSO AVAILABLE AT TARGET STORES!!!!!! note: this product is not going to be discontinued, the packaging of it has changed so if you got it for those cheap prices, they were probably trying to get rid of the old packaging. Rose Treatment Oil by DHC has more impressive ingedients and this would be my first choice before the Pampering Drops. I like both though.

Stick -Max Factor - PAN - STICK
AZsugarpie 10/16/2007 4:50:00 PM
Wow, I really like this foundation a lot. Not greasy or shiny and it doesn't slip around my face at all. Not too matte either. I hope they never discontinue this product. I love a stick makeup because it is so easy. But especially when iti has a nice texture like this one does. UPDATE: I can't stand the fragrance. So I quit using it.

Powder -Milani - Minerals Compact Makeup
AZsugarpie 6/27/2007 10:51:00 PM
I bought this just because of the great reviews and they were right. This pressed mineral foundation is probably the best mineral makeup I've tried, except for Joppa minerals, but wanted this in a non-messy compact for my purse (for touch ups).

Fragrances -Chanel - No.19
AZsugarpie 2/4/2007 1:09:00 AM
Who in this world knows perfume like the perfumers of Chanel? No one. Chanel is perfume first, fashion second. No. 19 is my favorite perfume. It has the most pleasant and "orgasmic" drydown. It's a pair of sexy jeans with your husband's white dress shirts tied at the waist kind of perfume. It's shows good taste and confidence in who you are.

Liquid -Jane - Oil Free foundation
AZsugarpie 10/1/2006 3:29:00 PM
I am 47. This is the one of the best foundations I have worn and I have been wearing makeup since I was 16. I read Paula Begoin's rave review of this and so had to try it and she was right. It is a wonderful oil-free foundation. Not chalky. It blends and sets beautifully. Not chalky, dry. It's a nice natural look with very good coverage. Update: But I prefer Estee Lauder Double Wear over this! Jane is owned by Estee Lauder I wonder if the formula is the same??? Update: I got bored with this makeup and am trying new ones now.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Fresh Foaming Cleanser
AZsugarpie 6/2/2006 12:22:00 AM
I like cleansers that foam. This is a very good one for my face. I wet my hands, put a dab on my palm and lather it up and clean my face. After 20 rinses, I pat dry and put a little dab of Neutrogena's alcohol-free toner on a cotton ball and dab it on and use an upward sweeping motion in my t-zone. This is the best skincare combo ever. Since I started this program about 4 months ago I have such clean skin and it's soft with no dullness. Also, I don't get pimples and clogged pores anynmore.
