Sorry , but i feel a little " cheated " by my MUA pals here, and this doesn't happen often .. I received this in a swap , after reading all the cravings here(and also under the lash extender which is essentially the same product) i was quite excited to give a try . Results ? It DOES give huge lashes , alright . BUT , there is a big but ..It is very flaky, the wand has a huge static cling to it so when you take the wand out of the tube , it flies all over and also the wand looks like a yarn of wool , the product clinging all over it . So i had to ask the fellow swapper if there was anything wrong it , she told me she was surprised that no one mentioned that on the reviews here , too .. I already have thick lashes , with this they touched my brows ( there is quite a distance there too ! :) ) So , false lash effect, hands down . But it doesn't hold that effect all the way throughout the day ( lasts like an hour or two maybe, at least on me ) .And it looks feathery on the lashes . Very easily the flakes fall under the eyes when applying , too .. So, i will keep it , wouldn't recommend it for daily use tho. And wanted to tell you that , it's a good product at achieving what it promises, but it doesn't come without compromises , so it's not " heavenly " , imho .

First of all , i wanna say that the 'instructional DVD ' is a total bummer :( It lasts for about 4 minutes , and it's only instructional if this is your first time make up ever . I was expecting to get some 'insider tips' from smashbox, leave that aside , i didnt even like the make up he is putting on her, the buki brush he is using is shedding and i thought he used a totally wrong color of foundation for her skin tone , but might as well be the lighting .. anyways , enough for the video :) I actually do like this kit , having read the previous reviews i ordered the fair kit ( i went lighter then i would normally) foundation shade is quite a good match and i do like the powder-bronzer duo , it's a very fine , nice , natural looking powder product . I do like the 2 in 1 primer as well . The concealer is better then i thought it was going to be , not too solid not too runny , nice consistence when you apply. I just got this kit few days ago so , i'm going to update as i go but so far so good , very good value .

I bought this on a whim , i have lots of long , blonde dyed hair that is straight or wavy depending on what it wants to do that day :) I don't use a lot of styling tools , am almost scared of the flat irons although they say it's fine to use once or twice a week ..(all those steam coming up and everything , makes me think i'm gonna lose all of it since it's quite damaged already ) and haven't had luck with curling irons either ..So i bought this as a substitute for the regular drier , and so far so good ! Although it's fairly easy to use i'm even too lazy to replace it for the regular drier daily , i use it whenever it's a little more special then every day , drying the hair a little in advance , and brushing through ( detangling ) . Rest is easy , you take the hair in parts , doesn't really matter how big of chunks you take ( smaller for a more polished look , bigger for a non-frizzy straight hair look) .I love that it does get rid of the frizz. My only complaint would be the nozzle keeping wheeling about , i need to bring it back to the right position now and then(the velvety feeling part should be on top and the tiny teeth at the bottom) . And does it catch hair and knots sometimes ? Yes but not worse then regular combing -drying process, i don't think . The nozzle has 4 settings , 1 recommended for straight ( easier to blow dry to a straight finish) hair and 4 for thick curly unruly hair . Although i could use the 1st setting according to that , i like the 3rd or 4th better for quicker smoother results . Doesn't exactly compare to flat iron results ( this might be better because leaves the hair with more volume then the iron ) but compares to out -of-salon results that last . I go without washing 2 days at most but it'd probably outlast that . Finally : When i use Kerastase Oleo-Relax Serum with this , the results are oily looking hair , so i try other styling products .

I'm surprised that this product hasn't got much love here .. I wanted to write a review about this one earlier on, but couldn't find it listed before . Didn't know this was supposed to be a knock-off for Biolage ( wouldn't have purchases then probably , i don't like knock-offs ) I have -lots of- chemically treated , therefore terribly damaged , long hair and actually i do like this product quite much . I use it as a regular conditioner then a special mask most of the times, and none other drug store brand conditioner manages to leave my hair so soft and manageable (inc Loreal, Pantene , Tresemme, Samy , John Frieda, more i can't think of now , even Kerastase! ) As a matter of fact, i found only FF and Ojon to be better then this , for the same promises, so far . I am not impressed by the way it smells , but , oh well.. it doesn't linger after shower anyways . I will keep experimenting but i have a feeling that i'll go back to this one . Was almost forgetting : 1 lippie off , because it IS true that it has lots of parabens , as far as i'm concerned , they're not recommended to use during pregnancy .

Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Satin 2 Shampoo

Hmm.. i wonder if i'm doing anything wrong ? Most reviews here say it's very conditioning , like a shampoo - conditioner in one , one could even skip the conditioner with this shampoo .. My experience is SO the other way around ..I have long, blonde , chemically treated and treated hair , and this shampoo turns my hair into a tangle mess ! One thing i have noticed tho is that the conditioner i use (i tried few different ones ) after this , goes on smoothly and works better in comparison with another shampoo..Not good enough to justify the price tag, imo ..

Treatments -Pantene - Deep Fortifying Treatment

I like Pantene , too , i just thought this product could do better then it does ..I have dry , chemically treated long hair for ref , this didn't really detangle my hair .. was more or less like a regular conditioner . Wouldn't buy again , but i will keep trying Pantene.

Sorry , i think this is a bad mascara .(Do they know it and is that why Lancome keeps giving away gwp sizes of this in every opportunity?) here's why it's not the worst : Doesn't clump and does do a good job of curling as it promises and here's why it's bad : it must the formula , but my lashes became brittle after using this for a few days in a row , lose a few lashes during taking it off and this is not very usual for me . besides the curl, it doesn't really give volume or length .

