Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

At first, I have to say that I did not like this foundation. I got my sample at the end of the Summer here and it was still hot and humid. I had been using MUFE Mat Velvet + and it was perfect for me in the Georgia heat. With the humidity HD looked way too shiny. I decided to give this foundation another try when the air got dryer and the temp. went lower. My skin seemed to get a tad too try with my beloved MV+. Amazing! I use my MAC 187 to tap it on and buff. It gives wonderful coverage and makes my skin look nice and matte but also gives this beautiful velvet glow. Truly like faces look in the magazines! An airbrushed, glowing finish. It looks just as good at the end of the day as it does when I first put it on. My color in MUFE Mat Velvet is 40 and I have found that I can use either 118 or 120 in HD. They are both so close that I can hardly tell the difference in color. I think 120 may have a tad more yellow but it is not any darker than 118. I plan to re-purchase and will likely use this during the winter and MV during the summer.

Blush -NARS - Sertao [DISCONTINUED]

This is the best blush!!! It is my HG color. This blush looks nothing on like it looks in the pan. The only way I know to describe it is that it looks like your face is bathed in candlelight. I use this with my skunk brush and it gives just the right amount of color. A little goes a long way!!!!

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation

This is now my HG of liquid foundations. It leaves my skin very mat and has wonderful coverage but does not feel heavy. I am oily in the T-zone and I use this with the Mat loose powder by MUFE. I really love this and will definitely repurchase!

Great product. This does what it says...really gave my roots a lift. Be careful though, if you use too much it can really make your hair feel dirty.

Powder -Make Up For Ever - Duo Mat Powder foundation

I have only used this for 2 days but so far I love it. It goes on nice and smooth. It feels like silk. It does not feel heavy on my combination t-zone oil-prone skin. I have been using mmu for about 2 yrs now and did not think that I would ever go back to any other foundation but after seeing a pic of someone with this on and all the rave reviews I decided to try it. It covers well and has stayed matte even though it has been really hot here and lasted well for about 12 hours...looked great even when it was time to wash off. It did not feel heavy which is what I was afraid of especially after using mmu for so long...everything else feels like a mask. I am NW20 and purchased 201. For summer it is a bit light but with bronzer it is fine. Its a beautiful product. I will update in a few weeks.(Update: I love this foundation..its my HG. However the color was way off. I finally ended up with 205 and it matches my summer skin perfect. I'm still only giving it 4 lippies b/c of the poor color selection. Even their pressed powder has a poor color selection. Could not find that in my color. No breakouts or anything from this. I use it most every day. Love, Love!)

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Face & Body Foundation

I cannot believe the reviews for this are so good. I absolutely hated this mu!!! I have combination skin and it is usually pretty flawless. This makeup looked terrible on me. Honestly, my face looked like it was plastic. Every pore and any little bit of dry skin that normally doesn't show up when I wear make-up showed up with this. It felt as if it was slipping off of my face. Every time I touched my face my fingers came away with make-up on them. It looked awful! If you want a matt look do not use this makeup!

Lip Gloss -C.O. Bigelow - Mentha Lip Tint No 1139

I love this gloss. It is my HG with MAC Half Red lip liner. It has just the right amount of color and the taste is so nice and refreshing! Very nice in Hot weather! I will continue to purchase this and other glosses from C.O. Bigelow!

Primer/ Corrector -Philosophy - The Present Clear Makeup

This is my HG in primers. Works great for my combination skin. I love the smell as well. I have used LM and Smash Box Photofinish and I honestly think The Present beats the socks off of them! Makes my skin look awsome and keeps my mu looking fresh all day!

Lip Liners -MAC - Half-Red

I absolutely love Half Red lip liner. At first I did not think this color would work for me but it is truely a beautiful color. Its not red at all. I use this with a lip gloss almost everyday. It is my HG in lipliners! I would think this would work for most any skin tone. Pretty neutral.

Foundations -Philosophy - the supernatural airbrush canvas

This is the very best mmu that I have ever used! Its really a nice matte, truely airbrushed look and covers well. The color is very forgiving and blends really well with my skin tone. I am a NW20 and purchased the beige formula. I am very oily in the T-zone and honestly I can go all day without touch ups. I have used it again in the middle of the day just to "freshen up" and it did not look heavy or cakey at all! This is going to be my HG for sure!!!!
