Hair -Got 2 Be - Rockin' It Encore Fresh Dry Shampoo

This crap SUCKS!! First of all, it smells so bad that even my family complained about it; second, it doesn't even work: my hair looked even worse with this in than it did without it. Thank God I bought it on sale, so I only wasted $3.99CDN. I will be throwing this away and will not buy it again.
I am in love with this quad. I where it almost everyday! The greyish taupe shade doesn't see a lot of love from me daily, but all the others I cannot live without. The shadows are fantastic quality for the drugstore: not chalky, smooth, and pigmented. Some previous reviewers have said that the two browns look the same, but I disagree. While they are similar, the one on the top is a warm-toned brown, while the one on the bottom has more of a cool-tone. I'm worried that this may be getting discontinued, because it is becoming increasingly difficult to find. I managed to pick up the last three at my local Walmart though. This quad is so diverse, and a staple in my large makeup collection. Totally recommend

Let me begin by saying that I do not usually have sensitive skin. When I read the reviews here on MUA and people were saying that these burned, I thought "How bad can it be? I have tough skin anyways"; so, when I was walking through Shoppers and spotted these on sale I decided to pick them up. When I finally used them OMGOSH, THE BURN!! It hurt so badly I couldn't believe it. I'll finish up the pack because I don't like to waste my money, but I will not be buying them again. Because these burn so badly I dread using them; totally not worth the $8 and change I paid for them. Really awesome packaging though.
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Jet Black

I really like this. I bought it because it was on sale, and I'd been wanting a black kohl pencil forever. Originally, I thought that this would be great in the waterline... it is not (it smudges and doesn't last very long); however, I love using this on my upper lash line. I run this half way across my lash line, and then smudge it out using a pencil brush and some matte black eyeshadow (NYX black is the best). It adds a sexy drama to my make up and I love it!! I do the same thing with the sable brown kohl pencil and a matte dark brown shadow for a softer look... I love these pencils (jet black and sable brown are gems)
Hair -Unlisted Brand - MACADAMIA NATURAL OIL Deep Repair Mask
123loverXOXO 3/21/2012 2:54:00 PM
I got a full size of this masque in a kit along with a full size of the healing oil treatment, a full size of the shampoo, sample sizes of the conditioner, leave-in cream, and spray, plus a healing oil infused comb all for $69.00CDN at Winners (unbelivable deal I know! 3 full size products [all of which were the products that I went in to buy anyways] plus 3 good sized samples and a comb for cheaper than it would have been just to buy the treatment and masque). Anyways, I love everything in this line (the spray's scent is a little bit too strong though), but this masque is the best thing from the entire line! It not only makes my hair extremely soft and manageble, but I've found that after 3 months of using this (I've barely even made a dent in the pot yet.. it's so big!) my hair has grown so long so fast, and it is way stronger... I LOVE IT!! I will be purchasing this again for sure. Definately worth the money ladies. (Just for reference, I have thick, medium-length hair which I get highlighted about 4 times a year). I use a small amount of this masque about 2-3 times every week, comb through it with the healing oil infused comb (sometimes I add a drop of the treatment to the masque as well for extra nourishment), let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and rinse. Works wonderfully :)
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - One n' Only - Argan Oil Treatment
123loverXOXO 3/21/2012 2:36:00 PM
I bought this because I wanted to see if these oil treatment products worked on my hair before shelling out the cash for a more expensive version. This is wonderful! It smells awesome, and it makes my hair super soft, shiny, and frizz-free. The price is great too (I think I paid $12.00CDN for it at Sally Beauty Supply?) Anyways, I loved this product so much that I decided to shell out the cash for the Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment. Although I like the Macadamia one a lot, they pretty much do the same thing; in fact, I find myself reaching for One n' Only more simply because it works the exact same, it's cheaper (so I don't feel as guilty if I use too much), and it smells way nicer. I would recommend picking this up if you are curious about these treatments, but don't want to spend upwards of $40.00 on one. Great product.
I have a love/hate relationship with this mascara. At first, I thought it was ok.. then I HATED IT!! Then I loved it, and so on. Right now, it is the mascara that I reach for the most. It makes my lashes really long and full.. so beautiful. I hated this because it is beyond goopy when you first take it out of the tube, and I'm too lazy to spend 10seconds wiping off the excess; however, once you give it time to dry a little bit, this mascara is awesome. I would recommend re-trying this after about 2-3 weeks if you are unsure about this, because when it's dry it is so much better. Might repurchase.
My HG liquid liner. This was the first liquid eyeliner I tried, and although I have tried other ones since I keep coming back to this. It is so easy to use, and it's super cheap! For $3.00 you really can't go wrong. It's super black, matte, amazing. Love this! I even bought 2 more backups just because a lady at walmart told me that NYC brand was being discontinued (I really hope that doesn't happen though).
If I could give this a 4.5 I would. I love this blush, but I don't find myself reaching for it all the time because it is sometimes too warm and dark for my light/medium skin tone. I do, however, love the colour (peachy pink with gold shimmer, similar to NARS orgasm which I also have) for days when I am more tanned. This is an absolutely gorgeous blush and a fantastic value for the price.
I really like this blush. I found it at superstore for around $10.00CDN, which is a good price considering the awesome quality of this product. This is a soft pink with intense glitter. It's a little bit too much glitter at times (even for someone like me who has come to enjoy a bit of glitter from time to time); the gorgeous colour, however, makes it worth it. I will probably repurchase this because I love to wear it with natural, matte eyes, it completes the look. Not HG status yet, but still really good.
I have dark brown hair but light brown eyebrows, so I decided to try out taupe. I LOVE it! It is the perfect colour for my brows (matches them flawlessly). I used to use eyeshadow for my brows, but they always ended up looking ashy, plus it took too long. This pencil (which is huge btw) gives me excellent control and a natural look (I only use it to fill in any gaps)... I would recommend this for sure. And it's only $1.50, how could you go wrong?
holy pigment batman! This product is great.. it's super creamy, crazy pigmented (a little really does go a long way with this), and it looks really natural -- I completely love this for everyday
Blush -Hard Candy - Blush Crush Baked Blush #127 Honeymoon
123loverXOXO 2/3/2012 7:46:00 PM
Let me start by saying that this is not the best blush in the world, but an amazing highlighter! I usually do not like shimmery blushes, but this looked so amazing in the pan that I had to pick it up.. I am so glad I did! The colour is a sheer peachy pink with fine shimmer in it. I don't use this product alone on my cheeks, instead I use it ontop of other blushes to add a glow. I usually hate shimmery cheeks, but this over top of say my NYX cream blush in natural is gorgeous, and gives my skin a healthy glow. I would highly recommend this to those who want that "glow from within" look.
I bought Shell 2 years ago because KandeeJohnson raved about it on youtube. I quickly hit pan on it and thought it was the best thing ever; but then i bought NARS copacabana (which is my favourite highlighter ever.. it gives a healthy glow without being glittery at all). Anyways, i was fishing through my collection recently and saw Shell and decided to try it out again (after all, I had already hit pan so it must be good right?) It wasn't very flattering. It's very glittery.. not shimmery/glowy... glittery. If you're looking for a good highlighter, skip shell and go for NARS copacabana multiple; it's a little expensive but so worth it as it looks way more natural and flattering.. plus it lasts FOREVER
This is by far my favourite brush in my enitre collection. I use it for everything: powder, blush, bronzer, and even as a highlight blush when I'm in a pinch for time.. this is WONDERFUL! It is super soft, and I've washed mine several times and it's still perfect. For the price and availablility (I got mine for around $9.00CDN at Walmart) there is no way to beat quality like this.
