First of all, I was surprised at how small the tube seemed. However, a little goes a long way. I'm pale and this looks nice with my complexion-sort of a shiny pinky peach. Very natural, but accentuates my lips. I'm a huge Smashbox fan, so I plan to buy other colors as well. Great gloss!
Lipstick -Vincent Longo - Lip Stain in Belle Etoile

Lovely shade! I've never used Vincent Longo before, but I really liked the sample so I bought the lipstick. I'm fairly pale with green eyes, and this lippie looks great with my coloring. It goes on very smooth and lasts through my morning classes. It's one of the few dark lippies I can actually wear-I will definitely buy again!
Treatments -L'Oreal - ReNoviste Anti-Aging Glycolic Peel Kit
14angel19 3/25/2005 4:12:00 PM
I was pleasantly surprised with this product. After debating between this and the Microdermabration kit, I decided on this and have no regrets! I have oily, acne-prone skin and am hesitant to use new products. The peel itself is left on for 5 minutes, I had no problems with burning. You then apply a neutralizer and then rinse. I was also a little scared of the last step, the moisturizer, clogging my pores, but after a few months of using it I can report no problems!! I do not have a reduction in the size of my pores, but my skin has been clearer, brighter and glowing. I had little red lines by my nose for some reason before, and they have started fading since I started using this. Obviously this is nothing compared to what you'd get at a derms office-it's a much lower concentration of the peel-for it's worth the $15 for me and I plan to keep this as part of my skin care routine. This is the first L'Oreal skincare product I've liked!
Love this stuff! I bought it after it was recommended to me for use on my oily, acne-prone face. I can't use any other self-tanners successfully on my face without breakouts. I use a thin layer of this at night, and in the morning I have color! And no breakouts. It doesn't turn my Linsday Lohan orange or a super dark tan, but it does give me the realistic color I want. I paid around $20, but if you're only looking for a light tan like me, a little will go a long way. I may just not notice it, but it didn't smell to me at all. Will definitely repurchase!
Very natural. If you're looking for super made up lashes, this probably isn't the product for you. It goes on smoothly, no clumps, darkens my lashes nicely and helps define my lashes. This is also gentle on my eyes-I have problems with lots of mascaras due to my contacts. I would recommend for anyone looking for a nice mascara to compliment eyes without being too showy.
Treatments -Clean & Clear - Maximum Strength Overnight Acne Patches

I was very surprised by this product. My skin has gone insane lately, and I've been looking for something to help because Persagel hasn't been helping as much. Although I looked ridiculous with spot patches all over my face, they worked!! The patches stayed on my face throughout the night, which I didn't expect because I toss and turn a lot. When I woke up in the morning, my blemishes really had gone down. They didn't all magically disappear, but the fact they went down a lot was noticable. My skin was a bit dried out around where I used the patches, but I prefer that to big red pimples. I was really pleased with the patches and will repurchase.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - On The Loose Shimmering Powder - Flash Light

I love all the OTL powders, but this one in particular. It's a gold powder. I don't really use on my eyes a lot unless I'm blending; my favorite use of this is to mix a tiny bit with my moisturizer and foundation and apply it on my face. I'm fairly pale, and after applying this my face really brightens up. The trick to only use a little, otherwise it'll look totally fake. My only gripe with this and the rest of the OTL priducts is the packaging; it's very easy to spill if not careful. Great product!!
I bought this in Blushing and Dreamy. Blushing, I didn't so much love, but I gave this product 4 lippies because I love Dreamy so much. The smell doesn't bother me, but the staying power isn't the greatest. Blushing turns out as a dark rosy color on me that just isn't the most flattering (PPP, brown hair and green eyes), but Dreamy is a beautiful plummy color. I probably won't repurchase because I already have a million l/s, but it's a nice color with a not so great product.
Highlighters -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaGlo Face Illuminator [DISCONTINUED]
14angel19 9/13/2004 8:25:00 PM
Bought this for $2 at Walgreens. It's a pretty pearly pink color, and you get a lot for the price. When I first put it on as a highlighter, it seemed to enlarge my pores and didn't look very natural (I'm a PPP). I played around with it though, and discovered it looks lovely mixed in with my moisturizer-provides a pretty glow. It also looked nice with my normal blush over it. It didn't cause any breakouts or skin problems.
Liquid -Neutrogena - Skin Clearing Oil-Free Makeup
14angel19 9/13/2004 8:22:00 PM
This isn't my HG foundation-I only bought it after leaving my normal one at home during a trip..it sure did the job though! I'm PPP with oily skin, and I bought this is Blushing Ivory-perfect color! It provided great coverage as well, and evened out my skin tone. It didn't make me peel or anything. I won't rebuy because I already have a HG, plus this contains Salicylic Acid and I treat my face with BP-don't want to mix them. Overall, great foundation!
This power works very well on me. I am a PPP with oily skin, and I use this in transclucent. I use a mattifier first, and then this over. It looks really pretty, and doesn't enlarge my pores. Staying power is good. This is my second repurchase-I love it. Good quality for the price!
I love this shampoo! My salon gave me a free bottle after I got my hair colored. It smells wonderful, cleans my oily saclp well and my hair comes out shiny and healthy looking. I will definitely stick with this for a while.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaEyes Creme Eyeshadow - #196 Champagne Toast
14angel19 8/14/2004 1:13:00 AM
I was very surprised by this. I applied loose powder on my lids first (oily skin), then layered this on. It was so pretty! It comes off as a slight beige with glitter-but not bad, teen glitter. It was more like a shimmer on my eyes. I was going to use this as a base, but decided to keep this alone and Benefit Dandelion and pink gloss-I got lots of compliments on my m/u. Staying power was good-it didn't rub off through the night. I will definitely repurchase, especially for the price!
Cleansers -L'Oreal - Purezone skin clearing gel cleanser
14angel19 8/13/2004 3:40:00 PM
Hated this product. I have oily, acne-prone skin and a friend recommended this. The cleanser itself isn't bad; it's easy to rinse and took off all my makeup. However, within two days I had broken out all over my face. I immediately stopped it and went back to my old regime, and my skin is clear now. Will not touch ANY L'Oreal skincare product again.
Love, love, love this stuff. I bought two-for-one at Walgreens, and am so happy with this purchase. I bought Timeless Tawny and Naked Ambition, both fantastic colors for me (PPP, brown hair and green eyes). I got lots of compliments last night while wearing Naked Ambition. They are, of course, not endless; but they did last longer than my MAC lippies. The smell didn't bother me at all. They weren't really drying, and they didn't flake on me. I did use Lipsmackers over them one night, and the color still looked great. I will def. repurchase Naked Ambition. Without the BOGOF, I think they were about $7 each.
