Skincare - Body -Badger - Sleep Balm

I normally sleep really well but recently was feeling quite stressed out and couldn't drift off. I saw this balm at my supermarket and as it was quite cheap thought I'd give it a try, I can't believe how well it works!! It smells lovely and is really calming, I gave some to my cynical insomniac boyfriend and even he had to admit it works. Lovely product, will definitely buy again.

I am so surprised that I like this fragrance!! I'm really fussy with perfume (and suffer with hayfever) so often go without or stick to fresh, clean and not really perfumey smells but I REALLY love this!! Just gutted about the price!

Unlike its putrid predecessor Angel, this fragrance is very light and fresh. Perfect for hot days or after a workout.

Why in God's name would you name something that smells so evil Angel??!! I used to work on a perfumery department and everybody's worst fear was being asked to do an angel refill for a customer as it went bloody everywhere! The accepted signal for 'I've just done a refill, going to wash my hands' was rushing towards the toilets and gagging. This stuff is truly vile but seems to be a marmite product...you either love it or hate it (although I have yet to meet a man who likes it). The ONLY bonus? The pretty packaging. NB I've noticed a few reviews citing body chemistry as adversley affecting Angel. Not true...it was actually specifcally designed NOT to alter on contact with skin, so I guess it's all down to olfactory receptors!

I like the idea of AHAs acting as an exfoliant in this cream. I use it after a diy pedicure and massage a smidge in after showering. My feet seem much softer since using this.

Ok, so this should probably be called 'instant chav tan' but I love it!! I'm fair but this mixed with a little moisturiser (quite hard to blend, makes colour less intense) is perfect for giving my legs a bit of a glow or over a tan. I tend not to put it on my chest as it can make you look a little shiny plastic fantasticy!! Warning: If you don't want to look like an umpalumpa use sparing and only at night!

I do like this as nude shimmery gloss but probably wouldn't repurchase. But I feel better knowing the proceeds go to a good cause!

I use this with greensmoke eyeshadow and it makes my hazel eyes REALLY green! Love it!

I have always described my eyes as browny hazel but whilst doing some temp work on MAC a visiting MA used greensmoke on me and I can now confidently say that my eyes are infact green!! It REALLY made them pop and looks great on my fair (NC20/25) skin. I use it with rosemary and thyme liner for a more smokey look.

I bought this after doing some christmas work on MAC and watching how the MAs use it to great effect. Love it!! Just wish I could find a MAC foundation to use it with!!

Crème -MAC - Studio Tech

I'm really not sure about MAC foundations. The colour match is great (NC20/25) but I haven't found a formula that suits. This seemed ok at first but now is far too dry for my combo skin. Also I liked the coverage for special occasions (don't like wearing much in the day) but I saw some photos of a recent night out and looked like I was wearing a mask!! And I REALLY don't wear much makeup. Maybe its better for oilier skin and people who want more coverage.

I had a sample of this after finding the studio tech a little too dry. It is fine on my dry areas but not so good everywhere else (I'm combo) but having said that it hasn't made me breakout. Not totally convinced about this, will finish sample but don't know if I'll purchase.

This is the most flattering pink and the consistency means I don't have to wipe it off to put lipbalm on every 5 mins (self confirmed vaseline addict). Love it!

This is my desert island product! I love this product so much that if I leave the house without my little lip pot I go and buy another one. Seriously. I have tried a few other lip balms but they all seem to make my lips flake. I also use it religiously when I have a cold...blow nose, slather vaseline on!! It stops flaking but sadly not redness, although I'd rather have a shiny red nose than a crusty one any day!!!

I use this after the mattifying cleansing gel (see review) and its absolutely perfect! I started using it after my skin suddenly went really really sensitive and needed a quick fix ie: no trawling around stores trying a billion samples. I thought that it may be too heavy for my combo sensitive skin but I find that it skins in really well and hydrates without making my Tzone oily. Although I will probably switch to a lighter formula in the summer. Overall I think Eucerin is an excellent line for skin that is easily irritated.
