I received a sample of this in a birchbox. I didn't have very high expectations for it, but it really surprised me, so i ended up purchasing a tube of it.The first this I loved about it is how thick and creamy it is. I really like how it feels on very moisturizing on my skin and produces a thick lather. Once rinsed off, it does lave my skin feeling pretty stripped and tight. You know, that 'squeaky clean' feeling. So I definitely have to follow up with moisturizer. A lot of people have comment on the fragrance and I have to agree, it does have a pretty strong perfume-y scent to it. But I really don't mind it too much. The only reason I didn't give it 5 lippies is because of the price. It is fairly expensive for a cleanser, but a little goes a long way, so it should last me a while.

I really like this moisturizer. Not only does it contain SPF, but it also moisturizes well. I thought it was going to be greasy since it is and Aryan product. However, it does not feel greasy at all. It really does sink into my skin and doesn't leave any greasiness. I also love the fragrance! It has a light, fresh, apricot fragrance to it.

Mascara -Josie Maran Cosmetics - gogo Mascara

This mascara did absolutely nothing for my lashes. It did not volumize or lengthen. The only thing this mascara did was make my lashes look slightly fuller and darker. I would not recommend this mascara if you are wanting dramatic results. The only way i would recommend this mascara is if you are looking for a 'natural' mascara that gives back. Apparently the GOGO means get one give one, and they donate money to a charity for every mascara that is sold.

I received this as part of the New Beauty Test Tube from QVC. I was excited to try it, but was very disappointed by it. I have fine, straight hair with little body. I have to shampoo daily to control the greasiness. When I started using the Wen, I was shocked by the fragrance. It had a minty/menthol scent that I was confused by since it is Cucumber Aloe. The fragrance was not overpowering and was gone by the time I got out of the shower. I really wanted to like this product, but it does not work for my fine, greasy hair. With continued use my hair continued to remain greasy at the scalp. My hair did feel great. It is a wonderful product, but I would not recommend it for anyone who tends to have an oily scalp.

Lipstick -Revlon - Fashion's Night Pout

I don't think this lipstick was worth all the hype. It is a beautiful color. but I feel it is so close to Soft Nude that it wasn't worth me purchassing it, since I already had Soft Nude. Soft Nude is more of a peachy color and Fashion's Night Pout leans a little more neutral/pink. I really like the formula of the ColorBurst lipsticks. However, I find that I have to use a good lipliner with them so they don't look streaky on my lips. Overall, its a nice color to have in your nude lipstick collection.

Meow's eyeshadows are definitely my favorite shadows! They have so many fun colors available in a variety of different textures and finishes. I love that you can order samples. I have so many colors from Meow because I end up purchassing a bunch of them at once. Shipping can be a little high if you don't catch a sale. Luckily they have sales often and offer free shipping. I am disappointed by the negative reviews that state they lack pigmentation and staying power. Depending on your own body chemistry and oilyness of your eyelids, you may need a good primer to bring out the color and dimension of Meow's shadows. It is my opinion that Meow's shadows are highly pigmented and easy to blend. They also sell so many fun, sparkly shadows!

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer

I had been using Detrivore primer. It kept creasing on me, so I decided to try Too Faced. I went with Too Faced Shadow Insurance over Urban Decay Primer Potion because of the crappy packaging of the Primer Potion. The TFSI did not disappoint! It keeps my shadow from creasing literally all day! I was not used to this with the Detrivore primer. The consistency and packaging of the product is great. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 rating is because of the price. It is a little on the spendy side at around $18. However, the one tube has lasted me quite a while.

Foundations -Mary Kay - TimeWise Luminous-Wear Liquid Foundation

I have been using mineral foundation and have been wanting to find a great liquid foundation. I have been disappointed in the drugstore foundations color ranges. So I contacted my Mary Kay consultant to try some samples of this foundation. My skin is normal to dry, so I went with the Luminous-Wear over the Matte-Wear. I am impressed by the color selection available and that they actually skin toned colors. It seems like so many foundation these days are too orange or too pink. I matched well to the Beige 4. However, I was considering the Ivory 5. The coverage is medium, but is buidable. The finish is amazing! When it said "luminous" I expected it to be shimmery or too dewy. But it's not. Its a great foundation that simply makes your skin look amazing! It wears well. Does not feel cakey or mask-like. I can hardly feel it on. I am so glad I decided to purchase this foundation. I did purchase the foundation primer also and would suggest checking it out too.

Mascara -Avon - SuperMagnify

I love this mascara! I randomly bought it when it first came out, not expecting too much out of it. But I was impressed. I didn't think a wand that is small as the Super Magnify wand would be able to provide volumizing results, but somehow it does. It really seperates my lashes and provides both length and volume. It does take me longer to apply my mascara with this small wand than it does with a regular mascara wand. I think its because it takes me more time to work the smaller wand completely thru my lashes. The price is awesome. You can usually pick it up on sale for $4.99. I have officially switched from LashBlast over to Super Magnify!

My HG! This stuff is like a bronzer, only better! Ever since I got my first sample of this product, I have been finishing my face with it every time I wear makeup. It is the perfect color for medium complexion women to use everyday to enhance their look without the look of a "bronzer." I find bronzers can look to heavy at times. This stuff finishes you off and gives you an amazing glow.

Amazing moisturizer! I was a little hesitant to try this product because it is "an oil." However, I did try it and I love it! It is a great moisturizer and excellent on sensitive skin. I have been developing more skin irritations and problems as my skin ages. This stuff works great on dry skin and wrinkles. Joppa Mineral's website also says it has anti- inflammatory properties and high natural SPF. While I did find it a little pricey, one bottle is going to last a looong time! It has defiantely made my skin look and feel much more alive in the past 3 weeks! I would definately recommend Joppa Minerals skin care line for anybody who is looking for natural skin care.

I have been looking for a new skin care line. I have been using Oil of Olay, but it recently seemed to start irritating my skin. I stumbled across Joppa Mineral and decided to try some of their natural skin care products. My skin is fairly dry and I have been using anti-aging products, so I decided to try their line of products recommended for aging skin. I love this cleanser! It is a very basic gel cleanser with no strong oders. It lathers nicely and leave my skin feeling great! I have been very pleased with it. While I have only been using it for about 3 weeks now, it has not been irritating my skin like the Oil of Olay products started to do. I would highly recommend anybody who is looking for a natural skin care line that is paraben and sulfate free to check out Joppa Minerals!

I received this lip balm as part of the "Mystery Grab Bag" I ordered from Joppa Minerals. I absolutly love it! It was not something I would have typically ordered myself, but since it came as part of the grab bag, I thought I would give it a try. It has a very smooth consistency, it is very mositurizing, and gives my lips a nice sheen. I am a lip balm junkie, constantly looking for the perfect lip balm. I think the lip balms from Joppa Minerals may be it!

I use this brush for applying bronzer and complection enhancers. I am very pleased with it. I like the physical size of the brush. It fits in my hand well and is easy to control when applying bronzer. I have not found the bristles to be too harsh on my skin. To me it is a great finishing brush when I want to buff everything together when I am almost done with my makeup.

I love this brush! I received it as part of a kit. It is a great shadow brush. I have found it effective for lightly lining my lower lashline when I want a soft, natural look. It also does well blending colors.
