Styling Products -Aveda - Pure Abundance Hair Potion

So i've gone through a whole bottle of this. The bottle itself is very small, but you really only need a couple of shakes per use. The best use I found for this was as a dry shampoo. & although I love how weightless it was, to get any volume at my roots I needed alot more of this and in the end left my hair kind of greasy. I wanted so badly for this to be my little hair potion, but the search continues...
Ok, so it may be because I have kind of long hair, but this was really nothing to rave about. The only thing I like about this product is that it is fairly natural. Other then that it left me with crunchy hair that had very little volume and body. Any drug store mousse could achieve this for me. The smell is very herby. Its not delicious, but definitely not bad. Overall, it's one of those products that although are not bad per se, they are just not something you would buy again because there are better products out there.

Honestly, sugar mixed with your fav cleanser is soo much better then this. & mixing sugar with whatever cleanser you know and love will not break you out. I am using this on my body just to use it up because it is def not special in any way.
Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush in Whipped Strawberries [DISCONTINUED]

I don't know why but this looks so so so unnatural on me when I put it on during the day. (I am not super fair either) No matter how little I put on it just does not look good. I have tried using my fingers, a brush and a sponge and it just does not blend well. I use this when I go out at night just to use it up and it looks ok. Overall it looks like a blotchy mess on my cheeks for everyday use. Stila's CC's work better for me(easy to blend, natural color)
I really wanted to like this sunscreen, but it broke me out. I have to say that it does leave your skin pretty matte & the smell isn't too bad.
I have this in golden tan and it is simply way too red to be used all over the face. I look sunburned. I will try another color (the extra dark one) because of all the raves, to see if it is indeed a bronze color that can be used all over the face. The one I have may be used as a blush I guess. I will edit after trying the other color!
I have to say that I bought this because it was suppose to be SLS free. But, as another reviewer mentioned it actually is not so if your looking for a true SLS free shampoo look elsewhere. Nevertheless, this shampoo leaves my hair very shiny, soft and frizz free. No exceptional volume, but it doesn't make my hair flatter. I have been using it for over a month now and it's not drying out my hair at all, although for some reason my scalp seems to be itchy (maybe from this, but im not positive) Overall i'm happy. [EDIT]: so since I started using another shampoo (kiss my face) the itching anymore.
Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Shock Gloss 3D Magnifying Lipgloss

I think that I actually found a gloss that I will repurchase. It gives lips such amazing shine with only a hint of color. It is cheap so I can reapply whenever I want to and use it everyday. Also, it does not dry out my lips at all. Overall: not special, but it's everything I want a lipgloss to be. shiny, smooth, not drying.
First off. This scent is not very original. It is so similar to Light Blue. I have tried Light Blue before and did not like it and this scent being so similar was a no go. It's a nice clean and fresh scent, but not for me. It lasts really long though, right into the next day.
Crème -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Cream Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

This was an o.k foundation. The coverage was not bad. The color was not good though. It always seemed to be way too pink. The staying power was also good. Although it did tend to rub off a bit. The best thing about this was the texture. It blended easily and looked so flawless, almost as if you had nothing on.
I have to say that I am suprised at all the good reviews. It does smell like something my grandma would wear although i dont think that even she would enjoy this one. I don't know if it is my body chemistry, but this stuff reeked, especially at first. Then it later settled down, but still completly and utterly not for me (19). Waaay too strong and cloying.
So, I am on a never ending quest to find an HG scent that just captivates me. I'm sorry to say that this was not it. Like the previous reviewer it smelled like lemon soap/deterget .. it smelled like my laundry room. After all the positive reviews I was sure that I would fall in love with this one. Maybe it was just my body chemistry ..
I do not personally use this because I find that it is a wee bit too mature for me. (i am 19) BUT, my mom uses it. She loves it. I love it. My dad loves it. And so does everyone else. I love it more then any of her Chanel scents. It is just classy and sophisticated, but NOT in any way an 'old-lady' scnet. I havent even found a scent for me that I can truly call HG and rate a whole 5 lippies, but without hesitation I am rating this one with a full 5 because it is just that darn pretty.
To start off this is indeed a stronger perfume, but somehow it def reminds me of summer months or even a bit of the tropics, but in a sophisticated way if that makes any sense. I dont know if I would wear this everyday to school, but I would def wear it in the summer months when your always out and about, shopping, going to the beach, going for brunch or even on lazy afternoons. Oh, and it is the absolute perfect scent for when you are going away on vacation to somewhere warm. So pretty.
I would say that this is a very safe scent.. pretty and very light. If you are familiar with the hills, I am no trendsetter like Whitney who can rock anything, but more of a Lauren and Lo put together who are simpler, but still chic and fun. Nevertheless I find that this scent was way too simple. Plus the lasting power is horrible.
