Sunscreen -Cerave - Face Lotion SPF 50

First of all, my skin breaks out very easiIly, and I don't like to wear slot of makeup. Though a lot of people are saying that it goes on ghostly white...it could but what I do, since it is thick, I do a little at a time and I don't look white at all. Then it will soak in and not look white. Also, when they say oil-free they meant it-that's why I think it's so hard to spread of your face, and is the reason why I do it in sections with a little at a time. I don't need powder on top of this, it goes on so oil-free that I don't shine all day, even atfter reapplying it in the middle of the day. It literally keeps me shine free. But remember iF you try this, you have to do it in sections, so little sunscreen dots on your forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose, then gently rub it in. If you take a big heap of it you will definitely turn white without a doubt. After you rub it in, you can do it again depending on how much you want. The reviewers that gave this a terrible review probably rubbed alot at one time. But this is a truly amazing sunscreen that is effective, keeps my skin feeling and looking great, and is only $15. Please try It, and take my advice too...it will change your view on it. I promise. it's amazing!

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Andes Nature - Cosmetic Snail Extract Cream (Baba De Caracol)
rated 5 of 5

First of all, I have acne prone skin that is extremely dry--which totally sucks by the way. I have tried so many cremes and lotions to sooth my irritated flaky skin, and often it would either end in: 1)no moisture, but no break out, or 2)break-out, but moisturizing. But after my mom continued to rave about this, i decided to give it a try. I use this as a night creme, and am currently trying it out during the day as well--and so far, i love it! I bought this at Target for about $5 and the tub is a good size too, so not expensive whatsoever. It has a light florally scent, that I feel smells wonderful, but im glad it doesnt llinger, but goes away quite quickly. I do wish this was slightly more moisturizing. I really love this creme though, it just isnt as moisturing as I wish it would be. However, this creme really soaks in to the skin quickly, and does not leave the skin looking oily, slick, or greasy. Some products I feel can soak in right away, but later on in the day, you look in the mirror and your makeup is gone and your face is slimy feeling--not with this lotion. It works beautifully under makeup, doesnt break me out, and retains all its moisture. Again, I wish it were a little more moisturizing, but then again, I do have VERY dry skin, so a little bit of vaseline will have to do. but I will definitely continue to buy again and again, because it is an outstanding find. Also, my mom (who is 48 years old) also uses and loves this creme, and since using this creme, her skin looks more radiant, plump, and younger....and thats not through what I have observed, but others as well. Definitely try this, for $5, whats to lose?

Polishes -Essie - Miss Fancy Pants
rated 5 of 5
247swimchick9 4/5/2013 12:42:00 AM

This is such a beautiful grey/nude color that literally goes with everything. I have gotten so many compliments when I wear this, and the color goes on beautifully. I put on two coats, but thats just personal preference, there is enough pigment in this nail polish for one coat if you wanted. This nail polish can stay on for a couple days without any signs of chipping, which is nice compared to other brands. This polish runs for $8 normally (walgreens) but I actually got it on sale for $2. The only thing I wish Essie did was put more of the mixer balls in the polish, because it can tend to get clumpy. I prefer watery nail polishes rather than thick ones, which i feel essie is, but you need to shake it a couple of times before applying.

Conditioner -TiGi - Bed Head Foxy Curls Conditioner
rated 5 of 5
247swimchick9 4/4/2013 2:56:00 AM

holy cow. when i washed my hair in the shower, i swear there was an explosion between skittles and starbursts flowing through the water and splashing on my hair--basically what im trying to say--THIS SHIZZ MAKES MY HAIR SMELL LIKE CANDY GOODNESS. yes, candy--what the hecks not to like, right?! and not to mention, this stuff, actually does what a conditioner is supposed to. believe me, ive been on the search for quite sometime to tame my damaged, curly, frizzy, and untamed mess of hair--and this...this is quite the find if i do say so myself. I have tried paul mitchell, wen, john frieda, its a 10, drugstore brands ranging from herbal essences, garnier, and dove...you name it. this...is...blissful in a tube. the only thing--the price and the packaging. personally i prefer pump bottles in the shower, because i feel it to be less of a "hassle" but thats just my lazy self talking, so im willing to deal with it. As for the price, this for me was a definite splurge. I asked my boyfriend to help me find a conditioner that smelled yummy, I bought this for $17 at CVS...but since im the type of girl who likes to soak my hair in conditioner, it may run out qiuckly. I may have to find a dupe for this if I want to continue having money in my bank account--but honestly, treat yourself to this once in your life. It totally makes you smile in the shower...if thats not creepy...

