Skincare - Body -Dr. Bronner's - Lavender Liquid Soap

I really want to love this because it's one of a few really natural cleansers you can buy, but it really doesn't work for my dry skin. I used it as a natural shower gel and it made my skin itchy after every single use. I also got a rash from dryness on my waist and it disappeared as soon as I stopped using it. I bought a 500ml bottle and I could only use it as hand soap to finish the whole bottle. It is really good as a hand soap but it's too expansive if that's the only job it can do for me, so I won't repurchase.
Wow the most impressive blue polish I've ever seen. Beautiful, elegant, sophisticated, you will know what I mean as soon as you put it on. All my friends went to purchase one after they applied my Unfor-greta-Bly blue. Another masterpiece by OPI, no wonder they've already put it in the classic collection.
This review is for the new Badger's daily sunscreen spf 30 in a green tube (claims to be non comedogenic and can be worn under makeup). I have to agree with others, I hated this product at first I got it. I wanted this product for so long but it was hard to find a retailer in Canada. I attempted to purchase it online but it always seems to be out of stock. And finally, I found this with a few other Badger sunscreens retailed in London Drugs. I was sooo... excited like I had found the gold mine. However, working with it had been extremely hard for me, it was impossible to apply it evenly, and it always ended up small white pieces so I had to wash it off my face and tried to apply again. The new formula feels super dry also, even it claims can be worn under makeup, it makes my foundation appear cakey on my face. In one point I was almost going to return it, but this is such a wonderful natural gem to me that I wouldn't give it up unless I tried my best. Then I saw the review on MUA and learned that I need to warm it up in my palms then gentlely put my hands over my face and letting the heat melts the product into my skin. Wow, it really works, now it even can be applied on top of makeup nicely so I won't have problem to reapply it when I'm outside. Also I always wait till my moisturiser absorbs completely at first then apply the sunscreen, and make sure just use a small amount. I love my badger sunscreen now, sure you can't compare it with all other sunscreens in the market for easy application, fast absorbing, etc, but which sunscreen can compare with badger when it comes to caring for our health, our animal and our environment? I'm sure they are still working hard on innovating the formula to do a better job. But so far, this is what natural can provide to us. I don't care about all the sunscreen benefits made from all kinds of chemicals (seriously, read the ingredient label on the sunscreens out there HE or drugstore, I doubt it that you still want to put it on your skin), as long as Badger is still making sunscreen, I will keep supporting and repurchasing.
Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Sweet Mint

I love this lip balm. Cute packaging, easy to use, inexpensive, natural ingredients, moisturising, long lasting ... what else should I expect from a lip balm? The only issue for me is the smell, personally I don't find it smell very nice, but it doesn't really bother me. It only smells weird when you are applying it, then the smell disappears and only leaves a nice minty feel on your lips. I know it's natural ingredients, I rather use something smell not that great but natural than something smells great but made with artificial fragrance. I'll keep buying this wonderful product, perhaps another flavor next time.
Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Eye booster eyeliner + serum
AJ6488 4/30/2013 2:28:00 PM
This eyeliner seems too good to be true, grow lashes, paraben free, cheap ($10 CAD on sale), 24 hours wearing... it offers everything I'm looking for as an eyeliner, and even more. But wait, I did struggle to get the product come out with this kind of packaging once again ( I experienced the same problem with my last Stila stay all day liner pen) I don't know how people manage to get the pen easy to apply every time, but for me, every time using it is pure frustration. Some times it has enough ink on the tip sometimes it's dry, no matter how I shake it, work it on the back of my hand, there is just not enough ink to apply a nice line on my eye. I do keep it up side down in the jar, I don't know what else I need to do to make sure there is enough ink come out. I love the idea of eyeliner pen because it's easy to use compare to the gel or liquid eyeliner, but the packaging is so confusing, I will keep trying and update my review later if i figure out how this works.
I'm glad that I follow up the reviews on MUA and bought this high lighter pen. I've never bought a high lighter pen in my life because I never thought I would ever need it. I had no dark circles or any thing needs to be covered in my early 20s, when I tried on my friend's famous YSL Touche Eclat, it actually created fine lines on my under eye area and looked cakey on me which is not impressive. Nowadays in my late 20s, years of bad living habits (sleeping late, smoking, don't drink enough water, ...) finally makes me pay back. I have very visible dark circles, under eye bags, fine lines.... :((( even after I quit smoking and started living healthy, these signs of aging just won't go (seriously people, start taking care of yourself before it's too late). Back to the product, it is cheap ($10 CAD in Walmart), so as packaging... which I don't mind at this stage, I may buy the HE one if I become queen of the highlighters one day. The product is great, I got the Rose Porcelain and the shade hides my dark circles very well. You really just need a little bit of product to cover the shadow. It is quite pigmented, a little product can cover a large area, so be careful to use. Too much product can create unnatural and cakey looking. I wouldn't say it's moisturizing, but maybe because of my skin is extremely dry itself. It does contain paraben but so as all those popular HE ones (some of them even contain more dangerous chemicals, so do your research before you spend a lot of money on some thing can potentially harm you). Unfortunately there hasn't been top-rated highlighters that are harsh chemical free, so personally, I will limit my use of the product. Overall, a great product that does its job well. However I still think we should focus more on taking care of ourselves rather than hiding as many things on our face as possible. Update: They have changed the packaging for Touche Magique. Now it's in a thicker pen, and the brush is much softer. Also the twist thing works better and the packaging doesn't look cheap like the old one. I was able to exchange mine to the new packaging in a darker shade (rose beige). I also love the rose beige on me better. It's more natural on my skin (rose porcelain was a bit too white for me) and completely covers my dark circles. Just keep it in mind, if you gonna buy this product make sure you pick up the one in the new packaging.
