I just started using this about 2 weeks ago....and so far I love it!!! I use it in the morning to cleanse my face and at night after I wash with Cetaphil bar and before tretinoin gel. I was getting clogged pores around my chin, mouth and forehead and now they are gone. When it's done I will get the stronger version (pink) with the 2% salicylic acid.....This one only has .05%. I doesn't sting/burn and gives a slight tingle...and I like the smell too.

I just got his a few days ago and have only used it 5 times...but I like it so far. I also have been using the matching Moisturizer and I LOVE that too!!! This cleanser smells good (fruity) and makes my skin feel very clean. It's a cream cleanser so it doesn't foam and there are tiny little scrubbing beads in it....but they are so small that they are not worth mentioning. While I message it in... it makes my face tingle..but not too much. After my face isn't overly dry/tight unless I use it on the nights that I use Tretinoin Gel (you have to wait 20 mins after washing before you can apply it) it got uncomfortable...lol....but I only use it now when I use the matching Moisturizer after...and it's fine. I don't know if it removes makeup because I pre-wash with Cetaphil Bar. Give this cleanser and it's matching moisturizer a try if you have clogged pores and acne (like me).

I just got this and have only used it 5 times...but so far so good. It goes on semi-matte and absorbs quickly. I also use the matching cleanser...I like that too. I have combo/oily t-zone skin that's acne/clog prone with left over red marks from previous breakouts and overall discolouration and redness. I also use Tretinoin Gel about 3-4 nights a week and that has been helping to fade red marks..but I was still getting clogged pores. In just 5 uses my skin is less red and a giant acne cyst has come to a head and is almost gone...and reg. sized zits have disappeared!! I think I found my HG skin routine....and this stuff is a huge part of it!!!....I will update in a few weeks to tell you if it's still working.

I got this to soothe my skin on the off nights from Tretinoin gel....and it worked....but....2-3 weeks later my chin and forehead were clogged, broken out...just a mess. By the time I extracted all the little clogged pores in my forehead it looked like a Nuclear testing site. However it does work well around my eyes, my neck, body and feet ...and I'll try it on my hair.

Styling Products -Pantene - Anti Frizz Serum

This is a reveiew for Pantene Smooth and shine Anti-Frizz serum (green label). I have very long blonde highlighted hair (almost down to my lower back) and this serum is so far my fave!!!....I havn't cut my hair in a year and a half now and there are only split ends in the last inch or two (need a trim) and this stuff smoothes them out and makes them barely noticable. It's very light and non-greasy and doesn't weigh my hair down....it also makes my hair shiny and smooth. It was only $6.97 at Walmart here in Canada... so it's pretty cheap

Liquid -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind foundation

I'm VERY pale with a lot of pink acne marks and my face appears to be pinker than my neck and this is the only drugstore foundation that comes pale enough to match my skin!!!..It also covers really well....I put it on my skin then dab a little extra where the pink marks are. It is creamy and thick but it's fine with my combo skin. It works really well with NYC pressed powder!!! If you have acne marks I suggest giving this a try. UPDATE: this stopped looking good on me!!!...it started to darken on my face and make my face look pink...I think if it was a little more yellow based I would continue (maybe)

Pressed Powders -New York Color - Pressed Translucent Powder

I just got this pressed powder yesterday and only used it once...but I'm impressed already!!! The packaging is soooo crappy, the compact doesn't even close all the way on mine...but whats inside makes up for it. I've tried many different powders and have always come back to CoverGirl Clean pressed powder....well now I'm probably going to always come back to NYC. I got "translucent" and it's VERY light...I'm VERY pale and it suits me perfect. It goes on smooth and gives a bit of coverage (better than CG) I have combo skin and always have to blot/touch up every couple hours...but not yesterday...My face looked the same at 12am as it did when I put it on at 3pm. It was only $2.67cad at Zellers....really you can't do better than that!!!! UPDATE: I switched to the loose powder and I like that better...but this stuff is still good!!

