Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Dr Mist Body Hygiene Flotation Spray

I bought this product (the travel size version) to put in my purse so I could use it while at work because I go for walks and sometimes get kinda sweaty. And I was using the Lavanilla deodorant which works ok but is very expensive and doesn't seem to really help with odor if I sweat. I honestly didn't have high expectations that this product would work because well for one it was very inexpensive, and also had very few ingredients and also I've tried many natural deodorants and been disappointed. Well i've been using this for about 2 weeks now and I'm so surprised and happy with how this works! I still go on my regular walks and even when I sweat I don't get stinky. I don't even think I'm going to buy my Lavanilla anymore because even though it smells nice it really doesn't stop me from stinking. Highly recommend this!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Eyeshadow - Era
rated 5 of 5

I've had this eyeshadow for maybe 1-2 years and when I first got it, thought it was very boring and just put it in my palette but never reached for it. Just recently I was doing my makeup and I really wanted a 'no-makeup' put together kind of look. Didn't want to look overdone but wanted my eyes defined and pretty looking. I put MAC grain all over the lid and Era in the crease and it looked so pretty! Now its become my go-to look because I don't really have to think about it, it never looks overdone or like I'm wearing too much eye makeup. I honestly may wear that combination with winged liner for my wedding - I love it that much! Its such a no-fuss eyeshadow because when you put it in the crease it looks very soft and pretty, and you don't have to worry about blending too much because its a gorgeous satiny light brown-taupe. For reference I'm an NC20 skintone, so I don't know if this would work for very dark skintones.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Boudoir Eyes

I would totally return this if I could find the receipt....this is the kind of palette that looks gorgeous in the pan & even when you swatch the eyeshadows they look nice....but when you start putting them on your lids & blending, thats when things go sour. I've had the same experience with TheBalm eyeshadows. They're just slightly too powdery and end up as a muddy mess on your eyes. :( I keep giving it another chance to see if I'll like it, but everytime i do I'm left disappointed.

Polishes -OPI - Drip Dry
rated 5 of 5

I was really skeptical about this product....but I had a giftcard to ulta and decided I would try the little bottle of it. I don't know why it took so long to try this.....its amazing! I painted my nails around 12:30am last night and went to bed around 1am and woke up with perfectly shiny nails WITHOUT those annoying sleep lines I usually get. Sometimes I would get the sleep lines even if I waited HOURS after painting my nails. This makes them dry to the touch so quickly, even if you paint 3 layers and topcoat. I painted my nails very quickly and kinda thick and it still did a fantastic job of drying them in no time.

Cleansers -Michael Todd True Organics - Charcoal Detox deep pore gel cleanser
rated 5 of 5
A9M8L 1/4/2013 11:54:00 PM

Before using this product I was using the Neutrogena Acne stress cream cleanser, and I thought it was the only thing that could keep my zits at bay.....but then I decided to try the Michael todd line and am completely blown away. This is quite a watery cleanser and doesn't foam a lot...but I use it with my clarisonic and it gets a decent lather. It does a great job of cleaning my skin without leaving it feeling stripped or irritated. I actually really like the smell of this too...kinda herbal, you can really tell its made with natural ingredients.

Treatments -Michael Todd True Organics - Antioxidant Carrot Serum
rated 5 of 5
A9M8L 1/4/2013 11:47:00 PM

I've never in my life been this impressed with a product. I've struggled with my skin for YEARS....I have problems with acne, acne scarring, and redness. This product does a PHENOMENAL job of getting rid of any under the skin bumps...if I feel one under the skin I will put this stuff on it and literally within 24 hours it is either significantly reduced or completely gone. This has helped so much because normally I'll get a big pimple and then it will leave a red mark, but because this stops zits from even coming to head I don't have to worry about that. Also this does a good job of moisturizing my combo skin and gives my face a nice glow after applying. I've only been using it for about a month and a half and have seen such a great improvement I can't wait to see the results after several months. I highly recommend this product and this brand in general has such high quality natural and organic skincare products.