Okay , i like reviewing mascaras with pros and cons : Pros : Doesn't clump Gives lashes a nice definition , seperates beautifully Nice glossy black Mine is a gwp size , has been (more then a year ?) and is still in great condition, ie didn't dry out in the tube .(although i just threw it out due to hygenic conditions) The cons : SMUDGES badly , doesn't stay put . Doesn't give the volume -dramatic effects i'd like (which can be a pro or a con depending on what you want i guess) So, if it hadn't smudged, this would be what called a 'nice every day mascara ' for some of us , still not for me because of the lack of dramatic effects .

I'm between 3 or 4 lippies for this one , more like 3,5 right now .. So, obvious from it's name , you gotta like dramatic effect mascaras even to try this one , which i do . The pros : Does do the dramatic trick , does not smudge throughout the day , bigger tube then the regular mascaras so better value for money The cons: Does clump ( although i found a little trick for this : hold the skin at the temples taut , slanting your eyes a little when applying with the other hand , clumping is a lot less !) , flakes at the end of the day ,the packaging could have been cuter imo ,sorry,i just care about this , i like my make up to look nice on the counter too and i find this tube quite boring and miss the luxurious golden tube of YSL or the swirleys of Supernova, and it wouldn't matter that much if this was the only con . I also don't like taking it off , already, the 'tubes' come off , the SA told me 'not to freak out ' if i see spider-leg-like things when taking this off ,but it takes longer and just messy a little although it doesn't hurt (so this one could be a pro or con ) . This is the closest mascara to Dior Show that i tried (I was told this is 'healthier because Dior has tons of tar in it whereas this has none ) , and i'm on the fence about Dior Show , too .. So, a dramatic effects mascara , that doesn't have tons of tar in it , won't clump , won't smudge , won't turn my eyes into raccoon eyes at the end of the day AND not a pain to take off , anyone ? I think YSL Faux Cils is the only one i haven't tried yet so that's next , but after that ,i'm running out of hope here .. *Update : Just dropped one lippie off from 4 to 3 , because i found that it flakes badly at the end of the day , or in a humid day ( have been using this every day since i wrote the original review )

I just agree with anyone out there with the suggestion of the name 'Nothing Mascara " in stead of 'Everything" for this one . No length , definitely no volume and no curl , wet formula that smudges at the end of the day . The only pro ,i'd say is that this doesn't clump and some say this is a good everyday mascara , there are lots of drugstore brands that does that job imo.

The BODY WASH is awesome ! Great product especially for the price , my husband swears by this and we do trips to the CVS just to stock up on this .For me , too , it's not necessary to pay loads of money for body wash anymore , all the dryness in the elbows and knees gone , good for summer & the long winters here too .

I just wish i had checked the reviews here on MUA before purchasing it , would have saved me the trouble of returning (credits to sephora for the best return policy) . When i tried this at the store (i know a poor way of judging but on top of another mascara ) , results were WOOW and also every sales person was raving about this so i went ahead and bought it . Tried twice before taking it back : Once with Shu uemura mascara base , no smudge problems but then again i didn't wear it for the whole day .and once without , when i got to understand 'what smudge ' everyone else here was talking about :( I didn't have any clump issues, as a matter of fact it is one of the non clumping, best defining mascaras i have used . I also got to figure out after this mascara that i like more dramatic looks . I was indecisive about 2 or 3 lippies for this , but more 3 then 2 because the smudging problem kind of got it's "excuse" at the store : "It has lots of moisturizers in it and it is more for damaged eyelashes" That's what the SA at sephora told me , along with the suggestion of a tubing mascara which also doesn't have tar in it : Cargo Better Then Waterproof Mascara " .Having learned my lesson , i took my eye make up off right there then ( used the 'make up remover bottles they have laying around which gave my eyes an awful burn , so note to self : stay away from sephora make up remover ) and found out that better then waterproof doesn't do it for me in the dramatic looks department , so she suggested the texaslash , which i brought back home with me , give it a little time before reviewing .. But back to the Fresh Supernova , if i ever feel my eyelashes are damaged and they need extra love, i'll go back to it and it's probably better during winter when it's not so humid around .

This is oh-so pretty , both in the pan and on the body .Perfect dose of shimmery bronze with a few swipes on the chest , shoulders, legs ,anywhere. A little bit chalky and goes down a little quick, but not enough to ruin the fun ,the brush is huge , not the best quality but does a good enough job for what it is .

Styling Products -Pantene - detangling (light conditioning mist)

Nah.. It's funny because Pantene is really hit or miss .. and i think this is a miss. I use detanglers all the time and go through them like crazy and try out something else each time , this one simply neither detangles nor conditions . Although, i'm going to go ahead and put it here since i haven't found reviews for that, i'm using the 'silkening Adoucir' or' silk transformation cream' from Pantene which promises to 'increase softness and shine' DOES detangle when i massage it in ,it's a leave-in .

Eye Shadow -NARS - Demon Lover Duo

3 lippies for the colors . At first glance this is a blue/ purple duo , but so not too . I don't wear blues much but these shades are quite unique , and hard to match i think . pretty , pretty .. I wish i liked the consistency and stay on power of NARS eyeshadows better ..
