Super fresh, clean, natural-smelling floral. Smells amazing and I get many compliments/inquiries. Guys seem to love it. Not dirty/heavy-smelling like a lot of musky scents. Might be my HG, aside from Bath and Body Works' discontinued Butterfly Flower.

Primer/ Corrector -Maybelline - Maybelline Coverstick Corrector Concealer

I've been using this product since I was 15 (8 years now) and it's still one of the best concealers I've used. I've tried many, of course, but this one is the best for my oily, acne-prone scarred up skin. I am probably around a nc10/n1 in mac and end up using shade#1 in this concealer. This concealer is good for me because my oily skin is well-moisturized and therefore the concealer blends well and doesn't "drag". Its coverage is great and I have never failed in being able to cover up really bad/bright acne and scars. I use sparingly and it looks great when applied properly. I also use it for highlighting a bit. Staying power is amazing, even on my oily skin that usually wipes away all makeup. This stuff lasts! As in, I've had it on during all-nighters and it's still been in place the next day. Crazy. For 5 bucks, it's definitely worth it to me. Convenient size and shape--almost looks like a lipstick. Fits easily in a little purse. Will definitely repurchase.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Lip Stain

I am pretty pale all over and have ridiculously pale lips. I hate it! I've found that having a color a couple of shades darker than my natural (nonexistent) color is most flattering on me, and I had been using lipsticks up until now. However, 1. Lipsticks taste bad 2. They come off on cups (and boyfriends) and generally just disappear 3. They can feel heavy on your lips I wanted something natural-looking (like the color I should've been born with-- a healthy looking flush) that would last a long time, and stains were the answer. I bought revlon's lip stains in Dawn, first, which I LOVE. Such a beautiful and natural coral-rose color that will perk up any skintone and looks very healthy. Lasts for hours without touchups and is buildable. The second color I bought is forbidden, which is also natural-looking but less coral-y and slightly darker. Also a very pretty and real-looking shade. I love them both. Also, they don't budge! No smearing. Ever. These worked well for me and I never experienced many of the typical issues (i.e. uneven distribution, extreme drying, ring around the outside lip area) but that's because I keep my lips very moisturized all the time. I now couldn't live without these! I can kiss and drink from white cups and go through the day without touching up, getting "eww, your lipstick tastes gross" from my bf, or just generally making a mess. Recommended!

BB Cream -BRTC - Jasmine Water BB Cream SPF 30 PA++
rated 5 of 5

Second BB cream I've tried, aside from Missha's Perfect Cover in #13. I ordered them both as they seemed to be the two lightest shades I could find. I have very pale skin (lighter than NC 15) and was really hoping that this would be my go-to, but it seems that on my very neutral pale complexion (i.e. no pink undertones! Just pale as paper) it comes out looking strangely darker than my neck/body with almost a pink/grey putty-colored hue. It's a shame because I love the scent and the coverage, which is fuller than Missha's and allows me to wear less concealer. Unfortunately, Jasmine Water is very moisturizing and can make someone whose skin already "glows" look like their skin is oily even after they've just washed it. What's worse is that my skin DOES eventually get very oily, so it requires touching up with a little powder often. However, my mom who has dry skin tried this and loved it, and it didn't make her look oily at all. Odd. I'm keeping this as a backup, because despite my harsh description, it doesn't look bad-- just a tiny bit off.

BB Cream -MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream

I'm super pale and freckly with weird slightly olive/pink/extremely neutral undertones that make it almost impossible for me to find a natural-looking color match. For reference, I'm lighter than NC 15. I also have very oily skin and an abundance of acne scars. I had heard all of the hype about bb creams for a while, and after much research I decided to order this product in shade #13. I've had terrible luck with 99 out of 100 foundation shades and was skeptical that it would match me and provide enough coverage, but it really did its job. It's the most natural-looking makeup I've found in years-- it legitimately matches my skin tone and it covers most of my scars, save a few that I have to dot with concealer. Sometimes I don't even have to use concealer on my dark circles! My mom saw me wearing this and said my skin looked "flawless". Lasts for most of the day as well, as long as I blot every once in a while. All of this, plus the 30+ SPF, makes this a fantastic product in my book. Will definitely repurchase. I'd even go so far as to call it an HG. I may never wear "normal" foundation again.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush

I bought this in a rosy pink shade on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I was puzzled by the "bounce" idea at first but got used to it. Easily buildable and blendable. Also very natural-looking and pretty. The shades are matte, though, and while some people might be more into that, I wish it maybe had a tiny tiny bit of shimmer. Just a tiny bit more "radiance" or something. Overall, I'm very pleased. Would purchase again.
