Every time I try this, I break out something vicious. I have oily skin and this makes it severely dehydrated. I've tried this multiple times and its always the same result. The only good thing, for me, is the smell is very light and didn't bother me at all and it actually removes makeup.
IMO, this brush isn't worth the price tag. It's soft to the touch but not as soft when used on the face. The biggest dilemma with this is the amount of hair it sheds. I've had mine for well over 3 years (and the condition is still rather nice, although it could be because lack of usage) or so and rarely ever use it.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream (Night)

First off, I want to say this cream is fragrance free and not too heavy, which I loved and gosh, I really wanted this to work for me but I used this for about 3 months and gave up just last week. I wanted something that would help with the occasional pimples and also the red marks they leave behind, as well as something to help with my visible pores and in comes this retinol cream. Although this made my actual skin texture BEAUTIFUL and glowy, it continuously made me break out something horrid on my forehead (where I NEVER break out) within the first 2 weeks. I continued with it telling myself I was purging but I couldn't do it anymore. 3 months later, and my forehead and part of my cheeks are worse than ever. Whether it was purging or not, I just couldn't take the breakouts and red marks any longer. This, btw, is the second time I give this product a try. My first try was with the SPF version with same results.
I have used and loved this for the past 3 years or so. This (aside from Acne.orgs BP) is the most effective BP I've tried. It can, however, be very drying. I only use it directly on a pimple for this reason and also because I have red marks and placing the BP over them only worsens the redness. I'm currently on my 4th tube or so and will continue to repurchase.

I'm in love with this stuff. This is the best lip product I have ever encountered. I'm not much of a lip stick/gloss girl, so I was always on the hunt for a decent balm/chap stick. I've been using this for 10 or so months and it has become a HG of mine, actually the only thing I really use on my lips (aside from exfoliation). I love the smell, I love the feel of it on my lips and lasting power of it. My lips have never felt this soft even AFTER the product has worn off. Love love love this and will continue to repurchase. I actually like the packaging, although, it brings on some laughs when people have asked me if I'm applying glue to my lips. Hah. :)
This stuff is incredible. I was hesitant to purchase at first because of the silicones it contains, which usually cause me to break out but I was on the search for something new and gave in and I'm so glad I did. I've been using this for nearing 2 months and will be purchasing another bottle in a few more weeks. I've tried so many things, including other SA products (Paula's choice included) and nothing as been as effective and gentle as this! The scent worried me at first, since I have sensitive skin but it's light and hasn't bothered me one bit. I've experienced less actual pimples, and the ones that come now are just around that time of the month and even then, they're not as angry. I've noticed an overall clarify in my skin and toned down redness, although now completely eliminated, so that might be a downfall along with the fact that I haven't noticed a big improvement on the pores/blackheads on my nose but with everything else good this product has done, I'm okay with that! Unless something else comes along, I'll continue to repurchase this over and over. UPDATE 11/5/09: I stopped using this about a month ago. I felt it no longer worked as well as it once did and I've also come to the conclusion that it was this that was making my cheeks flushed looking, which is odd for me. Either way, it's still worth a try, especially when you can get it at Walmart for $5 or so and possibly a coupon.
Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin

I didn't like the look of this foundation on my face. No matter the technique (stippling, wet/dry sponge, hands, etc), light or heavy hand, it looked obvious. I admit the color (buff) was too dark and looked muddy on my very fair skin with yellow undertones, so that added to my dislike. And to also be fair, I prefer light coverage. I haven't tried the Ivory because that looks too pink for me. If they had a matching color, I'd give this another go. I'm in love with the smell though! And it didn't irritate my sensitive skin, either. I didn't wear it long enough to notice if this breaks me out.
Scrubs -Clean & Clear - Soft In-Shower Facial STEAM [DISCONTINUED]

I'm in love. And scrub-wise, I've been around. :)
This stuff is amazing. After a change in my regimen, I ended up with painful zits which then turned to red marks. I remembered having this in my cabinet and within two days, my skin completely did a turn around. A week later and the red marks are greatly reduced, no more painful zits, and what I love most, my skin GLOWS. It looks dewy (not oily or dehydrated) and it's amazingly soft. Before the regime change, I was using the AHA lotion with good results (I really had no reason to switch regimens to begin with) but I'm definitely sticking with the gel, as the results and feel of it is much more satisfying. The AHA lotion made me look and feel sweaty. The packaging is a bit annoying. It usually lets out more product than I need.
I've been using AOBS for about two weeks now. It was my first Lush purchase. I really wanted to love this. I love the smell, herbal. It has evened out my skin tone and nearly all my red marks have disappeared but I'm more than sure it's the reason for the sudden massive break out on my forehead and 3-4 huge whiteheads on my cheeks. I always give everything a longer go but I can't anymore. I switched over to Herbalism. I'll see how that goes, although not nearly as pleasant smelling as AOBS.
I just have to put a good word out for this scrub. I bought it a while ago when I went through a Prescriptives kick and being the product junkie that I "use" to be, I tossed it after a use or two to try other stuff. I've always read "exfoliate 1-2 x weekly" but decided that like everything else, everyones skin is different. I dug through my product stash and pulled this out. I've been using this for a month, every 2-3 days and MY SKIN IS BETTER THAN EVER. All those small clogged pores are GONE. I'm sure you can get a cheaper alternative but this is nice. The tube is nice and simple and the cream has this pretty pink sheen to it. The grains are even and small... very much like sand. :)
This is one I'd repurchase if it weren't for my undying love for Maybelline's Full 'n Soft. Doesn't smear, smudge and I can appreciate the small brush for my small, deep-set eyes.
Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Oil Cleansing Method OCM

I tried this on two different occasions. They will be my last. I used 50/50 (castor oil, grapeseed oil) and broke out both times when my skin was already clearing up. I'm just stupid and like to try different things. I'm not sure if my skin was purging but I couldn't stand it. I looked like I once did, when I was 9/10 and going through puberty. I had red painful zits all over my forehead and left cheek. I've used grapeseed oil before as a moisturizer and I've done fine, so I think it's the use of the castor oil on a daily basis. I can try with other oils (which I suggest if the basic one doesn't work for you, like jojoba oil/grapeseed/etc.) but I'll stick to what was clearing me up.
As much as I'd love to be able to wear this, I can't. My skin freaks out. I've tried it on two different occasions. I've even tried the sensitive skin version. It makes me break out.
Honestly, in my 18 years of life, I don't think I have ever gone a bath/shower without applying this to my body afterwards. My mother use to use this on me since.. probably since I was born and I guess I just "grew up" getting use to applying it. I can't stand that humid/muggy feeling my body has after a shower. I've tried them in original scent, vanilla & jasmine, and lavender & chamomile and have loved them all. I have also tried it on my oily roots and It made my hair feel disgusting, so I won' be using it for that. I will continue to purchase this forever. :)
