I haven't bought this shade myself, but one of my friends has it and i think i found a dupe...the darkest shade in the Rimmel Galm eyes 019 sun safari quad.

Liquid -Bourjois - Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation

This is so far, my favourite foundation! First of all, the packaging is great for a drugstore foundation! It has a pump which is pretty hard to find in the drugstore. The price, however, is pretty high for drugstore--i can't remember the exact price, but it was over $20 here in Canada. This foundation does have a semi-matte finish, like it claims. It sets without looking greasy and feels nice to the touch. I do still set it with a powder, MAC MSF Natural, although i probably could get away without doing that. Its staying power is pretty good too! I have combination skin, and I do find that by the end of the day, i look a little oily in my T-Zone, but nothing extreme by any means. I apply it with my fingers, because i feel like that works the best to blend liquids into the skin, and it blends seamlessly! On the bottle, it says that the coverage is 1/3 (I'm guessing that means light on a scale of light, medium, or full) and i find it does actually provide more of a light-medium coverage, especially if you go over in your problem areas once more with a little bit of extra product (I just pat a bit extra onto my cheeks and nose, which have redness, after i blend the initial layer across my face). It looks very natural as well! I went into sephora the other day to pick up a mineral powder foundation (Korres) which i have always wanted to try out, and when the lady was colour matching me she commented saying "you have great skin! what are you using?" and when i told her it was just Bourjois, a drugstore foundation, she looked rather taken back saying "well it looks very natural!"

Powder -Korres - Mineral Powder Foundation

I just picked this up yesterday, so I can't comment on my skinds reaction to it yet, although I bought it because I have sensitive skin which breaks out fairly easily and this is a natural product, so I really hope I don't react to it! But so far, what I can say, is that this foundation does live up to it's claims: brightening, buildable coverage, natural finish. I would say it has more of a light-medium coverage, but its leaning towards light, in my opinion (although I am used to using liquid foundation--bourjois healthymix serum, which I love by the way!). So if you're looking for at least medium coverage, I wouldn't recommend this, my redness and blemishes peak through, but it evens my skin tone, which is all I really wanted from it. As for the brightening aspect, it has reflective particles that illuminate the skin beautifully! You can't see inidivudal shimmer particles, like in the aveeno positively radiant tinted moisurizer, it just adds a nice healthy sheen to your skin. The only downside to this, though, is that if you have an uneven texture to your skin, like I do, this will highlight all those imperfections. But overall, the pros outweigh the cons for me. Also, I'm very impressed with the appearance of the actual product on my skin! I have never used a powder foundation before, only the MAC MSF Natural as a setting powder, but this doesn't even look like powder; the MAC MSF Natural looks way more powdery than this! It looks very natural and is very easy to blend (I use the Sephora Professional Mineral Brush). Overall, i would say the main cons for me are just the price and the packaging. It is pretty expensive, $37 in Canada, and it does not have any sort of stopper to prevent the powder from coming out, like bare minerals does. I just keep the sponge it comes with in the container to act as a bit of a barrier for the powder, which works pretty well.

Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
14K35911 8/8/2012 3:01:00 AM
I have re-purchased this product already and i still love it. I use shade 103, and I started out using it as a foundation, but I later noticed it's such a close match to my skin-tone that I now just use it as a concealer under my eyes and around my nose, without any other products to blend it or anything! It does last very well, I workout a lot and it never looks patchy or streaky or cakey. It might slightly wear off, but evenly, and that's after about 2 hours of continuous sweating! It has also not broken me out ever. I have only given it 3/5 though, just because for its actual purpose of a foundation, I prefer others over it. It does have a bit of a greasy finish and just doesn't feel as nice on the skin as I would have wanted it to, which is why i switched to just using it on my problem areas. But if you aren't worried about foundation feeling super natural to the touch, then i would recommend this product!

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

After only 3 days of wearing this, I broke out all over my face. I have tried many different products before, and this is the first time anything has caused me to break out. As well, it didn't really enhance my skin at all.

Concealers -Maybelline - Fit Me

I was actually looking forward to trying this product a lot, but sadly I was misleaded by all the positive comments. The colour selection is good, but that is about the only thing I like about this. Although this is a liquid, I found it fairly heavy on my skin and it also became cakey very quickly even if I only applied a thin layer, not to mention the creasing. While the packaging is normally what I look for in a concealer, the "stopper" to clean the applicator is M.I.A. and the product gets all over not only the applicator but the wand. Overall, I would not recommend this product, and I am still on the hunt for a good concealer.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion

This is my all-time favourite mascara! It is true to its claims and does not flake and does give great length and volume. It is extremely easy to get the results you want with no effort and it also doesnt clump up your lashes. I have re-purchased this product and will continue to do so.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation

When I first put on this foundation it was great. I would say it is a light-medium coverage even though it claims to be medium-full. It is very easy to blend (I use my fingers), has a satin to slightly matte finish and it smells amazing. It feels very lightweight, like I'm not even wearing makeup and hasnt broken me out. I also like the squeeze tube it comes in. But the lasting power is bad--throughout the day it wears off (evenly though, not blotchy) which I expected because it never claimed to be long wearing, but if I just slightly rubbed my nose it would rub off and I would be left with this blotch! which is a major down side for me because I go to school all day. It is also fairly expensive for a drugstore foundation, I got it on sale for $14, which isnt really a sale for a drugstore. Overall it is a pretty good foundation, but I am going to continue searching.