I've got same problem as some of others, this base coat turns to create small bubbles and makes the application extremely frustrating. Also it doesn't last long like other OPI polishes, it became thick and sticky in the end and makes it even harder to apply. Now I have to give it up.
I have to agree with others, the shade is too sheer, it almost looks like clear polish. I wanted a nude pink shade, and for this polish I have to apply 3 coats every time to show the color, so it ran out really fast. Also unlike other OPI nail polishes that can last for ages, this becomes thick and sticky when there is 1/3 left, and it's almost impossible to apply now. I love OPI, but not this one.
This is so far the most gorgeous red shade I've got. It's more of red rather than pink though. At first I wanted to buy a pink shade, but when I apply it on my nails it shows more of red. However the color is so gorgeous so I want to keep it in my OPI collection.
I personally feel the color is too dark. However I still agree with others that the Koala Bear-y is one of the best in quality out all the OPI polishes. The application is very smooth, the finish has gorgeous shine, and it dries super fast. I won't repurchase only because the shade doesn't show its best on me.
I just got this shade yesterday and am loving it! It's the perfect soft shade for my yellow under-tone skin. It some how looks more like a nude pink on my nails, more natural than the actual pink soft shades from OPI. I'm very glad how nice the color turned out on my nails, and of course same as all other OPI polishes, good quality, smooth to apply, shining finish, short drying time like always.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - DUO eyelash adhesive
AJ6488 4/20/2013 1:00:00 PM
First time I used it I immediately know it's the eyelash adhesive I will stick with. My only concern is the packaging. There is always too much product comes out and gets wasted, as well as leaving a mess every where. Other than that, best eyelash adhesive I've used.
I'm on my way to buy another one right now. After trying all kinds of wax, straps, hair removals, as well as pretty much all the razors from Venus product line (I'm not hairy, but I can't stand even a tiny bit of hair on my legs :p), I'm still sticking with the original Venus blue razor. It is the most convenient to use out all and gives me soft glowing skin all year long. I'm 100% satisfied with this product, but I think many of their other products are pretty useless and pointless (with cream, with battery, etc) Each time after trying their newly innovated razor I was left disappointed, and always came back to the original blue one. I don't have much hair on my skin also they are very thin, maybe that's why the simplest razor works the best for me. I think for the people have more hair, waxing together with shaving will work better. Hope it helps :)
This is the best eyelash curler I've used. Since the day I got it I've never lived without it. The quality of this eyelash curler is amazing, after all this years (bought it in 2009) it still looks new, I just need to change the gel pad once or twice a year. It curls eyelashes like nothing else, makes eyelashes look extremely curly and natural at the same time. I use it to curl my eyelashes twice or three times and it makes my eyelashes stay nicely curled for a long time, even after I take off my makeup with oil. I love this eyelash curler and will recommend it to every one as well.
This is the most expansive perfume I've bought but also the best I've had. It smells literally like heaven to me. A little goes a long way, and the smell literally lasts for ever (even after washing my clothes, the smell is still there). It's a perfume, not fragrance spay, so it's more concentrated (that's why it's so expansive for such a small bottle). After I used the perfume from Serge Lutens, I don't think I will ever repurchase the perfumes I had from other brands (chanel, dior, prada, ysl, ck...) Their popular perfumes are so easy to be identified, that usually when people pass by I can tell the exact perfume or fragrance they are wearing. I love to keep a little mystery, this touch of light floral smell often gets people complementing how good I smell and asking what perfume I'm wearing. And when I tell them, most people have never even heard of this brand. Maybe I'm the strange one but this is another thing I love about this brand. I don't know what kind of magic do they use in their perfumes, but they just happen to have the perfumes I keep finding myself falling in love with (Ambre Sultan, Gris Clair, Clair De Musc, Fleurs D' Orange, Sa Majeste La Rose...) But they are so expansive so I have to save up for each bottle, to me it worths every penny though. I'd love to own an entire collection of the perfumes I love from Serge Lutens.
