I went to large superstore near my house and bought a bunch of sunscreens made specifically for the face and this was my favorite. <\p> I've been using it solely for about 2 months now. It does not sting whatsoever. I've accidentally gotten it into my eyes on a few occasions and it did not irritate at all. I worry that its protection might not be adequate as it goes on very light. It leaves no visible residue and does not look or feel greasy; seems to go on very "matte," which I definitely like. It does not look like I am wearing anything when it is on. The bottle says that it is waterproof, which is important. It is made in Canada and I think that's a bonus. I don't know why everyone is complaining about its scent: it is rather pleasant and extremely weak. After applying it, its scent quickly vanishes. Nobody can really "smell it" on you. <\p> The one big CON about this sunscreen is that my facial skin has been looking more and more haggard and dull since (approximately) I started using it. This could be due to the fact that I have not been washing my face any more than once a week for the last 3-4 months. The bottle states that this sunscreen is photostable, so my facial skins dullness is probably due to not washing often. <\p> It serves okay as a base to put my makeup over. I have rosacea on my T-Zone so I really only apply makeup over that area. It goes on nicely everywhere else, but on my nose it looks streaky with makeup over it. <\p> All-in-all, this is probably the best "cheap," common sunscreen that you are going to find for your face. Next time I need sunscreen I think I will try Sofina or Shiseido. From what I hear those are much higher quality, though they cost substantially more.