Eye Shadow -TheBalm - Nude 'tude
rated 2 of 5
A9M8L 9/6/2012 5:15:00 PM

I feel like an outcast or something for not liking this, and writing a bad review, but I have to say I really don't like this palette. I heard about it on youtube from several 'guru's' and when I saw they had it on the birchbox website I knew I wanted to use my points to purchase this. I got it and was totally excited because the colors look gorgeous, and they even swatch really nicely. They all seem pretty pigmented and everything. But then, I decided to try to use it on my eyes. I always end up with a muddy mess, that doesn't look pretty or sexy, just a big mess. I actually have the same problem with the original urban decay naked palette (i still like it and think its better than this palette but it can get muddy), as well as some NYX eyeshadows. I much prefer the urban decay naked 2 palette with the reformulated eyeshadows or MAC eyeshadows. I wish I liked this, because its such a pretty looking palette but I just don't, and wish I wouldn't have bought this. :/

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Rosewater & Glycerin - Heritage Brand
rated 5 of 5
A9M8L 3/28/2012 11:22:00 PM

I can't believe there isn't a review for this product! Its my hg, favorite beauty product on earth! Seriously! I have struggled for SO long with my skin, and trying to find a moisturizer that doesn't break me out, doesn't have a bunch of nasty chemicals in it and actually moisturizes enough. Before using this, my skin was very very dry, and nothing seemed to work. Now my skin is more on the combination/normal side, and this is all I use as my moisturizer. Seriously, if you can't find a moisturizer you like, try this out! It works SO well. Also, you can lightly spray over makeup if you're skin is looking too powdery. love love love

Lip Treatments -Korres - Lip Butter -Quince
rated 5 of 5
A9M8L 4/10/2011 7:25:00 PM

I personally think this product deserves a 4.5, but since I can't do half ratings, I'll go with a 5 (because i think its closer to a 5 than a 4). First, the color I think is really lovely and subtle. A light rose, that is perfect for the summertime, and really brightens my face when i don't feel like wearing much makeup. Of course, this isn't going to be super pigmented or long-lasting, and I'm fine with that, because its not made to be. This is very moisturizing and feels really comfortable on my lips. Unlike a lot of other more natural tinted lip products I've tried (like burts bees) I think this does actually improve the texture of my lips. One thing I don't really like about this is the scent. Although it doesn't seem to last, and once I put it on my lips I can't smell it anymore. Also, I would prefer this in a tube or something where I didn't have to put my finger in. Overall, I definitely plan on repurchasing and hope to pick up some of the other shades as well! The rose one smells divine!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Holiday 2010 LE Golden Goddess eyeshadow palette
rated 4 of 5
A9M8L 9/29/2010 11:40:00 PM

This product deserves around a 3.5....the quality of the eyeshadows are good, so I will stick with a 4 rating. This was the palette that I thought I would enjoy the most (of the WnW holiday collection), because I love gold/neutral eyeshadows. I was somewhat skeptical because the bottom left shade looked downright orange. But, its $4, and I LOVE wet n wild, so I figured I'd give it a go. Rundown of shades: a pale pink with tons of gold shimmer (this shade basically goes on the skin as gold shimmer, the pink of it doesn't show up at all), peach with gold shimmer, TWO nearly identical gold/bronze shades both with gold shimmer (one is only slightly lighter, and the pigmentation is slightly different), a burnt orange with gold shimmer, and a dark (very pigmented) brown/bronze with gold shimmer. The two gold shades in the middle like I said are nearly identical and both apply on my eyes with a very orange-y/rusty hue, that is incredibly unflattering. The shades a both pretty pigmented, and look pretty in the pan but just look so horrible on me! I will probably NEVER use them. The peach shade is pretty, however I just cannot get peach shades to look flattering on me either. The only two shades in this palette worthwhile are the pale pale pink with gold shimmer (as a highlighter) and the darkest shade (which actually works great as an eyeliner). Overall, this palette is kinda a dud! Unless you really enjoy orange eyeshadows, this probably isn't for you!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Holiday 2010 LE Night Elf eyeshadow palette
rated 4 of 5
A9M8L 9/29/2010 11:26:00 PM

This palette also deserves a 4.5 just because I was slightly disappointed with it, in comparison to the original color icon palettes. I would have really loves to see a couple matte shades in this palette. Either way, this is still a great value for the money especially because of the AWESOME mac dupe in it! Rundown of shades: ivory with white shimmer, silver with silver shimmer, taupe-y gold with gold shimmer, vibrant red with red shimmer, duo-tone brown with green/blue shimmer, and a black with silver sparkles. First of all, I find all but two of the shades in this palette to be kind of boring and not very unique...they're all pretty pigmented and of good quality, just nothing special. However the AWESOME mac dupe for club, kinda makes up for the lack of uniqueness in the rest of the palette. I have the mac eyeshadow in 'club' and honestly this wet n wild dupe is much better overall. It has better pigmentation, and blends better than the mac version. That alone makes the palette worth buying. The red eyeshadow in the palette is very unique because I don't think I have EVER seen a drugstore RED eyeshadow, but I cannot for the life of me come up with a flattering way to wear it! If anyone has any ideas, message me!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Holiday 2010 LE Sugar Plum Fairy eyeshadow palette
rated 4 of 5
A9M8L 9/29/2010 11:15:00 PM

