I can't believe I ignored this color for so long.Ingrid came out with the fall Vixen collection by China Glaze. It's a brown/ dark taupe color with copper micro glitter. The formula was smooth and it dried in reasonable time. It's a great color when I'm in the mood for a brown/nude but with punch this is great.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Complete Salon Manicure - Without a Stitch

This is from the spring 2011 collection. I had wanted malt but accidently picked this one. The color is cream with a tinge of yellow. On my dark skin it looked ok my issue's were with the brush and the formula. For me the formula was more finiky than an Essie polish. My bottle was thick and goopy and I couldn't get two thin coats to save my life. I also couldn't get the swing of the brush.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Holiday 2010 LE Golden Goddess eyeshadow palette

This is the first Wet n' Wild palatte I didn't enjoy. Being a brown shadow lover this palette was the one I really wanted. The color variation is limited and the shadows are super glittery they can rival Urban Decays glitter bombs. The shadows themselves were soft almost crumbly and while not difficult to blend didn't blend well. I only paid 2.99 so no harm done unlike the Naked Pallate which I hated and knew I would but went along with the crowd.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

This is a great everyday palette. The shadows are soft, easily blendable, and very pigmented. You get eight shadows one side with browns and the other greens. I especially enjoy the green side to me its a muted moss green that is perfect for everyday. Be carefull with the crease shades as a women of color Im used to packing on shadow to get the correct color but no need with this palette a light hand is really warranted with this palette.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection - Blue Had Me At Hello (737)
rated 5 of 5

This is a staple shadow set. If you want various blues with great color payoff for a low price this is a great palette to own. I especially love the dark blues for crease work. The shadows are soft and easy to blend and best of all the color payoff is ridiculousy as a women of color this is saying alot. I own MACs fresh water, deep truth(not deep at all) and plummage and they don't come close to the deep blue I was wanting. This palette includes two hi light colors and an array of blues: a silver tinged blue, an teal/aqua blue, two deep navy blues, one matte black and one black with silver shimmer. Like I said this is a great quad to have on hand when you need some decent blues.

Eye Shadow -NARS - Cordura Duo
rated 2 of 5

I actually went on a binge and purchased several Nars eyeshadows. I was especially excited to purchase this duo. I intenended this to be an everyday shadow. I must of gotten a bad batch because this duo is so underwhelming. The bronze shadow barely showed up on my NC 55 skintone and the dark color was difficult to blend. The overall look was sub par. I will say that I had the same problem with Fez. However galopagos and night porter were fine. I think if I ever purchase Nars shadows again I'll stick to the single shadows.

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Megalast in "Private Viewing" #204A

This is my new go to nude. Im NC50-55 and have had a hard time finding a good nude. I've tried colors like OPI samoan sand, sand in my suit, and san-tantonio with no avail. I decided to pick up private viewing totally expecting it to be a fail because I'm cool tones and private viewing is very peach/pink based and especially with it costing 1.99. It applied very sheer and streaky with the first coat, but I didn't give up I applied two more thickish coats ans it was perfect. I was shocked. At 1.99 it's a steal will def repurchase.

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer of Purrfect
rated 5 of 5

Perrfect is a bare escentuals eyeshadow that has a shimmer finish and is described as a medium golden green. It applies vibrant when swatched wet or dry. I use it wet and pat on my lid. It's a great lid color me and use my other b.e. shadow in bordeux in the crease. I paid thirteen dollars for it. I'm and NC 50-55.
