Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara

I really wanted to like this mascara. Its all-natural, gentle on eyes, is made by a earth-friendly company, but honestly what does all that matter if the mascara leaves you with racoon eyes by the end of the day? I tried everything to make it stay put but to no avail. Too bad, like I said I really wanted to like this one. :(
I bought this product because almay is suppose to be great for sensitive skin girls like me. Well, it didnt make me break out or turn red BUT it didnt do its job either. First off, it doesnt blend well at all - thats a must for any foundation. Secondly, and perhaps worst of all, it turns orange after a couple of hours. Ick! Ick! Ick! Horrible stuff. Oh and did I mention this stuff rubs off onto clothes and leaves my face a gaint oil slick? Yup, like I said, horrible stuff.

Wow I really love this product. The prefect tan for fair to med skin. No shimmer (=no disco ball effect) and doesn't turn orange. For those who are finding it hard to find Drugstore.com has it, as well as Amazon.com. Amazon has it in the two pack with free super saver shipping.
Lip Gloss -Burt's Bees - Super Shiney Natural Lip Gloss

I was so unhappy with this product. :( PROS: Sweet Pink is a pretty color. Does not contain mineral oil or the like. Not tested on Animals. No parabens. CONS: Has no staying power. Doesn't taste good. Dries out lips! Big Time! Over priced.
I have been using almond oil off and on for years now. I really like the Aura Cacia Organics Sweet Almond oil. I just started using it again about two weeks ago and what a difference it has made to my skin! My skin is very very reactive and most things make me break out in a rash or cause a lot of reddening all over my face (I am fair to med skin). In addition to these skin aliments I have also been experiencing some serious acne problems for about a year and half now. And I have tried everything. Well, unfortunately sweet almond oil has not cured my acne (hence no 5 lippies rating from me) but it has eliminated my redness and caused no rash and moisturized my face better than anything else on the market. And a little will last you a long time. I like to put it on after I cleanse at night, then rub the excess into my hands and the ends of my hair. I also lightly pat with a face towel afterwards(no greasy mess on my pillow!) Oh its also good at the ends of my hair, that
Wow, I love love love this product. I have very sensitive skin and usually wear Bare Escentuals in Med but recently I lost my tan and had to go down a shade. The next shade down was fairly light and it was just too light for my skin and didn't look right. I was in a bind because I have very sensitive skin and things make me break out with a rash or with acne very easily. I read soooo many good reviews about CS here that I decided to give it a try. Boy am I happy that I did! :D It's perfectly blendable, it has buildable coverage (important for me because I have acne scars) and stays put all day long. Wonderful! Oh, for reference my color is 180 Sand Beige, it give a good light yellow undertone and is perfect for fair-medium skin tones. EDIT: After using this for two weeks I think it is to blame for some acne and a rash around my nose. :( I am so sad! I was totally in love with this stuff.
Wow, I was really excited when I read all the great reivews about this foundation and so I ran out and bought it. It's a lovely color, Vanilla, (I usually wear BE in Fairly Light for reference) and it matched so beautifully to my fair skin. It blends so wonderfully (I have come to expect this from all Revlon Foundations). My only problem with this foundation is the huge amount of shimmer they put into it and eventually it made me break out on my forehead. This stuff is going to get returned to walgreens. :(
Pros: Large reduction in frizz ( I blow out naturally wavy hair and then straight iron it). Kept hair strick straight all day long. Made hair shiny and healthy looking Cons: Made me break out around my hairline. (I have very sensitive skin) Made my hair sorta stiff at the ends. Overall I won't buy it again only because of the breakout issue. Other than that this is a gret product for helping a blowout last.
Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder
ADelicateFlower 1/26/2010 5:17:00 PM
I found this product to be just okay. The shades were a little too pink for my yellow undertones and while the powder gave a good finish at first, it tended to move by the end of the day. Any reapplication of the powder to try to fix this resulted in a cakey finish. :/
I used this product religiously in hopes that it would help the kp on my arms with absolutely no results. Its over priced and doesn't work! :( The only thing that I have found to work is using a natural olive oil soap and a loofa in the shower followed by a gentle lotion (alba unsented body lotion) and taking omega 3 fatty acids supplements.
Lotions/ Creams -Lac Hydrin - Lac-Hydrin Five Moisturizing Lotion

I found this product to very harsh and not helpful at all in treating my kp on my arms. :( Its smells terrible as well. If you do have kp, I found that switching to natural soap (olive oil soap in my case) to not dry out my skin, taking omega 3 fatty acids supplements, using a loofa in the shower and moisterizing with a very gentle but good lotion ( I use alba unsented body lotion) can help a lot.
OMG how I miss this mask! It was so great, it really had a cooling effect on my skin. I would use it whenever my skin was mad (by mad I mean red, bumpy, itchy, etc) and it would calm it down so fast. This is really the only mask that I have ever found that did what it claimed it could do. Wonderful! I used to buy this one at Macys but now they no longer carry Biotherm ><
Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer spf15

A friend bought me this for my birhtday one year (hehe I know its an odd gift but he knows that I like to try new lotions). It turned out to be a great lotion. What I like best about it is that it wore so well under my mineral makeup (BE) and didn't make my face shiny in the summer months. What I didn't like about it was that it is not moisturizing enough for the winter months. I need something like olay complete cream for the cold weather (although where I live, CA, is not all that cold). Still I would repurchase as a strictly summer face lotion. Oh btw my face is super sensitive and it didn't cause any redness or bumps for me. :)
This has very very small beads that exfoliate the skin but for me it just didn't work very well. I used it at night and found my skin to be baby soft (although my skin is very rough to beginn with) but the next morning when I woke up my skin was flacky all over my nose, around my mouth and between my eyebrows. :( I have sensitive skin but that was just ridiculous.
Conditioner -TRESemme - Smooth and Silky Vitamin H and Silk Proteins
ADelicateFlower 1/16/2010 12:24:00 AM
I really wanted to keep this conditioner because it made my hair soooo soft and shiny. Honestly, the best it has ever looked. So why the three stars you may wonder. Well, again my search for beautiful hair has been foiled by my very sensitive skin. After using this conditioner my neck and shoulders became really itchy. :( I didn't break out with hives but it was still uncomfortable. This shouldn't surpirise me because the conditioner is so heavily frangranced and I tend to be sensitive to those things. Oh well, so bottom line, if you want dry damaged hair (I blow out and flat iron my hair three times a week but I don't color it) to be beautiful and shiny AND you (and your skin) don't mind the scent then this a great buy.