I would really like to give this a 4.5...I absolutely LOVE the original color icon palettes, and alot of that is because there are both matte and shimmer shades, so I was kinda a tough critic when I saw these holiday palettes. These palettes contain ONLY shimmery/glitter shades. Breakdown of shades: a pale white with slight purple/pink irridescence (this shadow is a dud, goes on very chalky), a very pale pink/plum with silver shimmer, a light lavendar with gold shimmer, a dark plum with gold shimmer, a vibrant purple with purple shimmer, and a dark brown/burgundy with gold shimmer/sparkle. All of the shades are pretty pigmented and lovely, (minus the lightest shade), however, some have better color payoff on the lid than others. The darkest two shades are definately the most pigmented and just the best shades overall. I was slightly disappointed with the pale lavendar, because it is really pretty in the pan, but it does take alot to actually get it to show up on my lids. Overall, a very pretty palette, not quite as good as the original color icons, but very good for the value.

Fragrances -Aubrey Organics - Musk Eau de Parfum 2oz (natural perfume)
rated 4 of 5
A9M8L 9/23/2010 11:56:00 PM

I haven't actually bought this product, but definitely plan on it, since spritzing myself earlier today with this. I smelled all the Aubrey perfumes, and they all smelled kinda strong and gross, and even this one smelled not that great out of the bottle. BUT after spritzing myself I cannot stop sniffing my wrist! Its such a beautiful subtle scent when it dries down. I feel like most people wouldn't like this, only because its not really strong, and you really have to be close to actually smell it on someone, but sometimes thats all I really want. It just kinda smells like clean skin, its not really obvious that I have fragrance on at all, just a really pleasant scent. This is probably gonna sound really weird, but this kinda smells like how my Mom smells. Maybe thats why I love it so much. :P

Blush -Tarte - Cheek Stain in Perfect Rose
rated 4 of 5
A9M8L 9/15/2010 11:53:00 PM

Once again, just like the tarte lipgloss I reviewed, I would like to give this a 4.5....Its really nice, but not a WOW product, especially for the $30 pricetag! The color is a bronze-y rose with lots of shimmer. Its a very gorgeous color, unfortunately it doesn't show up quite like it looks in the pot (its pretty sheer), which is kind of a disappointment, but it still looks quite lovely on, and you can layer it for more color. It works really well layered under powder blush - especially for someone like me with really dry skin. It seems that powder blush just goes on so much smoother and nicer with this as a base. As far as the texture, I had read people said these felt sticky and gross-feeling on the skin, and I have not noticed that AT ALL. No extra oilness or shininess. The scent of this is really nice, it smells very sweet and lemon-y. I could care less about scent in a blush product, but its nice. I can't really say anything about breakouts yet, because I haven't had it long enough to notice that, but I will update if my skin FREAKS out from these. I'm on the fence about repurchasing - I probably would if there was another good gift set and if it had another shade to try, but I'm not sure if I would repurchase this particular shade.

Lip Gloss -Tarte - Vitamin-Infused Lipgloss in 'paradise'
rated 4 of 5
A9M8L 9/15/2010 11:16:00 PM

I wish I could give this a 4.5....its a good lipgloss, but I don't think its really worth the $21 pricetag (I actually bought it in a QVC exclusive 6-pc gift set for $40). Its pretty sheer, but I think it gives a really pretty shine/sparkle to my lips. The smell isn't horrible - kinda fruity, I would prefer if it was mint scented, that just seems to universally work with all lip products - but thats not a huge deal to me. The texture is very smooth, even though it is pretty shimmery, you don't get that gross gritty or sticky texture you get with some lipglosses. The staying power is fairly decent - I honestly don't expect much staying power from any lipglosses, because I normally keep it in my purse and reapply when needed. The main reason I would probably repurchase is because of the fact that it is free from parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, petro-chemicals, and phthalates. I used to just buy drugstore lipgloss and then I started reading the labels and realized pretty much ALL of them contain parabens! I try to avoid them in my skincare, and thought it was kinda nasty that I would probably end up EATING parabens because its going on my lips! I may end up trying the Josie Maran lipgloss and see how the two compare (since they're both supposed to be more 'natural')...and then decide if I would repurchase. I just wish they were cheaper! I think a $12-$15 price tag would be MUCH more reasonable!