Self Tanners -Olay - Radiance Reviver for Normal Skin

I've only been using this for 3 nights but I think I love it!!!. The smell is like warm vanilla and flowers and I don't wake up stinky like other self tanners. I tried the Jergens one and it smells like crap right out of the bottle...how could anyone actually use that stuff as an everyday moisturizer??? I believe I have the "old version"..."Quench Radiance Reviver" My sister gave me hers...she never used it 'cause she's really tan and it was given to her as a part of a gift....I'm still going to try other ones to compare colour, eveness and smell....because it's only been 3 nights so there is barely a hint of colour... so who knows UPDATE: it did give me a nice tan colour...but it flaked off in the shower after a few days...it might me my fault??? ...I'll still try it out next summer

Highlighters -Clairol - Herbal Essences highlights

I apply this stuff with the big mascara like wand from the L'Oreal highlight kit, it works much better. It looks very professional when you do it that way...I've gotten many compliments...even my hair stylist asked "who did your highlights?? they look really good" I used the cool blond highlights on my med blonde hair. UPDATE: I think they changed the formula!!!uurrgghh!!! I now prefer Revlon Frost and Glow...less yellow blonde.

I got this yesterday and have used it for the first time today. I usually get the Line Minimizing powder but they didn't have my colour so I got this one instead. I got the colour creamy natural...wich is very pale...like me, as a powder foundation it gives very sheer coverage, but it wouls be an excellent pressed powder. I love the sponge applicator!!!If you are looking for a powder foundation get the Line Minimizing powder instead.

I like this mask, I got it because of the great reviews on it. It is quite similar to Montagne Jenuesse Dead sea mask!! I took off a point for the packaging...really hard to squeeze out even though I just got it. Also the mask is very light almost a gel consistancy. Last night I used it with a few aspirins in it and it really did well!!!! Paid $4.99 Canadian at Pharma Plus...the only place I could find it.

I used to wear this stuff a few years ago then everybody started commenting on it and then they would go out and get it....not before long there was a giant "hawaiian ginger" cloud around me and my friends...I HATE THAT!!!!so I stopped wearing it.

I got this stuff last night and it's my first lip plumper that I've tried. My lips are plump but I have a small mouth with a pronounced cupids bow. It worked on my lower lip better than it worked on my upper lip. Very cool feeling sorta numb...but I like it. TASTES LIKE CRAP. Made my lips a nice rosey colour. It gave me a small plump but I wasn't expecting miracles for $8.99 Canadian. I'm looking forward to trying stronger stuff like lip venom.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Superstay lipcolor

I haven't actually tried this lipstick on my lips....BUT....I tried it on my hand and it wouldn't come off!!! I put the streak on my hand around 8pm Friday and it's now 1am Saturday and it's still on my hand!!!! God knows how many times I've washed my hand!!! and I put my new mask on it...nothing...I washed it with my face cleanser...nothing... I even tried Vaseline....AND STILL NOTHING!!! I think I'm going to go buy this stuff....but you better make sure you REALLY like the colour 'cause it's staying on there!!!!!!!!

I've been using this gel for about 5-6 months now and it's actually helped. It's no maricle cure, but it does the job.***TIP*** If you use a big squirt and message it into your skin it works better...and less sticky. Only use it the reccomended ONCE AT NIGHT because I burned my skin pretty bad when I used it a few times a day on a zit!!! I like how clear my face looks in the morning...very evened out.******** THIS WORKS AMAZING RIGHT AFTER THE ASPIRIN MASK AND TONER!!!!!****** Right now I alternate this with Avene Diacneal every other night...I need something a little stronger at the moment because I'm off "the pill" again and that always breaks me out BIG TIME!!! I also have red acne scars I need to fade. UPDATE: They discontinued this...booo!!!...and the Diacneal made my face worse by the way....lol
