Eyeliner -Prescriptives - Moonbeam Reflective eyeliner

Love this pencil. It's a little soft, but that's a pro and a con! I have to sharpen this baby about every other day, but I love love love the color and texture of "Beaming Plum". It's dark enough on my eyes, but yet not harsh. The reflective properties in the color are lovely. No longer available from Px.com, I purchased some on ebay for less than the retail price and am quite happy. Anyone know of a comparable eyeliner that's currently on the market so we lovers of this don't have to resort to ebay or other 2nd party sellers?

Primer/ Corrector -Ulta - Professional Foundation Primer
90046 11/7/2012 11:45:00 AM
Mixed feeling about this one! I really like the product (UV Prime) I have kida reddish skin, but the green one is too green for this fair gal! I used about 1/4 of the bottle (pump) no problem and like the way the product smooths my skin before applying my foundation (Prescriptives Photochrome or Virtual Skin in Vellum). It dries quickly and leaves my skin silky smooth. :) BUT, I think there are packaging problems? Did Ulta discontinue this due to packaging? My pump suddenty stopped working, the remaning 75% of product is in the container. :( I noticed that Ulta doesn't have this on their site anymore. Last time I was in the store it was "out of stock" - wondering if they pulled all the product? Anyone know? I would re-buy if they corrected the pump/packaging issue. It's def a good value for the product, esp if you can get it on sale (less than $20)

Lipstick -Chanel - Rouge Coco Shine #61 Bonheur
90046 2/26/2012 6:53:00 PM
Just bought my 2nd tube of this shade. It's a favorite...I have several Rouge Coco Shines and this was my first that needs replacement. That said, it's the only downfall of the product...you go thru a lot because it doesn't have any last power whatsoever. BUT, it's beautiful on and feels good on your lips and the color is perfect on my fair (read pale!) skin. I have a lot of pink in my skin and need a lip color with blue undertones and this does the trick. It's sheer, sparkly and adds the 'oomph" of color my face requires! It's pricey, yes. But it's Chanel...of course it's pricey. Packaging, of course, is Chanel perfection. I also like Rouge Coco Shine in "Aventure" (but it's a distant 2nd to "Bonheur")

Moisturizers -Aveda - Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion
90046 2/20/2012 2:29:00 PM
Love this stuff! Pros: lightweight dries quickly...I apply makeup right after moisturizer pump dispense (HATE jars I have to dip into) Aveda-ish/spa smell - LOVE this Cons: Slightly pricey, but not too bad for a higher end moisturizer Not creamy, if you need serious moisturizing Just started using this about 2 weeks ago. I bought the smaller bottle, $33, I think? I will buy the big boy next time and use it to refill the smaller bottle. This is almost a HG moisturizer for me. I've been bouncing around trying various moisturizers for the past few years. L'Occitane is awful under make-up (IMO), Chanel is too $$$$, Clinique yellow gel (not lotion) doesn't excite me. I had been using Philosophy Hope in a Tube (not in a jar - hate dipping in and getting lotion under my nails - and it just seems plain unsanitary). I think this moisturizer is a really good everyday product for run of the mill skin - I'm not crazy dry, I'm not oily. Just like to give my skin a little drink before I put on my makeup...esp in winter months.

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Mia
90046 1/7/2010 9:54:00 PM
Just bought this tonight - prolly too early to review - will do another review in 2 weeks or so. BUT, I love how my face feels after using this lil Mia! My rough dry lips are much improved, after just one use. I had a Dillard's gift card, so I treated myself. A few weeks ago (when I was stocking up on my Prescriptives before it's all gone forever) the SA used this on me to remove my makeup before she tried a new shade on my face. I loved the demo and thought of buying this since. I love my Sonicare toothbrush, so I knew this would be for me! It's like a facial in your bathroom! More to follow in a few weeks. Pricey, but hopefully worth the $$$

Liquid -Prescriptives - All Skins Mineral Makeup 16 Hour Wear / SPF 10
90046 7/6/2009 10:58:00 AM
Love it, will def buy. I'm using a sample size right now. Cool, level 2 (I'm really fair!) Gives way more coverage than I expected. My skin looks great! Can't wait to get a full sized bottle of this liquid gold. Def buildable. I have full-full coverage today, as I think I used a bit too much! But, it doesn't look like a mask or anything.

Lip Treatments -Prescriptives - Lip Specialist
90046 5/13/2009 3:39:00 PM
Good product! For nighttime treatment. Don't try to put lip color atop this stuff. Moisturizes lips very well. I prefer sticks/wands over pots, so packaging could be better. But, I like what's in that pot. Even if it does cost $15. Grrrr...

Eyeliner -Mary Kay - Eyeliners
90046 5/13/2009 3:34:00 PM
Best eyeliner ever. Tried all dept store brands over the years. I love this liner. Amethyst is the bomb on my blue eyes. Black is too dark. Brown brings out red. This is dark enough to be really neutral and perfect. Goes on smoothly, no need to press hard AT ALL. Goes on with saturated color. Stays on. For $10, good buy!

Lip Treatments -Prescriptives - Intensive Rebuilding Lip Shaper Plumper - Definer
90046 4/9/2009 10:56:00 AM
Ugh. This is one of the few Px products I really dislike! I hate the burning sensation it causes on my lips. I hate the tacky feeling that it leaves on my lips. Didn't give it a chance to "work" over any length of time. Skip this one. Go for Lip Specialist instead, that stuff rocks.

Moisturizers -Prescriptives - intensive rebuilding moisturizer
90046 4/8/2009 5:05:00 PM
Love this stuff. Expensive, yes, but worth it. Prefer the pump (came in gift set) than tub. Pefect moisturizer. The only bad thing is that my hubby likes it too and now "I" go thru it twice as fast! Thick and rich, yet non greasy. I do the Line Preventor, then this, then foundation. Foundation goes atop perfectly. No "drying time" needed! My skin is softer and smoother than it ever has been, and I'm in my late 30s. I'd go without food before I'd go without this product!