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Cure - Natural Aqua Gel
rated 4 of 5
247swimchick9 3/18/2013 12:05:00 PM

I bought this online, due to the great reviews on this site and on youtube. At first i was a little skeptical about the actual effectiveness of exfoliation, but it actually works. I used acne treatment that dried my skin, and left my skin flaky. I put this on, left it on for about thirty seconds, and started to rub in circular motions, you don't need to apply pressure. It did an excellent job of taking off dead skin, and all the flaky skin was gone. I gave this product four lipppies because I felt this product was pretty pricey, i bought it on amazon for about $30 (if i remember correctly) and though it did take off flaky dry skin, it also made my skin a little dry, which I am fine with as long as you have a face lotion at your side. It's one of those squeaky clean feel wash, so if you like that- youll love this! I like this product a lot, but once I run out, i'll try to find a cheaper alternative, and just explore different products, but this is an awesome exfoliation that doesn't strip the skin like a scrub might do, but gives you the same results.

Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Red Velvet
rated 4 of 5
247swimchick9 3/17/2013 12:51:00 AM

First off, LOVED THE COLOR! this is such a beautiful color, that looks great on the lips. the amount of pigment and moisture that goes in to the lips is on point. The lasting power, I have to say it won't stay all day, but maybe like a couple hours at most. It is deifinitely one that needs touching up. But i mean, come on--this is one that actually moisturizes!!! The packaging however, I felt was a little messy. I don't know, it's never really happened to me, but this got messy really fast. i got on to the sides of the container, and on to my fingers, as well as the lid. I have no idea how it got there, because I would wind is down so that none of the product would be out, but it just got messy. so i thought, "maybe it was just this one" nope...i bought another one, and it got messy too. Weird...i like to keep things clean, so its not like im throwing it around and messing with it a ton. But other than that--great product, and you should definitely try it if you're looking for a nice lip color. Also the price isn't too bad, I bought mine for about $7, but then I thought to myself--this is basically a lip balm and lipstick in one, so what the heck, thats not half bad.

Lip Treatments -Nivea - Lip Butter
rated 4 of 5
247swimchick9 3/17/2013 12:43:00 AM

I purchased the Raspberry Rose and the Vanilla Macadamia nut lip butters. Let's start off with, the smell--THEY SMELL AMAZING! Im a total sucker for scents, and these smell fantastic, especially the Raspberry Rose (I like fruity/floral scents slightly more), I do wish however that Nivea made their lip butters have a taste that matched the scent--that would have been even better! these actually don't taste like anything, which could be a pro or a con, depending on what you like. As for my lips, I felt these lip butters were pretty standard. My lips can get pretty chapped, ad when they get chapped they sometimes will need HEAVY DUTY, this isn't heavy duty enough for those types of days, but when my lips are normal (not peeling, etc.) then this product is pretty nice.

Shampoo -It's a 10 - Miracle Moisture Shampoo
rated 3 of 5
247swimchick9 3/17/2013 12:34:00 AM

Honestly, this product was alright. It isn't something that i would rave about to friends and family, but its not something that I'll tell them not to buy either. its an average shampoo. First off, my hair is frizzy, dry, damaged, but by the end of the day, my hair can be quite oily. I used the shampoo and conditioner set. The smell is alright, it doesn't bother me, but its not like i'll be wanting to sniff my hair all day. The only thing that I did like about the shampoo and conditioner set, is that it didnt really seem to weigh my hair down, usually I would have to wash my hair everyday with a regular drugstore shampoo, but with this, I felt like I could do every other day, which is quite a relief! But for the price--I personally don't think that it's worth it. I'd rather buy something more affordable that smells fantastic, than buy this again. If you are considering buying this, I did like the shampoo a lot better than the conditioner, I felt the conditioner didn't make my hair feel moisturized at all, but left my hair feeling a little dry. The shampoo was pretty hydrating I felt, without stripping my hair, and without leaving a residue of some sort. I'm not giving this set a bad review at all, just that it is quite pricey, and for me, that money could be better spent on another product.

Candles -Thymes Limited - Frasier Fir
rated 5 of 5
247swimchick9 1/16/2013 10:00:00 PM

The smell is the most amazing smell in the whole entire world. You walk in to the room and it fills the air with the most wonderful scent your nose has ever smelt. Though the scent is Frasier Fir, and smells like a christmas tree, it also has this sweet smell that i cant quite describe. It is not overpowering, and is a great candle. I got it as a gift, and I loved it so much that I searched where to buy them, and let me tell you--they are ridiculously expensive, a 6.5 oz. candle is about $35...thats a lot of money to lay down for a candle. But if they ever go on sale, ill be buying the lot of them, because they truly smell amazing.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Extra Gentle Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
247swimchick9 7/12/2012 11:17:00 PM

This is an extremely gentle cleanser great for sensitive dry skin. I in fact have acne, and it doesn't seem to both my acne at all--in fact I think my skin has gotten much better after using this (also have dry skin). I take my makeup before I use this cleanser, and I wash with a washcloth and gently rub my face with the towel and cleanser, if i didn't do that, i'd feel as if the cleanser was still on my face, like a residue or something since its such a creamy formula. All in all, its an extremely gentle cleanser for all skin types, but mostly for dry and/or sensitive skin. I recommend using a washcloth or something like a clarisonic if you have one to pair with this cleanser, so you get an all over clean feel. But a very good non-irritating cleanser that never makes my face feel dry or tight--actually makes it feel moisturized.

Cleansers -MAC - Cleanse Off Oil
rated 5 of 5
247swimchick9 6/16/2012 2:33:00 AM

I love this product! Its really great. I used to use avocado oil to take off my makeup but i hated how it would leave an oil residue, and would really have to scrub my face in order to get rid of it. Then I used pond's cold cream, and the same thing would occur. I was tired of tugging at my skin just to get makeup off. So I decided to give this a try according to the great reviews on youtube and such. You put it on your face and rub in gently like any other cleanser, then over the eyes. Then wash off. What I like about it is that it takes off ALL makeup including waterproof mascara, and it turns into a milky cleanser when you add water! Its truly an amazing product. I really don' need to have another cleanser-this will do! It leaves a very clean feel, without being dried out--but moisturized. I recommend this to anyone, and ANY skin type. (I have combination/acne prone skin--and it's lovely.) I bought this at Macy's for $26, which, to me, is pretty pricey--but I believe it to be 100% worth it.

Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles
rated 4 of 5
247swimchick9 6/6/2012 1:16:00 AM

I was so sad to see that Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector had discontinued, it was seriously my favorite concealer ever! but then I decided to give this one a try. First off, the packaging is TERRIBLE. I've heard that some people have ripped the top off, and that it worked nicely, but the sponge tip is such a terrible applicator to the skin. But other than that the product is actually quite nice. Its actually the same as the Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector-the concealer part that is. For me, it stays on pretty nicely if i set it with a powder, which ever mattifying powder you like. It covers my acne and acne scars, and it is pretty nice under the eyes. I dont recommend using the sponge to blend it in, but dab where you want it, and use your finger or a brush. All in all, I really like the concealer, and recommend it if you have acne-prone, redness, and combination skin. (bought this from target for about $7)

Moisturizers -Garnier - Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream
rated 4 of 5
247swimchick9 5/12/2012 1:18:00 PM

First of all, i have really dry skin. A friend recommended this product to me, and I am so glad that she did! I was a little skeptical about it being like a gel-since people with more oily skin tend to use gel lotions, but i bought it anyway (for about $8 at CVS). It almost looks like a liquidy jello, but once you rub it in to your skin, it automatically makes your skin feel smooth, and supple-my skin absorbed it right up! Its such a lovely product, that absorbs right into your skin, and actually STAYS. I feel like creme lotions kinda just stay on the top of my skin, and doesn't actually soak in to it. This is definitely one to try. Plus the product has a nice light scent to it as well, it is definitely not overpowering smell, and actually is a soothing/calming smell thats very fresh-an "fresh out of the shower" kinda smell. All in all, i definitely recommend this(:

Scrubs -St. Ives - Green Tea Scrub
rated 5 of 5
247swimchick9 7/25/2011 3:16:00 PM

So i truly have combination skin, actually my skin can sometimes be out of control. sometimes it will be super oily, other times it will be dry-both of the extremes. (I'm a swimmer, so that means that I'm in the sun 24/7 and I'm constantly in the pool which is filled with different chemicals-so thats the reason for my skin being so...bipolar) Also, i have acne. This scrub was light enough-to not irritate my sensitive skin, but was still a decent scrub that gave my skin a clean and smooth feeling. I also thought that the apricot scrub was too abrasive, and wanted a lighter one. This also cut down the redness in my skin (from sunburns etc.) and got rid of my acne! I have cystic acne when my "monthly friend" comes along. so i was on my period and i started breaking out, and then i bought this-and let me just say, "WOW!" I'm so happy that i did! This also did not dry out my skin nor did it make me oily-it balanced my skin out, and I truly believe that, if you have skin problems similar to mine-give this a try! I think it was $7 at Walgreens, so why not! hope this helps(:

Treatments -Clean & Clear - Persagel 10
rated 3 of 5
247swimchick9 9/19/2010 1:52:00 AM

Yes!Yes!Yes! I have used tons and tons of anti-acne products, and this is by far the best. I use it all the time, and it takes care of m acne without irritating my sensitive skin. This is far better than any other drugstore product, and even better than a department store product. If you have been struggling with cystic acne, let alone acne in general, this product is a definite MUST try. I bought this at Walgreens for about $6. the only bad thing, is that it can dry out your skin. EDIT: its an "ehhhhh" product. It takes a long time to be effective ,and makes your skin flaky, so put lotion on!
